We’ve been coming here for 3 years & am so happy to have found a hospital that is patient with my nervous girl! Each interaction I’ve had has been nothing but pleasant and informative. I love that they provide in depth price breakdowns before services, send home brochures for products recommended, offer price matching if you find a better price elsewhere and send home estimates for future services. These doctors make sure before you leave that you are comfortable with your pets treatment plan and don’t let your questions go unanswered. Between the social media photos and the belly rubs, They make your pets visit very personable to where they remember such a good time. My girl does!! I have the upmost respect for the Doctors and the staff. They pour their souls into their line of work. It truly shows that they enjoy what they do. They deserve a pat on the back for doing what they do everyday. Thank you Dr. Jen, Dr. Brethel and Dr. Becker for always providing superb care for my girl! ♥️♥️

The doctors at Uptown Vet have been caring for my animals for close to 3 years. All of their doctors provide the best care and you can tell they truly love helping animals. I've never felt rushed during my visits and they always answer all of my questions. I've had dogs with a lot of medical issues and each doctor is incredibly thorough. I also appreciate that they provide estimates prior to doing any services. They always provide all of the treatment options from a minimal approach to doing all treatment/diagnostics. I never feel judged when I opt out of a service. The receptionists and assistants are knowledgeable as well. If a doctor isn't available, they are always happy to help if they can. My dogs absolutely love coming in. They know as soon as they enter the lobby, there's a person behind the desk ready to give them lots of treats and pets. I can't recommend this hospital enough!

I have four fur babies (and had another that passed away) and they all have come to Uptown Vet since we’ve had them. I cannot say enough good things about the staff who love our fur babies like we do. They are knowledgeable and so helpful. I feel like sometimes we live there with how often each of our pets have had to see them, but it’s worth it for the care. I feel that I can advocate for my pets and my concerns are taken care of appropriately. We now don’t live as close, but we drive out of the way because they’re that good. It’s a fantastic, CLEAN facility and wonderful staff. You won’t regret coming to Uptown Vet for your care! The fur babies all love the big windows in the front to look at the passerby’s!

They truly care. My sweet Babbu suffered from great anxiety and they always made her visits gentle and kind. They spoke to her like she was a child and she clearly felt their warmth. They were trying hard to figure out what was happening with a bump on her head. Not only were they great when I brought her in for procedures and tests but they also went above and beyond by offering to refund me for the medication I picked up but never was able to give my dog because she died in a fire that afternoon. They also showed great empathy when I reached out to them about what had happened. Thank you for caring so much for my sweet girl.

We moved here from out of state about a month ago and we love this vet office. They’re super fairly priced and they won’t overcharge you when something is not needed. An example is when we came in bc our puppy had a cough, they didn’t need to do a chest X-ray ($400+) because all his other tests came back good. They answer all our questions fully and our guy always leaves in a good mood. They also always call the next day to see how he’s doing and if everything is okay, which is another reason I love this vet.

We love uptown vet! My last dog was diagnosed wrong 3 times at long animal hospital and ended up passing away because of this. When I got my new puppy I was determined to find the best vet. I asked around to people who I trusted their options when it comes to their dog and uptown vet was highly recommended. They showed so much love to me when I brought my new puppy in. Now that my dog Fairbanks is older they still remember him and show him the same love as when he was a puppy! Highly recommend!!

This office is my Christmas Miracle! The office staff are amazing. Laura, the vet tech, is so empathetic and knowledgeable. Our visit was squeezed in with little notice, and they did a thorough job. Above and beyond. I highly recommend this office. Excellent with both cats and dogs. Health Certificates for travel. Uptown Vet Hospital should be your first call if you need travel documents for your fur babies. I will furever be grateful for their superstar service.

I have been going to Uptown Veterinary Hospital for over 3 years. Everyone is always so kind and welcoming of my little cavalier. I trust them with my baby girl completely. They always keep me well informed of her care and give me follow up calls which really shows their level of care. I also love that they have a diverse staff, it's nice to see that they are socially conscious and value Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

We just started taking our Mini Goldendoodle Charlie to Uptown Veterinary Hospital and we couldn’t be more satisfied with our experience. Dr. Jen went above and beyond to make Charlie feel comfortable. She spent more than 20mins on the phone with me discussing Charlie’s visit and taking time to address all my concerns. I highly recommend Dr. Jen and Uptown Vet. The staff is friendly and well organized. Dr. Jen is knowledgeable, kind, and compassionate. They are very upfront with pricing and try to offer alternatives to alleviate budget concerns. I’ve had dogs for more than 30 years and lived in several different states and I’ve never had a better all around experience and care for my dog than Uptown Vet.

The entire staff at Uptown Veterinary Hospital are exceptional! They took terrific care of my puppy during her first check-up, thoroughly answered my questions, and spent thoughtful time making recommendations for her ongoing care. This is my first vet experience since relocating to Charlotte and I’m so grateful to have found such a wonderful team to care for my little Rumi!

I wish I could give 5 stars because I love this place and their staff.. the only downside is it's on the spendy side.. but in their defense, they ALWAYS give you the proce upfront before they do anything. If you opt out of something, they never make you feel bad about it. And they obviously love what they do and they love all their patients and their parents/gaurdians.

Uptown Vet is the best!! My dog has major anxiety and Dr. Jen has been so patient and helpful with him every visit. The entire staff is so accommodating and understanding, making it as easy on my dog and me as possible. I moved about 30 minutes away from uptown but I continue to go back there because of how amazing they have been. I will never go anywhere else!

Everyone was very kind and helpful. They explained pricing of everything upfront. The vet and techs were so respectful of my cat and didn't do anything they thought would stress her out. Tests came back within 48 hours and the vet took time to explain results and treatments throughly. Pricing was fair and the hours are great to accommodate work schedules.

Very professional service and care handling our cat who is a terrible patient but needed a check up after progressively poor adjustment to new kitten in the/her house. Thought maybe kitten got her sick. Blood and worm test came back negative quick. No physical issues. Just depression. Feeling/acting normal again now. Thx doc.

The ONLY vet facility where my dog doesn’t tremble as we walk inside. Seriously. This tells me that they handle him with great care when taking him to parts of the facility that aren't for the general public. They also explain in advance all charges to ensure that you're comfortable with the costs. Dog and I are happy here!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! The office was immaculate, every person I interacted with was so sweet, they were incredible with my dog and I felt no pressure to purchase optional treatments or products. This is an amazing vet! We moved further away and have tried other vets but no one can compare. Dr. Jen is amazing, she is compassionate, detailed and explains everything breaking it down into terms we can understand. Unfortunately we had to put our pet down and she made us feel as best as we could throughout the process.

The entire team at Uptown is phenomenal! My cats are handling exams so much better there than anywhere in the past. They are excellent with cats. Very kind and calm staff and they spend as much time with me as I need. I never feel rushed and all my questions get answered. Highly recommend!

I cannot even say how easy it was just to get an appointment when my dog was bit by another dog. Dr. Jen is amazing and the staff there is unbelievable!!!! I totally recommend bringing your dog there if you live uptown or anywhere in Charlotte.

I’ve been taking my dogs to this location for the past 5 years. They really care and always make sure I’m ok with everything they gonna do and they always show me an estimate of everything before they even do anything. Parking is easy.

The best vet practice we have ever used! From the front desk staff, techs and MDs, the team is always friendly and professional. They have always worked to get us in quickly if needed and follow up on every visit to check on our pup.

We found uptown partly by accident, but have loved coming to Dr Becker from the last year. She has always been amazing, and we love that there is occasional Saturday availability too! Met Dr Greg last time and he was great as well.

Dr. Jen is PHENOMENAL. I ask a million questions about any changes in my dog’s care and Dr. Jen took all the time necessary to ease every concern. The front desk staff are kind and patient. The service and care here is top tier.
