Save yourself and go to ANY other post office in the area! The ladies are miserable here very rude especially the older wrinkly one. The tan lady needs training, she filled out my customs form wrong and my package was sent back. now my deployed husband won’t receive his package in time. Then she told me if I open my box and Re box in a brown box it be cheaper, it was $30 more! I went in for them to re ship my box since it was sent back, Waited 30 min for them to say I have to dig the original box out of the dumpster at my apartment lol in order for them to re send it. Then locked me out with my boxes still inside!!! they are crazy and maybe dementia has hit them. I hope Allen the manager can send my package next week. they also take forever the line was long and barely moved. This place is a joke. And there are bed bugs or fleas on the rugs by the desk, it’s unsanitary. Allen and Henry were great when I went back. Helpful and professional. Nothing like the women that work there.

EMMA WHO WEARS BRIGHT LIPSTICK WHO IS THE SUPERVISOR LIKES TO TAUNT CUSTOMERS AND DISRESPECTS THEM! USEF THE MANAGER IS UNCARING AND JUST AS RUDE AS THE REST HE SAYS ITS NOT HIS RESPONSIBILITY TO FOLLOW THE CHANGE OF ADDRESS FORM!! WHICH IS A LIE. I have a business and deal with this post office on a daily basis. If you treat people with courtesy, you will be treated with courtesy as well. There are at the most 2 clerks at this tiny post office. It has to be one of the busiest post offices in San Diego due to being blocks away from the Navy base. This post office is very busy and recently will have a line out to the parking lot. This is not a reflection of the service these postal clerks give. In my experience, they have been always courteous, friendly, and efficient. The supervisor, Ema is knowledgeable, helpful, and steps in to assist when needed.
Packages get returned without recipients' consent. USPS makes no attempt to contact addressee prior to returning packages; eventhough, they have the addressee's contact information. The issue was brought up to the USPS's management multiple times, and they place the blame on the addressee not filling out the information correctly. However, the addressee's delivery forms have been filled out correctly. More communication and better customer care is definitely needed and deserved; especially since the USPS is charging the addressee for service and care.
Bad service. Carrier delivered my package to the wrong address and I’ve been reaching out for the past week to try and get them to confirm that it was a wrong delivery and that it’s THEIR fault and not mine and they haven’t confirmed anything so I haven’t been able to get reimbursed or get anything reshipped. The package was worth $300 and it was for my birthday on this Friday coming up so not only did they lose my package but they also ruined what I had planned for my birthday, giving MY package to someone else. Would give 0 stars if I could.
Horrible work ethic here, I had sensitive info. and Amazon orders being put in the wrong box because somebody didn't do their job properly. Took me to tell a clerk to fix their side of my PO Box (which was marked incorrectly). My advice is to ask them to show you exactly where your PO Box is! Unfortunately, this has to be done because the workers here don't care about your mail. The only reason I go to this USPS is because of its location close to the military base. Otherwise, I would use somewhere else.
Around Christmas time I called them to check on my package that had been "delivered" but I had not received it. Well the mail man delivered it to the wrong apartment and was not able to get it back. I had to go through the claims process and was not given my money back. The hours are inconvenient, no Saturday hours and the service is horrible. I wonder if they feel that because this is a lower income neighborhood they can treat ppl the way they do. It's disappointing and disgusting!
I’m bringing it upon myself to write my first review EVER because the old people that work here are the most MISERABLE people I’ve ever talked to in my life. I went in today to ship 2 packages I had prepaid labels for and was treated terribly by the big old man with the glasses and the big wrinkly old woman who looks like a man. Thank you for throwing my receipt at me all because I asked for a padded envelope (at 3:34pm on 10/4) Get a new job if you hate your life.
The worst post office in San Diego Emma was trying to take up for her worker when her worker messed up my mail and put my mail somewhere and they don’t know where it’s at and then they finally found the key and put it in my mailbox and got the key to unlock my lockbox and it was my neighbors mail in my lockbox This has been the worst experience ever and I have been going back-and-forth with them for almost 2 weeks now And the issue is still not resolved
Our mailman decided to leave my package containing over a hundred dollars worth of skin care products on top of our communal standalone mailbox, in the middle of the ghetto, and everything was stolen out of it. Why bother using the locked package receptacles, right? The shipper didn't offer insurance so I'm S.O.L. Thanks USPS! (For nothing)
Mailman left a package worth $80 outside my apartment door knowing it was an open apartment complex. Apparently he heard a television playing inside therefore he left it. Yet, there was absolutely no noise inside my apartment since there was nobody home. Terrible service. $80 thrown to the trash because of his unprofessionalism.

3 delayed packages in last 2 weeks. 1st was animal interference, 2nd blocked receptacle I was outside waiting no usps driver at said time and 3rd animal interference AGAIN, and again I was outside with neighbors and no usps vehicle on sight.. I'd love to have that job, get paid and not do my job. Sounds pretty sweet.
This post office has really turned it around. I used to dread coming here but recently made a visit and it is much more welcoming. The clerks at the front were so helpful and kind. Even saw one of them being so patient with an older lady and helping her fill out her forms. I feel much better coming here now.
Yeah the line can be long sometimes, but everyone there is pretty nice and a couple times i forgot to put my PO box number on delivery addresses from Amazon and they figured it out and had it ready for me for pick up. Idk about all these negative reviews. These people obviously have never been to the DMV lol
Very poor customer service. My mail man is very obnoxious. Does not care what mail he delivers. The supervisor in charge Is just the same. I've complained about the way they do business and the way the mail is handled and the problems still persist. Please do not go here if you can help it. Sincerely Luis.
The mailman didn't even put the mail in the mailbox and just threw it over the gate onto the porch. I keep getting mail from a guy that lived here three years ago even though I clearly put a sign that say he doesn't live here on the mailbox. Worst mail service I've ever had.
Employees here were super rude and refused to give me info on about my p.o box. Told me I would have to come back when a manager was there? I found the form online thankfully since the male employee refused to help.
I go in and drop my package off and I leave and that's it They recently closed the downtown post office last year it no longer exist and I have no idea what the new one is at and they also work on Horton plaza too
Post Office in Barrio Logan had poor customer interactions. So I went downtown where the customer service was much better. Come to find out, the first rep handled the paperwork. So effective but rude.
They delivered my package to the wrong house and it was stolen. They were also given the proper house and directions to get there. Very ignorant and poor delivery service. Just leave it any where.
Unfortunately this location does not have a sec checkout kiosk. Lines can be super long, though the people at the front counter are helpful and kind. U.S.P.S. needs to update this location badly.
DIANA is very unprofessional and disrespectful. She refused to help me, while she was upset with another costumer she gave me a horrible attitude. So i had to go to another post office.
Very bad customer service! the lady there, I think Diana,doesn't know how to deal with customers,she's very mean. That's sad because customers should be most important part.
Terrible service and attitude. If tracking says item is ready for pick up then obviously you could check instead of getting an attitude with a customer.
Quick and courteous service. Parking Lot was full and not necessarily postal customers. I was able to find a spot on the street in front of post office
They’ve lost a piece of my mail. They say they delivered it but I have not received it and I am unable to reach a human being to resolve the matter.
