My experience here has been awful. I live in Houston TX, my business partner and I flew into Miami today on a business trip. We arrived at the hotel during late hours due to business meeting starting at 1:30 and check in not until 3:00 p.m. so we have to handle business first and come to the hotel after. Upon arriving to the we were told which room was available, I was so tired from the flight in and not being able to check into the hotel prior. All I wanted to do was take a hot shower, unfortunately there was no hot water. We asked for help the guy who checked the Zen came into the room and told us that the water was perfect as I'm feeling the water ice cold. I then told him we would like a different room adding that the beds were dirty and disgusting, not to mention the TV don't either. It is now 2:00 a.m. in the morning we are two black women in a hotel room with the door open while we wait for help. We were told that we can cancel our reservation and go find somewhere else again it is 2:00 a.m. and we have brought all our belongings into this room, we have no form of transportation, and no idea where else to go, cancellation fee will not be paid right away. This really sucks I wish I would NOT have booked this room to stay. (:

SO MUCH MOLD ODOR! Just like the other reviewrs mentioned. There's obviously no picture of the mold smell so you're just going to have to trust us, Its so strong you can taste it if you breathe in through your mouth. I told the check-out attendant about it when he asked us about our experience and he acted surprised about it... i'm pretty sure he's the one that answers these reviews so he already knew. The floors really were dirty, just like other reviews mentioned, there were big pieces of debri on the floor right when we entered, like the cleaning staff didn't even try. The attendant at check-in really didnt speak a lick of english, like the other reviews mentioned, but he was nice and helpful. You pay for the hotel but you have to pay to park and it's THEIR parking lot. ‍ luckily, it was only $5/night. The beds are horrible, the springs make noise when you push on them. The plus side: There's a tiny TV but it has all the steaming platforms logged in and enabled for you. Mini fridge and microwave. The location is awesome, 24hr dennys & mcdonalds right across the street. If you're going ro charge ober $200 for a room you HAVE TO DO BETTER.

Pues la personas se quejan de que no limpian la habitación en el tiempo de la estadía , pero pregunto ¿quién cambia la ropa de cama todos los días? Creo que nadie. Para mi en lo personal me encantó. Y volveré si tengo la oportunidad. Sobre la cama me he quedado en hoteles más conocidos y las camas con un hoyo que uno se levanta con dolor de espalda. Aquí la cama me encantó y descanse muy bien. Queda recomendado.

I made my reservation in a rush and forgot to cover the basics: checking Google reviews. The most essential thing a hotel guest needs is a reliable internet connection, especially during COVID. That wasn't the case - wifi was disconnecting randomly in my phone and I couldn't even connect from my laptop. The room is separated from outdoor public hallways through a large glass wall with a large curtain. The curtain doesn't fully cover the glass, which makes everyone walking on the hallway able to see through into the room. The walls are paper thin and I could hear the conversation of the guests next door clearly. This made it hard to sleep at night as they were pretty loud. Rooms face a very busy road and are not soundproofed well, so it's a constant roaring of car engines and honking. The reason for 2 stars instead of 1 is that the staff was friendly and the room was clean. I need to stay a few more days in Miami, and I'm heading to a different hotel, no doubt.

4.5/5 stars! Check in was easy and check out was easy. Staff was friendly, everything was clean. I never saw bugs or anything like that. TV had smart apps like YouTube/Netflix. Despite being next to a busy road, we never heard traffic or noise. Only the people in the room next to us. We just put some rain backgrounds on YouTube and went to sleep :) The ONLY complaint I would have is that they are bad about answering the phone >_< I confronted the staff about why they do not answer their phone, since i needed them several times about different questions. The lady said that "we have gotten many prank calls" Which didnt make any sense. So that is all thank you! Just be sure to have 100$ to spare as they take a deposit, but i got it back in about 4 days :)

Room was dirty, bed was stained (glad I take my own bedsheets to hotels) and there was bed bugs!! The room smelled musty I had to buy a candle. Hospitality wise the people at the front desk were very nice. But the room was bad, wifi service didn't even reach my room. Towels were dirty and I found hair in the mini fridge and on towels. On the morning of my check out I was changing and house keeping lady opened my door to the room! Apperantly she was told I had already checked out and I hadn't. It was 9:30am! That's in invasion of privacy! Could have at least knocked and asked if anyone was still in the room! I only stayed one night and I'm glad it was only one night I don't think I could handle more than that. I had reservations for the following week but I quickly cancelled and got an Airbnb instead. Do not recommend at all. Avoid if possible.

If you are sensitive to mold STAY AWAY!! Others should expect a headache from the smell of cleaner they use to cover the smell. In addition the bed was dirty, floors also dirty, fridge leaked. No effort for maintenance. We stayed with another group who’s room had rain come through the front door. We switched rooms within an hour of checking in, just to find the other room was not any better. Good odds all the rooms need overhaul or at a bare minimum some anti-mold paint. Do yourself and family a favor and pay the little extra for a good nights sleep at the other nearby hotels. Those offer comfort, breakfast, and trust.

This hotel made my wife and 2 year old sleep in a bed without a blanket. Full disclosure: my child got sick on the original blanket at 3am (which already had holes and nail polish spills on it) wife asks front desk for another blanket, which isn’t an unreasonable request for a HOTEL. But was informed that she couldn’t have one until 7am when housekeeping arrived. Complete joke of a hotel. They advertise 24/7 front desk but I hope you don’t need anything from them after business hours. Because they won’t help you. WiFi doesn’t reach our room. This hotel is a perfect example of “landlord special” it looks like they painted over the rust and mold, threw down some fancy looking cheap tile and called it “renovated”

Una muy buena experiencia, tenía miedo por los comentarios negativos que había pero tiene una buena relación precio-calidad y una muy buena ubicación cerca de todo y en pleno barrio de winwood que está creciendo muchísimo. Es un hotel 2 estrellas simple sin desayuno pero con microondas y heladera pequeña, posen aire acondicionado y secadora de pelo. El punto negativo es que no hay lugar de guardado de la ropa por lo que hay que tener todo en las maletas. Igualmente tuvimos la mejor habitación (217) con balcón privado, mesa y 2 sillas.

The first room we was given was dirty. The floor was not swept, dusty, the shower was dirty & the bed linen was horrible. There was an actual foot print on one of the beds. The second room was better but not much because there was bed bugs that we discovered from bites on my legs. They didn’t provide wash clothes at all. There was loud partying from the people next to us. The tv only had 2 channels & they were scrambled so we were unable to watch it. Just a overall horrible experience. We will be disputing the charges. The only good thing was the location.

The place is really cute and nice for a cheap stay, but beware, they will not return your $100 deposit. I called multiple times & nobody spoke English or helped me with getting it back. I travel all the time, and did not damage anything in the hotel. This also happened to another friend of mine who stayed there as well. We are both trying to dispute the charges with our credit card company. This was in May 2022, and it’s now October, so this was 5 months ago and the charge is still there.

For a hotel that's more of a motel I had pretty low expectations. Past reviews make it out to be a terrible place to stay, but it was reasonable. The room we stayed in seemed to be recently remodeled so it was very nice, the tile floor was a bit slippery from the condensation from the AC hitting the warm air, but other than that the room was nice. There was plenty of shampoo and soap to go around. Beware, like most other hotels/motels, the walls are very thin so you can hear people in neighboring rooms. The staff seemed nice during interactions I had with them.

Listen this is about a $100 room in downtown Miami. It was clean, staff was friendly, our room had a microwave and mini fridge. Super cool motel like stay in the middle of downtown. Remodeled courtyard. McDonald's and Taco Bell across the street. This was perfect for our pre-cruise stay. I locked myself out of my room in the first five minutes and staff just kindly gave me another key no issues.

Room was clean. Husband is disabled. Walk in shower, no shower chair. I ask at the desk about a shower chair. Was told they didn't have one. Between the bed being so uncomfortable and the outside noise we didn't sleep all night. You would think for $180.00 for the night that you would get hand towels and washcloths. In the morning I had to pay $2.00 for a cup of coffee that was so bad I couldn't drink it. Would not recommend or stay here again.

For the price I thought this hotel was pretty great. We checked in and got a room with an AC that wasn't working. Angie, who was working at the front desk, was excellent. She got us a new room, made sure we had everything we needed for our entire stay, and was always friendly/had a smile on her face. Our room was clean, had a good shower, was spacious and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

My boyfriend was going to get us a Airbnb but I preferred getting a hotel. I am glad that we decided on this place. It is close to midtown and main roads so I felt safe and there was lots to do around the area. The room we got was amazing. And the sitting area on the outside is beautiful . We will definitely come back again when the time is right for us.

Forget Wifi, it does not work for more than 5 minutes at a time before it disconnects again, and when informing the desk, just get a shrug of the shoulders. Not even a basic coffee station, or kettle, so get walking for your morning/evening coffee. I feel overpriced for what it is

Location was not great. No amenities in room. Not one to complain but the cleanliness of the room was unsettling. There was only a single sheet on the bed. The price is what caught our eye as we were cruising out the next morning but honestly, I would consider other accommodations if you’re looking for a place to eat or even walk to during your stay.

Overall really best price for being downtown...few issues like hot water runs out fast and no phone in rooms to call from desk. I guess you have to use cell phones...But otherwise BEST PRICE keep up the good work and please make the garden area where the pool was more eye apealing. Thanks...

This place is pretty decent for a one night stay. It was very clean and air conditioner worked great! Really close to a lot of fast food restaurants. My only complaint is that the bed is pretty uncomfortable and the walls are very thin. You could hear the people in the next room cough and the cars on the road. But overall it was good.

If I could have given it zero stars I would've. No one answers the phone when you call. The rooms smelled like covered up mildew. The shower had a hole in the ceiling and mold. The outside looks like you might get kidnapped. Terrible!

Rated 4 stars because of great value for money spent. Within minutes from midtown, affordable for the location, and provides the basics: bed with comfortable enough linen (though they were NOT spotless!), Flatscreen TV, wardrobe closet, fridge, microwave, shower)
