I attempted to ship out a package using the international flat rate envelope. Although I confirmed the price at a previous visit to this location as well as the location closer to where I live, no one seemed to be able to help me. I was quoted a much higher price then quoted before. I was asked would I like to speak with a supervisor to which I responded yes. After a few minutes the supervisor came out with a frown on his face and told me that if the teller said that she was not going to ship out my package then it will not be shipped. Really?! That's it?! He didn't even try to help. As he turned and began to walk away I responded, "Thanks for nothing!" I told the teller that her supervisor was worthless and that I shouldn't have to come in there and tell them how to do they're job and that they need to do BETTER! I left and went to the post office near 40th st & Thomas to which they mailed out my package at the QUOTED price with NO issues. I will never return to this location again as they are extremely incompetent. How is it possible that I know more about there jobs then they do?
While the staff is always friendly and nice the sheer fact that they are NEVER open on time is absurd. I've attached a photo of the alledged full service hours vs. self service hours since I couldn't find it ANYWHERE else. First of all, it literally says on their USPS website that the lobby is supposed to be open 24/7. I read another review from a woman enraged she couldn't get to her PO box due to the limited hours, and I agree. All I needed to do was drop-off a package. No help required. Just needed to literally drop it in the collection box. I came at 7:30 AM (according to the hours on the door it was open), but as you can see in the photo the door is dead bolt locked. If there's one thing I hate it's wasted time. I have newborn puppies at home and I can't afford to keep coming back and forth to the post office on a guestimate of when they will be open.
Never thought I would be writing a review for a post office but here I am. Moved here from TN in August and never have I encountered a post office staff that’s not only diverse but INCREDIBLY friendly. Smiles !? At the post office ??? Crazy. Very kind to older customers, they’re able to multitask despite getting slammed in the afternoon..what more could you want in a post office? Whoever hired the crew here, bless you for real.
I went there to ask for a change of address form. I tried explaining that I can't go online with a cash app card. Guy kept cutting be off telling me it's easier to go online. Didn't even ask for identification. Told me to drop the form into the box. I did. As soon as I left some how I got an email saying my change of address couldn't be submitted.
This is HANDS DOWN the best post office in Phoenix. The people who work here are efficient and NICE (ever get the guy who drums with his pens?! He’s so nice!). I go out of my way to come here. It’s a little hard to see bc it’s not well marked from the street. Just south of Indian School on the East side in the street (behind Taco Bell)
I’ve been coming to this location for many years and the staff here are great! They’re all very pleasant and doing what they can to serve all of us. I’ve been to other USPS locations in the valley and they just don’t seem to be all that friendly? Definitely not as friendly as the folks here. I don’t think I’m biased lol.
A friend sent a package to my apartment complex, but didn’t put the apartment number and rather than go to the office to get the necessary information and the package was returned back to California; now, my friend has to send it to me again! The postal carrier dropped the ball big time!
Recently had a bad experience with extremely rude associates at the front desk here. I went in to change my address in person and was told that it simply isn't possible and I should change it with all my other services- only then will I start getting mail again.
I gotta give this USPS five stars. This place is always busy and all the negative reviews reflect that. Kevin has been excellent over the phone and the representative clerks inside, are always friendly!
Used all their services in the last eight years… I always get and see people getting great service. It’s clean, manager is helpful with keeping the line moving.
