"I really like this place"
"Incredible experience at Unusual Cuisine! Just like the name, this place is unusual"
"Order: starch & banga soup for two, pounded yam & okra for one"
"One of the best places for local foods! Their seafood palmoil rice is my constant order and they never miss( just once and that was never repeated after an compliant) I recommend them to everyone who asks for a great meal and good prices"
"It has a really nice atmosphere and nice meals"
I really like this place. Decor is beautiful and kind of cultural. The entrance is really pretty with a “danfo” bus artistically designed & parked right infront then a pretty patio before you walk in through the doors to a big dining space. There is a Queen Idia mask and portraits of music Legends like Fela on their wall. Their menu is very Nigerian, delta meals like banga soup & banga rice are my favorite here. You should also try their egusi soup. They also have healthy Nigerian meal options which I believe is amazing. Best part is that they are very affordable, almost like a bukka. There’s a large piano for guests to try out their hands with. Delivery options are available. My only complain, the menu is quite large so not everything on it is usually available all the time.
Incredible experience at Unusual Cuisine! Just like the name, this place is unusual. One of the best places to get Nigerian meals in Lekki. Food is rich and tastes Great. Well prepared and service is pronto! The restaurant is chilled with less crowd, you can literally have a work meeting here and you’d enjoy the privacy. The staff here understand their assignment and are always ready to help. I’m giving a 5 star because it’s totally worth it. Oh and if you ever get to visit try their seafood okra! The best you’ll ever have…rich in obstacles if you know what I mean
Order: starch & banga soup for two, pounded yam & okra for one. It took over an hour and we were the only ones in the restaurant. I'd suggest you call ahead to order. The food was great; fresh and well made but the portions of starch and pounded yam were so small - and I'm not a heavy eater - I had a lot of soup left over. I enjoyed that at home a couple of days later. It felt like getting two meals for the price of one.
One of the best places for local foods! Their seafood palmoil rice is my constant order and they never miss( just once and that was never repeated after an compliant) I recommend them to everyone who asks for a great meal and good prices. I do deliveried meals mostly and only visited once and I loved tn the ambience and how polite the staff were. Their preparation time takes a bit however so be wary of that.
It has a really nice atmosphere and nice meals. Apart from the long wait time, it ended up as a nice experience. And for this reason, I'm giving it an overall rating of four stars.

Hands down the best banga soup I've ever had, and the soup portion is enough for 2, place is neat and quiet, if you looking for privacy it's perfect as it's never crowded. it's advisable to order first before getting there as the meal is prepared from the scratch, but it's so worth it …
The atmosphere was neat and service was great. The meal was well worth it. Hot, fresh and really tasty.

We just have few places in town that offers the quality of meal you will get here. They offer tailor made meals with such unique taste that glues you to always knocking on their door. One good thing about them is their promptness to orders which is quite encouraging

Nice enough place to chill out. Ladies should probably not come here alone at night because it’s located in a secluded place and the road leading to it is not well lit. The place is fine though. Pretty much what you see is what you get. Food is tasty too.
This restaurant is located in one of the high brow areas in lagos and has a great ambience with nice sélections of tasty African foods as well as grill options. The best part is the very affordable pricing...compared to other restaurants in same area.
Definitely my favourite restaurant in Lagos. Their menu range is crazy and trust me they never miss. From Local to Continental, the chef throws it down. One of the few restaurants in Lagos I've visited more than once.
Second time I'm here. Food takes hours to deliver and no one to even talk to to. Had to cancel order today. Slowest service I have ever experienced. As if they are literally doing customers a favour. …
The food is tasty, well prepared and service was okay. Patience must be applied though, service time is a bit slow. I love that it wasn't over crowded given the pandemic. Overall it was all to my liking.
This place is nice and affordable. Nigerian cuisine is sold here, there's a snooker table, the DJ's mix is divine. The music isn't too loud where you have to yell to be heard.
Nice place, I'd recommend the restaurant for your dates but not a choice spot to hang out with more than 4 friends they never have enough spoons.
Very nice local dishes and ambience. Customer service was good and we enjoyed our time there. Great place for a bridal or baby shower.
Food is great. Service is so slow. Price is reasonable for quality/quantity Advisable for take outs mainly Owner usually on premises.
Loved the place! Beautiful space, the plantain and catfish pepper soup is sooo amazinggg and their service was top-notch!
