Avoid Harriet. She is unprofessional, rude and just out of order. We’ve been taking our dog to urban paws since last year with another groomer, which unfortunately had to leave, never had any issues. I took my dog in once with a knotty tail and she threatened to shave his tail if i didn’t sort the knots out myself before bringing him in. She did a messy job of his ears which i mentioned at the next appointment and asked for her to do better this time which was met with instant attitude and she mad us feel unwelcomed because of it. When we came to pick him up she just passed him to me and didn’t talk, just asked for payment, when i asked when to rebook she said she will no longer with working with my dog as apparently im never happy.. all i said was you did his ears wrong.. she cant take criticism. She said she cant handle him as she has difficulty cutting his face. As a dog groomer she shouldn’t be working in this industry if she cant even handle one bad comment without getting defensive and binning off a client. If you’re planning on taking your dog somewhere where you cant say anything bad to the groomer, this is definitely the place for you.

I can’t recommend this place enough!! They went above and beyond to make sure my slightly somewhat demanding needs were met where possible! From the moment you walk in you can tell that Riley and his team love their work and have so much care and affection for the dogs. After previously having an awful first groom for my pup I figured I’d just never like how she looked. Both Reilly and Kev took the time to work out what we did and didn’t like and how best to achieve what we wanted. They were so upfront and honest about what could and couldn’t be achieved and it’s safe to say they exceeded my every expectation. I will never be going anywhere else!

Molly is a regular at Urban Paw and although shes not keen on a bath she has a lovely time getting pampered and playing with other dogs in an open open rather than a crate wish most groomers use. Reilly really takes care of her and treats her very gently as shes not the easiest dog. She always comes out looking like a show dog. I cant rate them enough they always make me feel so welcome when I pop in regularly for her favourite treats. I would highly recommend them esp my fav Reilly although all are equally talented and lovely. Thanks from Julia and molly x

So worth the wait for an outstanding groomer! I had difficulties finding a groomer that met my expectations. Different cities -no luck. I was eager to get my dog groomed. However, super pleased that I was patient in finding a groomer! This place far exceeded my expectations. Holy cow! The best groomers in town! My dog was also relaxed when I arrived which Is a great sign! The other dogs looked so relaxed too. They also have great dog treats. This really cheered me up today!! Thanks so much!!

Take both our chi and pug to see Reilly and the team, always super friendly and treat our dogs like family. The last visit our Pug had the Animal Ayurveda treatment, his coat is so smooth and silky now and it's really cut his shedding down. Great to see new products and treatments become available at the groomers that aren't just gimmicks! The chi always gets a de-shed and cut and leaves looking like a new little man every time! Amazing service, will continue to be a loyal customer!

My dog is very wary of new places and people, but the warm welcome we received at Urban Paw Grooming allowed me to leave her there for a full pamper without any worries. When I went to collect her, I walked in to find her curled up on the floor having snuggling with one of the groomers, so immediately knew that she had settled in just fine. Reilly did a fantastic job, and Eva came away looking stunning, and will now hopefully leave fewer hairs all over me when she has cuddles!

I have a 4 year old Lakeland Terrier called Bobby and have been taking him to Urbanpaw for the last few years. He is a nervous dog and being a Lakeland has an unusual cut but Reilly and Tom know what they are doing and always do a great job. They don't cage dry and they always check for matted hair and agree the cut before taking Bobby away so I know they have his welfare in hand. Plus they are super friendly and sell a great range of handmade collars & leads.

Absolutely fantastic place - Livvy loves the range of organic treats and chews and the indie vibe is definitely a cut above a chain groom. Friendly and professional staff and Livvy had a ball both before, during and after her cut playing with the other pooch clients - all of whom if hey are friendly get to play with each other rather than being caged until you pick them up. Love love love and the groom looked fab too! ❤️

Highly recommend urban paw!! Our Shihtzu Olive has come here 3 times and each time she leaves a happy and clean dog! The staff are so lovely and do exactly what your dog needs to make the experience as calm and enjoyable for them! Also super easy to get in contact with to make your booking. LOVE LOVE LOVE! I can honestly say that this was the first time 5 years that I picked my dog up from a groomers where he was happy and smiling(yes, my dog smiles). Usually when we get home from other grooming appointments he's not himself for days and is down in the dumps. He came home so happy and playful. We love Urbanpaw! From her puppy socialisation grooming session to her bi-yearly grooms, she always comes out looking gorgeous. Skye has recently had a full groom with Harriet, from trimming the hair under her ears (that always get knotty) to giving her teeth a good scrub she did a wonderful job. Plus they are always so helpful giving you advice on pup groom care.

SUPAWHEOEROS - after an horrendous experience with another local groomer, Urban Paw saved the day! When I arrived I was so anxious but the guys were so lovely and reassured me everything would be fine and they could fix the botch job my poor dog had recieved. They were so professional and definitely know what they’re doing. I really couldn’t recommend them enough!

Great place to take your dog good prices and a good set up clean and professional set up inside great communications wont rip you off and really take pride in what they do and look after your dog and will put your dog first rather then make a few quid out of it eg advised us not to come in and change the date as it was to hot for the dogs wouldn’t go anywhere else

Just THE best dog grooming experience EVER .Riley took the time to explain , demonstrate and deliver the BEST face trim ...all knots patiently brushed out , ears sorted ..inside and out , lovely fringe cut ...Nellie can now SEE . Even though the groomers was closed for a refurb , he welcomed us in and worked his magic.Absolutely cannot recommend Urbanpaw enough

Had my 2 yorkies Maxwell and Emily groomed here a few months back, they are usually really nervous dogs but I was surprised to come back and find them so calm and playing together!! I've now moved to portugal, and i havent found one as good as this one! They also looked and smelled lovely! Would definetely recommend Urban paws to anyone! Well done guys

Amazing place and fantastic people! I visited with my red lab Dixie and was touched by Reilly's kindness and generosity. Dixie was anxious and I had to put her back to the car to calm down. Really great bath trim and de shed for my chorkie puppy bruno! He was so fidgety and excitable but the lovely groomer was very gentle patient and calm with him which soothed him a little bit for his first hair cut! He looks amazing and had the full works for a really reasonable cost too! Thank you will be back :)

The service I have received from this dog salon. has been fantastic. I unfortunately had to cancel the appointment but I will definitely be using them in the future. This is the only dog groomers that I would use. The owner, Riley, always cuts exactly as I ask and him and his staff are always friendly and show a great deal of care and gentleness towards the dogs that they groom. I have recommended them to friends and they would all agree with me.

AMAZING! The sweetest owner and staff who were all so kind and compassionate to my anxious springer Jack. It was his first time being groomed, but they took his worried energy in their stride and didn't make a big deal of it. Highly recommend. Thanks so much xx

Excellent. This is the first time my dog has been professionally groomed. When I collected her she looked great and was her usual happy self. My request for the degree of trim was carried out well. Great service, well done, will definitely be back.

Second visit and just like the first trip we have one extremely happy, pampered, groomed and most importantly beautifully smelling pug. Really friendly staff and so accommodating to your wishes,they really treat our dog like a member of the family.
