Kyara helped us buy our first home and made the process feel so easy. Firstly, Kyara had flawless English. Kyara was very honest and straightforward with her advice, while also being very friendly and charming to work with. Thankfully we found our ideal home very quickly, though the process of buying was complex due to the seller’s situation. Kyara really did the legwork required to gather the information we needed to make an informed choice. We felt very supported the entire time. we regularly needed to be in contact with Kyara in order to organize things, and we were happy with how responsive she always was. We never felt pressured to buy a specific property. We had many questions throughout the purchase and was never made to feel like we had too many questions. As an expat moving to the Hague, I contacted many real estate agencies from abroad to find a suitable apartment in a short time-frame. Out of all the real estate agencies, VERRA Makelaars Den Haag, was the best. In particular, Joshua and Roel were of immense help and played a critical role in facilitating a smooth process to find and rent an apartment. Joshua and Roel were highly professional, friendly, always responded promptly, and informed me well about the relevant rules and regulations in The Hague. In a highly competitive housing market, many of the other real estate agencies I spoke to, did not bother to respond to me or help me, as there are over 200 applications per apartment. We needed to find an apartment in a competitive rental market in The Hague on a quick time schedule. We began working with VERRA with what appeared to be few workable options for a one year lease and suddenly lots more opened up! Not recommended for individuals, they work better for corporate clients who hire international expats. Extremely disappointed from the level of communication, after meeting with them and explaining my needs and criteria, and of course following up by email, they didn’t even bother themselves to get back to me. As a professional company, at least they should apologize if they have enough customers or ask me to change my search criteria to meet the market.
