(Sorry, Long Post ☺️) We have seen Dr. Miller multiple times since the day before Christmas Eve. Sadly it has been an absolutely stressful crazy time for our 3 pups. My littlest Chihuahua, Papi had a case of coccidiosis (intestinal parasite) and Dr. Miller and the Vo Vets team got us in for an appointment right away to get him taken care of. Without pet insurance, taking care of your sick fur babies can be a very expensive stressful time. The testing and medications that we had to get for all 3 pups was a lot for me to finance. They prescribed them antibiotics and even threw in some “treats” to help my pup take the liquid meds. For my other dog Lola, they allowed us to save on her evaluation as she needed antibiotics too due to exposure and hadn’t been seen yet which was so incredible for them to do for us as it already costed so much for him & the other pup. A week later after the medication was done, we discovered fleas on our pups so we had to spend more to get them on the preventative and capstar for treatment. Once that was settled, then my poor Lola woke up one morning with a bad eye infection where her eye was unable to open due to the discharge so I had to take her back in for help. That same morning my little chihuahua Papi had started to show symptoms for the parasite again and Vo Vets and Doctor Miller were so incredibly supportive, caring and understanding about the financial stress this can cause. Dr. Miller took the time to really connect and educate my boyfriend and I about the best course of action with complete compassion. Despite the initial recommended testing options presented for the eye infection, Dr Miller was able to lay it out for me and explain his top priority picks for testing for the sake of cost and having to do another fecal test for Papi. Dr Miller saw my worry about the cost of her eye visit and the meds associated and without prompt discounted the cost of her evaluation. We cannot recommend this vet more, not to mention the amount of times I have called them with additional care questions, and each time they have given their all to answer them. Dr. V is amazing and has a great sense of humor as well since we saw her once during this time too. We will be getting pet insurance so we can cover upcoming bills since the financing help they have given us is nothing to expect and they deserve the most for their services. Thank you Vo Vets and Dr. Miller again for being the absolute best and helping us care for our littles! Words can’t express how thankful we are.

My geriatric cat had been declining and had stopped eating. He had numerous health issues that were long term. It was his time to go, which was an incredibly difficult decision to make. His regular specialist was down near Benbrook and I knew I wouldn't be able to drive 35W in the state I was in. Several neighbors had great things to say about VO, so I called. They got me in immediately and were attentive to my pain. They did and end of life exam on Buddy and were so gentle with his fragile body. They explained everything they were doing and talked calmly to Buddy as they did it. We went through the options for cremation, urns, and they said they could do a fur clipping since it wasn't listed on the cremation services package. Then, they gave me time to say my final goodbyes privately before coming in to do the euthanasia. I was able to hold his paw and the vet explained each step and humanely ended his suffering. This was an incredibly difficult time for me and everyone was calm and understanding. Buddy was at least 20 years old, having lived with me for 18 of those years. He had been through a lot medically with diabetes, ketoacidosis, hyperthyroidism, pancreatitis, CHF, HCM, and even had a cancerous mass on his paw removed. He was a good boy that just was tired. He lived 6 years longer than we expected, but he showed me he just couldn't go on. So, thank you to VO Vets for being there at the very saddest time for me. Your compassion, professionalism, and explanation of each step through the process made the decision less difficult to bear. I miss my "Little Man," but you gave him a gentle journey into peace. Thank you.

I updated my review from 3 to 4 stars. Office manager Candice called as well as Russell Miller. They both apologized, listened to my concerns and were truly sorry about what happened. What I was told is that this is not how they deal with the loss of a loved animal at all. There are usually procedures as well as nice boxes available in those situations. Nobody is sure on what happened with my cat but it will be addressed. Even though it won't change my experience, I am grateful that somebody reached out and this will not happen to anybody else. I took my cat to VO vets not too long ago for some issues. Unfortunately I had to say bye to him. The staff and doctors were amazing, very compassionate and gave me all the time I needed to say bye. The reason I gave 3 stars instead of 5 was how it all ended. I held my boy wrapped in his blanket until it was all over, when I was ready I rang the bell for them to come get them to take the catheter out. I expected for him to come back in his blanket, I had his carrier with me and I was going to wrap him up, put him back in there to take him home. He was brought back to me in a Amazon shipping box, labels still on. It shook me. My cat was our family member for 10 years and to see him put in a Amazon box rattled me a little. I would think there is a better way to bring these guys back to their families than a box that was found in some corner. His blanket was missing but I couldn't even say anything at that point. Please try to maybe get some nicer boxes or maybe talk to the pet owners on how they would like to bring their pets home before putting them in a Amazon box.

If you are looking for quality care and a veterinarian that will go above and beyond to make sure your pets are getting THE BEST care possible then this is the place you need to go. My dogs are like my kids and I only want the best for them, which means I don't trust just anyone to take care of them. My dog recently required emergency surgery because he decided to eat a cardboard box. News like this is not something anyone wants to hear, but Dr. Miller sat me down and was very kind but also straight forward with what was going on. He took the time to explain the situation and what that meant for me and my dog. He also took the time to explain what would be happening next in order to help me make the most educated decision in regards to how I wanted to proceed with my dogs care. He ended up doing surgery on my dog in order to save his life and I can assure you my dog was in the best possible hands he could be and I knew if anyone could get the job done it was Dr. Miller. The surgery went well and my dog is making a full recovery. Dr. Miller is compassionate, kind and will always take the time to explain what is going so it is crystal clear. I know my pets are in safe hands whenever they are under Dr. Miller's care. If you are looking for a veterinarian you can trust I recommend any practice Dr. Miller is at. He is the best!

I took a guinea pig here last month on a Sunday. They were able to quickly get me in which I was grateful for. I chose this place because the site and Facebook advertised both doctors as being knowledgeable with exotics. There is an April 22 FB post stating: "Our veterinarians are highly experienced in the field of avians and exotic species. We see all types of pets ranging from birds to reptiles and small mammals." I don't recall the male doctor's name, but one of the first things he said to me upon coming into the room was roughly I'm not an exotics doctor. The doctor who sees exotics was off. That set very wrong with me and I was concerned, but given was pig was there for an ear issue and nothing more extreme like GI stasis, I decided to move on with care. My request is that the clinic be more transparent. The receptionist got me booked in and never stated seeing a gpig may be an issue. None of the techs said anything either. I shouldn't have to wait til I see the doctor to suddenly hear something like that. If we had been seen for a more severe gig-specific problem and not a simple ear issue, I hate to think of what sort of outcome my kiddo would have. As for other aspects - pricing, getting me in quickly, etc - everything was okay on that end.

Dr. Miller and the entire staff at VO Vets are easily the best and most attentive vet care I have ever received from anywhere over the years. One of the only places where I have felt truly listened to, as well as having each and every concern of mine addressed about my pets. I would highly recommend this place to anybody looking for quality care and friendly workers!! I originally received EXTREMELY subpar care from an emergency animal hospital that I won’t name here, but when I began having additional concerns about her seemingly declining health and condition that were completely ignored, Dr. Miller instead showed the utmost concern and spared no stops for investigating what was truly going wrong. Turns out our suspicions were correct, and they were able to not only correct the previous clinic’s mistakes, but get my dog to a MUCH better condition while continuing to keep me updated, informed, and educated about everything going on and what they were going to do, instead of the “do everything behind the scenes and bill you later” approach many other places do. They really seem to be on top of both the vet field as a whole and their own personal drives to keep up with best practices and methods of care.

Had a first appointment (based on a friends recommendation) & met with Emily & Dr. Vicario. As soon as we walked in, the front desk (I apologize I didn’t get her name) was friendly & offered not only myself & my wife a drink, but also my sons. When we got to the room, we both remarked how nice & clean the facility was. The doctor & her assistant came in & both were excellent & so patient with my dog, Stassi. Dr. Vicario, was not only very detailed with how she presented my options, but also gave me MULTIPLE & what her recommendations were for training & specific trainer. Emily, not only went above & beyond with helping get me information on medications, but also explained how & when to use them. Will def be back & cannot stress how friendly the entire staff was!

I will not be returning to your clinic for multiple reasons. 1. I was at your clinic for 1 hour and saw the vet for exactly 5 mins 2. My appointment was for 5:00. I was told to arrive 15 mins early, which I did and I waited 45 mins for the vet to enter the room 3. The cost of all items was almost double the cost of my previous vet. Example: The exam was $78.25 and I paid $40 at my other vet. As previously stated I saw the vet for 5 mins and 3 of those minutes were used to give the vaccines, so I paid almost $80 for a 2 minute exam Your vet techs and front office help were pleasant and friendly I would not recommend your clinic due to the cost and the lack of personalize care and I will not refer any friends or family to your clinic

The safety and health concerns of my cat were a priority for the vet and his technician Emily was outstanding in her treatment and care given to our cat. She was very knowledgeable and knew how to make him comfortable in a strange setting. We have 4 cats and this is their new home for any illness or just annual health check ups I would recommend them to anyone who has any type of pet not just dogs and cats. It is so reassuring to find a vet that will take care of any and I mean any type of family member that needs help. We are very lucky to have them in our community to meet all of our needs and one more shout out to Emily for her all of her compassion.

This will be my second review since google doesn’t let me leave a second review without having to make another account, I’ve had to bring in 2 cats now due to a viral infection going on around the house, each visit I’ve had financial difficulties due to death of a loved one, Dr.miller and his staff have always been very understanding and helped manage financially. Out the countless vets I’ve been to Vovets has been the most welcoming vet, they’ve helped better understand my animals, I trust them with the lives of my animals , I highly recommend bringing your animals in when needed. Thank you Dr.miller and all staff for the work you guys do.

Dr. Vicario is incredible. Lesley, Emily, and Kayla were amazing. Everybody who answered the phone was sweet and kind as well. With their attentiveness and care, I'll be a repeat customer. This is not a vet who just throws a diagnosis and next steps at you, they take time to build relationship. Even in situations where you may not have all the finances to take care of all the work needed, they are willing to present all possible options and take it one step at a time. There's a reason they have almost 5 stars with all their reviews! If you're looking for a new vet or have never been to one, I highly recommend you check them out.

Doctor Miller and his staff are simply AMAZING. I have a very sick 4 week old puppy and after 3 different visits to 3 different veterinarian places that could not figure out what was going on. Doctor Miller did, he is treating him on a daily basis and he is finally getting better. These people are beyond compassionate and experienced. I'm serious, they really care and know what they're doing. If you want the best for your pet with quality service and attention to detail this is the place you need to go. I am forever grateful to doctor Miller and Elizabeth and their staff . I will say however they are very expensive.

At the time, they were offering 1st visit wave the entry fee of $90 but we were gypped out of that on some ridiculous technicality. Took our dog there for irritated and extremely itchy ears. Turns out after the visit her ears got worse and we had to go to another vet to get a 2nd opinion. She was misdiagnosed by the vet at VO. After we put our little baby on the medication from the new vet, she started getting better in a few days and now the hair is growing back on her ears where she had been scratching. I'm with one of the other one star reviewers. the convenient location doesn't make up for the bad service.

Our family had to make the difficult decision to put our dog down. After losing our family vet earlier this year, I reached out to VO vets to see if they could help us through this process. Dr. Miller and his office were able to accommodate us same day. We were new to the practice, but they treated us like we had always been a part of the family. They made an incredibly difficult day somewhat easier because of the excellent care they provided - to our dog and our family. We will never be able to express how thankful we are for the kindness and compassion they showed us. Thank you Dr. Miller and staff. ❤️

I had the pleasure of working with Dr.Collins for a surgery that was very scary for me and my new rescue dog. I had multiple “freak outs” and he was there each time to reassure me and guide me through the process. The entire teams was so kind and understanding. Our dog is already feeling better and was taken care of amazingly. I can’t recommend this vet office enough. I also had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Miller who was extremely kind and patient. So happy with how everything turned out but more importantly the calm and pastient manner I was dealt with as an overbearing and terrified dog mom .

This was hands down one of the best vet experiences we’ve had. My basset is anxious, and a bit dramatic so when they took her to give her shots and draw blood, we could hear her crying loudly. Dr. Miller came to get us so we could see what they were doing. The transparency meant everything and I was sold at that moment. The staff is kind, and seem to really care about the animals. We are completely comfortable making VO Vets our permanent vet home. As a side note, Dr. Miller is friendly and we enjoyed chatting with him at the end of our visit! Great care and friendly staff, but very expensive compared to other places we have been to in the area. If you need somewhere urgent and convenient to take your pets, then this is a good place to go. Otherwise, I felt like I was in a car dealership being worked on for an up-sell. For routine things like vaccines, dental cleaning, heartworm tests, spay/neuter, etc, then check out the Texas Coalition for Animal Protection (TCAP) and give them a donation if you can - you’ll still have more money left in your pocket than going to VO Vets.

Amazing. I am so beyond thankful and lucky to have found this Vet. The staff are beyond sweet and made me feel that my kitty is so well taken care of. Two days before Christmas and they got me in for an evening appointment before closing no problem. They were very patient and kind with every possible option for treatment and what works best for your family financially and consider your pets needs and yours. Dr Miller is incredible and I have definitely found my forever vet hospital. Don’t think twice. Bring your pets here.

Dr. Miller is the best vet I’ve ever seen. He was so patient and compassionate. He took his time and explained everything very thoroughly. You can tell he loves what he does. He even let me look at the bacteria on the microscope lol. My dog loved him too. She’ll get super loud and anxious if she doesn’t like the vibe, but she was so happy with all of them. They whole staff does well in creating a welcoming and relaxed environment. And they were all so sweet to my doggy. Would definitely recommend this place to anybody. :)

I want to thank the VO Vets staff for being the most compassionate and loving people I’ve ever met. When it came time to put our Grizzly bear down they went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. We struggled to say our goodbyes and not once did they rush us out even though it was closing time. Thank you Dr.Miller and thank you so much to your sweet vet techs. Especially to the tech that went out of her way to get our sweet old man a slice of pizza as his last meal. He enjoyed it very much. ♥️

This is an excellent place to take your pet. They are kind and compassionate. Dr Vicario was great at explaining everything that we needed to know to make the most difficult decision a pet parent ever has to make. They gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye to our baby doggo girl. After substandard care at other vet clinics—I have finally found a permanent clinic to bring my pets — knowing my fur babies are going to get great care from a team that really cares about my pets best welfare.

Our first visit at VO Pets went amazing ! Its very clean , friendly staff and quick services We worked with Technicians Brigette & Dr.Miller, both were an extremely pleasure to worth with . An exam were conducted followed by our babies first vaccination . They also checked for any parasites etc. Which test results came back quickly. They sent home a Treat bag for first time puppies and a brochure with very helpful and useful information and resources . Book here , you will not be disappointed!

I took my two new rescue kittens here for an overall wellness exam and to treat my kitty with stool issues. I was able to make a same day appointment and was seen within a few hours. From the front desk, to the tech, to the vet, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that the visit took a very long time, we were there close to 2.5 hours. But overall, I am very happy about the quality of care and will definitely be back and use for future vet services!

I first met Dr. Miller 2 years ago when he was at Creekside. He took such great care of our furbabies when they were sick. I was so excited when I heard he was starting a general practice. He is compassionate, knowledgeable and takes the time to go over your pets needs. Having been a veterinary technician (now retired) for 18 years, it is important to have a vet I can trust with my senior furbabies. I highly recommend using Dr. Miller and his staff for your pets care.

I followed Dr. Vicario from her previous clinic because she took such good care of my huskies. Very thorough. I have now been seen by her and Dr. Miller. I drive an hour to see them because it’s worth it. My concerns are addressed and they’re both super smart and practical. They work with you to get your pet seen and have super convenient hours. They also are great about returning calls and advocating for your pet if they need to get in with a specialist.

A Very friendly and compassionate work place as well as making my dog feel comfortable. Came in here due to concern on my dog and was given a great explanation on what he has and what needs to be done to reduce complications in the future. The doctor even explains the situation to my family over the phone and was able to work with the office on a budget I had. Extraordinary service from staff as the nurse was able to calm my dog from stress.

Dr. Miller is quite literally the best vet I have had the privilege to use. He is very insightful and very to the point while providing as much detail as possible to assist in my pet’s well being. He is willing to slow down and explain the situation at hand and provide step by step instructions on what I can do to make my pet as happy as can be. I’d highly suggest VO Vets. Cannot provide more accolades for Dr. Miller and his staff.

I found VO Vets after trying to find where Dr Vicario went. She is a fantastic doctor and I also just saw Dr. Miller for the first time today and he is wonderful as well! The staff is super warm and kind towards my dogs and I love that they put you in a room immediately so your dog doesn’t get stressed in the waiting room. I drive 40 min just to come here for my more serious concerns. :)

Dr. V is very compassionate, caring, kind and incredibly knowledgeable! My little fur baby had to be put down and she found a way to bring light into a very sad time. As long as I have animals I will always use VO Vets as my clinic. The other Drs are amazing as well. And May I mention Emily. She is our favorite tech. She is so genuine and loving. Thank you both for your awesomeness!!

VO Vets have been awesome for our us and our three dogs. They are convenient to get to and the staff and vets are all thoughtful, kind and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. 2 of ours are old guys (15 and 16) and we couldn’t ask for a better vet to care for them as they deal with everything that comes with being older. I can unreservedly give VO Vets my full confidence.

Dr. Russell Miller was fantastic with my dog and taking care of him for the issue he was facing! And gave me really great tips on how to help my dog in the future and help correct a few behavioral issues we have been facing! Overall fantastic service from the entire staff they definitely made me feel better by bringing my dog in and taking wonderful care of him!

Gave this vet a shot because I had gotten a voucher from the place I adopted my kitten from and I don’t think I’ll be going anywhere else! Everyone up there is super friendly and attentive, my kitten enjoys climbing up the hanging tower on the door in their exam rooms. They’re also very considerate of your pockets so they won’t do any unnecessary treatments

We've been taking our fur babies to see Dr. Miller for the past year. Miller and his team are so friendly and great with our babies. Unfortunately, we are moving to California and cannot take Dr Miller with us!! most definitely recommend bringing your pets here as they will be well taken care of. I was an emergency situation my dog had gotten attacked from one of my bigger dogs. I called vo vets As soon as it happened and had an appointment with in 10 minutes. They were super helpful and nice and explained everything perfectly and gave me affordable options .dog is doing great.if I could give them 100 stars I would will definitely be back !

Dr. Miller and his team are phenomenal. Super caring and gentle with our 3 kittens who were experiencing upper respiratory issues since being adopted from the shelter. The techs were thorough, kind, and patient when explaining the treatment plan. We appreciate that this practice is open 7 days a week to help see our pets. Thank you VoVets!

They did such a great job making my nervous fur baby comfortable! They explained each vaccine needed as many times as I needed them to in order to best understand what’s needed for my dog and why. First exam was free and they made a cute little puppy kit for me to take home as well! Excellent customer service for my fur baby and me :)

We love VO Vets! The staff is amazing!! They are caring & compassionate. We first started going to them because our Ginger needed to see a vet on a Sunday & our vet was not open. We were so impressed at the level of care & expertise that we switched to VO Vets for all of Ginger’s care. They have continued to impress us on every visit.

Amazing experience and eased my anxiety about whether he was okay after his visit to the emergency vet (not this office). They helped prescribe him new medication as the medicine prescribed by the last office was giving him diarrhea. Russell is an amazing doctor and amazing at communicating so you understand every step of the way.

This is an amazing vet. The staff is so sweet and kind. We had to say goodbye to our sweet dog of 10 years and they were so sympathetic and made the process easier. Our other dog loves going there, he just eats up the attention he gets. Would highly recommend Dr Miller and his staff. They will take great care of your your babies.

I love that VO is open everyday of the week. I had to take my dog on a Sunday, thinking she had an injury from wrestling with my other dog. After blood tests and exam, she had a tentative diagnosis of Addison's disease, fatal if not treated ASAP. Recommendation to vet ER and she is slowly making improvement. I'm so thankful.

Dr Miller at VO Vets could not have been more caring compassionate and understanding. He took the time to hear all of my concerns (including the ones that weren’t the primary visit reason) and worked with me to keep my out of pocket expenses within reason. Could not recommend a better veterinarian or veterinary practice! ❤️

Vets were all very friendly and knowledgeable, techs were AMAZING and sweet, any time I have questions since this is our first pet, I’m able to call and they give great service, or if they need to check with a vet they always give me a callback to get the situation figured out. Love that our puppy is so well taken care of.

They were very forward with me and my dogs treatment plan reviewing all costs and explaining treatment in great detail. My boy Zeke loved the staff and of course the treats. Absolutely perfect! Receptionist was so very nice when I called. Trish and Dr. Braswell were both amazing. Everyone was so kind and treated our dog with love and kindness. You could definitely tell that they care. If you’re wondering if you should take your pet here, stop wondering and call! You won’t be sorry.

These folks will forever be the caregivers of our pets. Went in knowing it was not going to be good news for our Lab. Our regular vet was closed and would not see him. They were so very compassionate and loving to our Gunner. Facility is top notch but the people made an incredibly tough time bearable.

Very good vet experience they are open on weekends which was so great. My poor baby ripped her nail off, they have been caring for her well and don’t make me wait in a room for 15-30 minutes like other vets. They are timely and gentle. 5/5. I’ll be bringing both pups here going forward

We have been to VO vets 3 times have had nothing but the best experience. Dr. And staff are very helpful and have helped us to get on the right track to getting our dog healthier. The facility is extremely clean and very well kept. We just found our forever Vet and highly recommend!

We got in last minute at the end of the day before Thanksgiving and just had the most caring wonderful treatment for our girl! They were considerate of cost, knowledgeable and truly have a an obvious love for animals. The facility is bright and clean and welcoming. Highly recommend!

First time trying VO Vets! Needed an exotics vet to see my Nicaraguan Boa! Dr. Vicario and her tech Bridget were top notch! Very thorough and very personable! Would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a veterinarian! I will definitely be bringing my pets back!

My baby got into a situation requiring a lot of putting back together. The entire staff was amazing, worked very well with him and us, and went more than the extra mile to take care of him and make sure he was on the road to feeling better.

The staff were very kind, there are a few front desk people, one lady was very kind and helpful, she had black straight hair, while the other was completely clueless and incompetent (hence the 3 stars). My dog was very sick and dehydrated,

We recently began coming to VO vets. We haven't found a vet we absolutely loved out here since moving across the country. We have two dogs and two cats and they have taken the best care of them! Love taking our babies to VO vets!!

My dog and I love the treatment we get here at VO Vets! Bubba is always so happy and healthy after leaving the office! This is one of the few places I can take him where he will actually relax that isn’t at home! Love them!

The staff and doctors were friendly and very gentle with my dog. After the examination they gave my pet a treat for being so well behaved. I definitely would recommend bringing your pets here for their medical needs.
