**this is a review for their online store** I have ordered from Urban Outfitters numerous times, and more often than not, they package everything in plastic pouches. This has caused items in previous orders to get damaged and broken but I have never complained. This recent order however, was absolutely unacceptable. I reached into the package and to my surprise, there was blue ink covered on all the items, my hands and my pants. Not only were all the items ruined with this blue ink due to its poor shipping packaging, a mug in the order was also shattered. If the items were sent in a box as they should have, this whole situation could have been avoided. Not only was the items in the shipment ruined, they emailed me previously saying that an item I ordered was not in stock anymore. I sent an email with photos 14 days ago, to 2 different customer service emails with no response. 9 days ago, I called customer service to complain since I did not receive any email response. The lady who served me merely said sorry, and that they would reorder all the items on my card and refund the items that have been damaged. These items were all christmas gifts and it's been 9 days with no order confirmation email. At this point, I do not even want the items anymore and will be looking elsewhere for christmas gifts. Horrible customer service with no communication skills.

Zero if I can choose. Well, I just experiment the worst customer service. And as a matter of fact, they even worse than Walmart and Canadian Tire. I am not saying they are bad by the time I want to buy the staff from them but when it comes to RETURN, then they can be really mean. The cashier just lost her smile and act like I was kill someone she loved when I said I want to return the dress. What the hell, I have to spend more than 30 mins all the way to go to downtown to return an unwanted dress then you just give me the face. Come on, that is what CUSTOMER SERVICE for. And it is not like I returned it few weeks after, I had try my best to squeeze time to return as soon as possible. Leave it to others to try it on. All in all, I may just never wanna come back. PS: the quality of the cloth does not match the price totally. High price of the cloth, and disappointing quality in total. Reconsider it when you want to buy anything from them.

My experience is based on shopping in the men's section. Prices are expensive for the merchandise they offer. $20+ graphic t-shirts and overpriced in-house branded apparel don't make Urban Outfitters an attractive place to shop. The men's section is significantly smaller compared to its ladies offering, and few brands stick out. Men's shoes have been reduced to a handful of brands and styles, and what they do offer is just OK. Sales aren't what they used to be, consisting of mostly in-house merchandise. You'd have to look through everything to find something worth noting, and discounts aren't as amazing as they were. Great for youth and anyone into street style, but if you want more mature, quality brands go elsewhere.

If UO poorly packages your order and ships it broken and damaged (no fault of the courier), the customer will still be on the hook for the original shipping costs when the item is returned (even when returning in-person). Losing almost 35% of the invoiced amount due to something that was the fault of UO with no recourse is a terrible way to punish your customers for no reason. 3 star rating given because staff are wonderful in person and there are always good deals and in-store shopping experiences (due to great store layout). Please alter your return policy to ensure you’re not punishing customers for the scenario that I found myself in yesterday. I’m sure it’s quite common!

I've worked for this company in the past and I have nothing but bad things to say. First off the managers don't really care about their employees, hence why it is UNDERSTAFFED and always seems like it takes forever to get the help you need. The prices that they charge for products that are not even original nor of decent quality are just outrageous. They expect their staff to work for such little pay and give such little hours. I would not recommend this company for anyone to work for, especially such an unorganized location as this one.

4 months ago i went to this store location looking for a gift for a close friend whom i work with, i was talking with an employee and told her i was in there looking for a gift and she gave me an appalled look and proceeded to borderline lecture me about the COVID restrictions and how i shouldnt see my friend Miss girl really thought she was the covid police or something. It was really off putting and obnoxious so i dont want to shop there anymore. The clothes are also not great quality. But that employee needed to mind her own buisness.

I used to live in North America, thus very familiar and like Urban Outfitters very much. So this time travel to Vancouver, I searched UO as well. Luckily there is one in downtown Vancouver. Address listed on google is very good. I had no problem finding it. It has been awhile since I visited an actual UO store. However, the familiar setting, and the atmosphere is indie like, and the apparels are pretty and unique. However this time, I couldn't really find anything of my interests. That is actually very strange.

The staff doesn't always seem to know what is available/where things are. One staff member will say one thing, the next another. I don't imagine they receive much training or updates on their stock. They're always hard to find when you need help as well. I've gone to this store multiple times and I've never purchased because it seems so inconsistent, things I may have been interested in last week are long gone and the employees have no idea what the item I describe is or if they're getting more stock.

I ordered a Smoko light online and had it picked up in store. The process was smooth. When I got there they handed me the bag with the product inside, and I happily went home. I opened up the bag to find a product that was clearly opened before. The packaging is ripped apart and shouldn't even be on the shelf for sale. The fact that they didn't inform me before I went home was very disappointing. They could have picked up another one for me as the online store states there's tons in stock.

Urban Outfitters is always up-to-date with regards to the latest fashion trends for the younger set. Outerwear, jeans, shoes, and jewelry displays are constantly being switched to showcase seasonal offerings, and this has turned the chain into a destination. Staff is friendly and efficient, and usually available to help you out. Price range is accessible, quality is decent. Be sure to check out their clearance section, where sometimes great deals can be found.

Located in downtown Vancouver, this store has a lot of trendy jeans, crop tops, baddy sweaters and more! They even have a small section where you can buy household items! I absolutely loved some of the scrunchies I found here. Loved some of their lavender coloured clothing items! The employees are very helpful. They have self check out options!

I like this store. They've always been respectful when other stores on granville have their employees follow you around like your steeling. They always have great prices on their clearance stuff which could be anything they sell but at the end of its run. NorthFace Jackets, Kappa stuff, Guess shirts got all for below clearance prices

Staff went above and beyond with helping me find an out fit for a last minute party I got invited too.tgat was so incredibly helpful ,so thank you for all your hard work while helping me please share that with your staff as they deserve to hear feedback that should make you proud as managers for hiring these individuals!!

Hard to walk out of here empty handed. However, compared to my last visit here in 2016 the books section needs more. Not enough merchandise and not as interesting this time round. Staff friendly. Happy. I appreciate that a lot. Lovely space. Some cool clothes. Eclectic collection. Central downtown Vancouver location.

Chelsea gave me the best customer service EVER! So incredibly kind and made me feel so comfortable shopping. Super attentive and so so so lovely. The place was super busy but Chelsea still made the effort to talk to me and make sure I was okay. Lovely person and will gladly come back to this store because of them!

2 storefronts a separate men's and women's side. They usually have a good selection of lomography and instax camera's. The instax film is 2X's the price that you would pay at a local drugstore. They have a good selection of vintage T-shirts for men and sometimes you can get deal on their Vans skateshoes.

Wow what a weird selection of fashion at this location. Felt I was at the worst thrift store where everything is too big and ridiculously ugly. The staff were very helpful however. And I did find a couple items that I like. Seriously though I usually find a lot to like at UO but not at this one.

I can always find cute items/clothing here no problem! They carry products at a variety of prices which is great also. I've had a mix of service but they're generally pretty good (they don't pester you/they're knowledgeable/sometimes it seems understaffed though so it's hard to find someone).

I was purchasing an expensive jacket and while I was doing so this very rude worker who was suppose to be ringing up my item chose to be on his phone and take 5. It took me a near 10 minutes to purchase my item. The man looked as if he had no remorse nor care for his job. Not impressed

A big urban outfitters store in a great location. You will love the layout of the store which is spacious and two levels. I think the women's section is much more larger than the men's and there are also a great range of gifts. If you like the style you won't be disappointed!

Nice selection of products, but I had a poor experience as the workers selectively follow people of colour and will send security to follow. My girlfriend and I shop at Urban Outfitters often but do not feel comfortable or support a store that treats shoppers this way.

5 stars for Lorraine. Her customer service was fantastic. Was over the top helpful. Really appreciated her & all her help. Unfortunately they really ĺhad nothing for her to work with. ( meaning the stock was low) Really disappointing for a store of this size.

Staff on a Sunday morning so vibrant happy. Totally sets the atmosphere. Came in here with my girls and toddler. The patience and pleasantness made us shop even longer. Love this place. My teenager loves the clothes and my little girl likes the accessories.

Very interesting and hipster clothings. You find the most unexpected items there. The time I went there, I bought an Atari - I didn't know you could still buy those. I'd say their products are asthetically pleasing and make you stand out in a crowd.

Love the store. You can find so many variety of everything. However only down side is dont look online and expect to find the same color. Nothing is ever what it looks like online they play with lot of light and colors when they take pictures.

The dressing room was an absolutely disgusting scene. Clothes piled high on top of the counter, falling onto a pile starting on the floor. The little girl helping us lost the keys to the rooms twice and had to call for 2 other girls to come

I find this location to be overwhelming and always busy. The store itself is fairly large with good variety but I haven't had much luck shopping here. The record players also seem to be retailing at a higher price compared to tech stores.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, multiple people complimented me. I found lots of cool things and even though it was quite expensive and the atmosphere was a little intimidating, the people working made me feel a lot better.

Good selection of sale items, but the men's side changing room is never open, even when the women's side is full. Also it's a little annoying to grab mens clothing and walk all the way over to the women's changing rooms.

One cashier available with a long line and the lady at register asking lengthy questions holding up the existing long line even more. No acknowledgement or apologies for not attending to the long wait.

Huge selection of clothes at this location. it has 3 levels. the quality of the clothes are high though and last quite a while, so it compensates for it being a little pricey. good customer service

Always my favorite store. This is one of the better locations. The staff are great and I love the variety they serve here. Great place to shop for your unique and vintage/hipster inspired fashion.

Poor selection compared to the Urban Outfitters in the US. Prices are OK, depending on what you are looking, but in my opinion the store could be fit in space half as big as the current one.

It's alright, good store for unique gifts and clothing if you like vintage style. It's a good place to go to window shop and then buy the products online because they are a bit overpriced.

Usually fairly clean, with a good collection of clothing. Staff here are fantastic, Had an issue with a Polaroid camera and they were able to replace both the camera and film I purchased

Found couple interesting items such as THC board game. Sounds stupid but you’ll likely to find “unusual items” over this place. Staffs were helpful and not messy like other UO stores.

The employers were friendly and helpful and the sales were decent. However, the woman helping me in the fitting room accidentally unlocked my room and almost let someone else in.

Urban outfitters has really good clothes right now. The downtown location is really nice. They manage to do a lot with a relatively small space. The staff here are friendly.

It's not as good as the stores from Brussels or Amsterdam. I always go there and don't find anything interesting. Their online store is better with many more options.

Lots of cheesy almost dollar store novelty items, and some overpriced clothes. They do have a good selection of vinyl records and a few other interesting Knickknacks

The mens section looks to be in another building but theres no direct entrance. You have to enter through the main entrance!
