Nothing but amazing things to say about this place! I initially contacted them on Facebook to inquire if they did milia extractions. I received a response in less than 24 hours. They answered all my questions quickly and were able to book me in for appointments at times that worked for me. I saw Michelle for the milia extractions. She was so nice and professional. I was embarrassed and worried about judgement over my skin, there was no judgement at all. She just genuinely wanted to help! She made me feel very comfortable and welcome. The extractions were quick, and she was able to provide me with lots of advice and products afterwards. I will say, the products are very pricey, but she wasn't pushy about it. My skin looks SO much better now with all the milia gone! It was hard finding a place in Winnipeg that did milia extractions, contacted many places before I found this one. Great experience all around, would 100% recommend. Also they have really cool products to browse in their little shopping area!

I've been going to Urban Retreat for close to 15 years now and I continue to be amazed at the quality of service I receive at each appointment. While the business has grown quite a bit over the years, Michelle and her staff still offer a very personalized experience and I wouldn't trust my skin with anyone else. One aspect that I truly appreciate is how I could see any staff member at Urban Retreat and know that I'm in good hands. I recently started to see Elis and her passion for skin care is admirable - she is so educated/knowledgeable in advanced treatment options that I feel completely comfortable letting her do whatever she thinks I need at each appointment. Urban Retreat is without a doubt a 5-star business - outstanding customer service, high-quality treatment options, and excellent product selection. The bonus are the staff who are all genuinely passionate about skin care. Love this place!

I went to see Elis from Urban Retreat Derma Spa on a recommendation from a friend. I was having issues with using products and services that were suppose to be combating my skin issues, but not seeing any results. She said that Elis could me help with my skin needs and advise as to what my skin actually needs for it to improve. I booked a Regenerative Hydrafacial with Elis and my skin went from problematic to clean and clear! I've kept up with her advice and recommendations for my skin and have seen major results! I've even been getting compliments on my glowing skin. Elis is an expert at what she does and by far the most educated/professional medical aesthetician I've been too. I’ve been working with Elis at Urban Retreat for aerolase acne treatments for 2 months and my acne is almost entirely gone! She has recommended fantastic skin care products, derma planing once my acne bumps had settled, and she tints and waxes brows like a pro! I cannot understand why urban derman retreat has only 4.7 stars it should have a whole five My experience: I was friendly greeted over the phone by Cassandra (brown hair can't miss her bc of her huge personality ) she is a great person and knows how to make someone feel comfortable and welcomed. I’m 26, I’ve never been for a facial ever and I’m terrible with skincare routines. My sisters got me a gift certificate for Urban Retreat Derma Spa for my birthday and I got a HydraFacial treatment. I have sensitive skin and a few white/black heads but no acne in general. I booked with Cassandra who did an amazing job!! Not only did the facial leave me cleansed, refreshed and very moisturized but Cassandra made the experience 10x better. Her uplifting personality and humour made the experience one to remember. I was enticed to urban retreat Derma spa by how nice and inviting they were over the phone and the staff that work here are truly just as amazing in person. I currently see Cassandra for aerolase hair removal and she is so kind and considerate. She takes her time and doesn’t make you feel rushed or like you are just a job. She truly wants you to have the best result. My hair growth has reduced at least 90% since starting. It’s not cheap, but the spa has packages you can buy to get a deal. If you have ingrowns, it is WORTH it. Trust me. Go see Cassandra. I also saw Aynsley for IPL hair removal and she was incredible as well, but she has since moved on, I just had to give her a shoutout. ❤️

I’m a 15 year old girl, i’ve had acne all over my face for the past couple years. I tried everything from face cleansers to prescription creams and nothing worked. Then i heard about the Aerolase acne treatment. I was sceptical at first but my mom encouraged me to try it and took me for one treatment. It was painless. Michelle was gentle and was very knowledgeable. The treatment took about a hour and there was no down time. It took about 2 days to see the full effect and it was incredible.
