The food was tasty-however….Not the best experience…I think these guys won’t survive if they don’t get their act together. Waited 20 minutes to get served when there was only 2 other tables seated at the restaurant, then the food took another 40 minutes, arrived lukewarm. 5 of us at the table but given 4 papadams. They serve food on plastic/melamine plates-like fancy picnic ware. The serves were quite small despite $20 for a main. Ambience is cold (we were freezing) stark, no soft furnishings or warmth about the place. The tables and cutlery had visible streaks. I’m not sure if very clean. It takes a lot more to run a successful restaurant than to just know how to cook for your family guys. Ppl pay good money to go out for dinner these days so you need to do better.

Went for dinner on Sunday at 7, when we arrived and ordered for takeaway, we were told to come after 30 minutes. We went in after 40 minutes and yet had to wait another 10 minutes. We ordered Sahi Bhalle( which was good) chicken noodles(wouldn't recommend) , chicken 65 ( also wouldn't recommend it as it was way too soggy and bland). In spite of mentioning to make it spicy as we are Indians and prefer spicy, or was bland. We haven't tried Indian food yet will go back soon to see, but definitely not getting indo-chinese again. Hotel owner/ manager if you are reading this, I'd suggest you up your game as there are really some amazing restaurants in Sunbury if you don't want to go out of business.

Amazing hospitality and great food. Sunbury needed restaurant like Ustaad G. Started with snacks which included Pani Puri (best I had in Melbourne) Paneer tikka was great, talking about the main course we ordered shahi Paneer, Daal Takda both were so yummy. My daughter really liked Shahi Paneer, being a fussy eater she gave a green signal and would want to go Ustaad G more for Paneer . You guys are doing a really good job, keep up the good work.

Best of the best food is so delicious. Went for dinner last night. Ordered paneer pakora, pav bhaji, malayi paneer, fish curry. All of them were so tasty. Worth going there. Would recommend Pav Bhaji the most , “fatte chak te Ustaad g” have tried other places but nothing like this one wahi flavour….. and they didn’t mashed up the bhaji like others do. a very big portion also. Would definitely order again. It’s on my hit list now. good ambiance for quite dinner in restaurant, could be better if they put some life like plants or something that’s just my opinion. Otherwise Good seating, happy with food. Will do visit again.

We did a catering service(dinner) for my son’s birthday. The food was incredibly delicious. Each & everyone at the party commented on the food. Every dish complimented each other & it was really hard to choose one specifically. The chilli chicken, geera rice, butter chicken & rasamslai is a must try. My wife and I had the pleasure of dining here this evening, I felt very welcomed. Each dish had it's own unique combination of flavours to work through and every bite made me excited for the next. We ordered tonight after everyone in town had hyped this place up. The breads were very good. Both the mains we ordered were terribly bland, and the rice wasn't the best either. My partner had ordered online which gave an hour until pickup time. When he went to pickup the food, the order had been forgotten by staff so he had to wait longer. So after all the hype, we found it really disappointing I'm afraid.

Found out there was a new Indian Restaurant in Sunbury that was doing all you can eat buffets for less than $20 and my initial thought was that the quality must be really bad at that price. Heard nothing but good things about the place so I decided to give it a go and it was Amazing. Friendly staff and the food was delicious. Highly recommended!
