Beautiful Temple of Durga Ma. Has representations of other Gods and deities too including a beautiful Shiv-lingam, Shiv parivar, Ram Darbar, Radha-Krishna, Baba Balak Nath, Shree Hanuman, Sai Baba, Nav Grah. The service is excellent and the pundits perform very nice puja. Feels very uplifting to visit: Serene and peaceful. Besides this, there are many other activities in this 1990 established temple at Milton-Oakville border. These include: -Free Yoga on Sundays, -Bhoj on Tuesdays and Sundays, -Gita Path etc. Temple staff is very responsive to phone calls. Special pujas are organised for special festivals. Pujas are done with arti as well as sanskrit shloks ( which I love) and the group of pundits play the harmonium and sing the bhajans very passionately. PARKING: Inside the temple premises. Free. MEMBERSHIP: None. Temple is open to all. Membership option is available on a yearly basis for those who wish to get email updates and generally wish to contribute to the temple. It’s really good to have a peaceful temple nearby so yes we are blessed but today we went for Dussehra Festival and I don’t know who did Ravan’s setup but all the fireworks was coming directly towards people. Most of us had small kids. It was expected that fireworks will be going here and there so we made proper distance but no one expected that it will be coming directly towards us. My hair also got burnt as I got some on my head while my husband like nearby parents was trying to keep our toddler safe. We don’t think we will be going back for Dussehra in next coming years. It was not safe at all. We have been to many Ravan Dahan but the setup is like the fireworks will go in vertical directions not horizontal

Nice, well arranged temple area. However disappointed by the temple maintenance. No sign boards for devotees to maintain peace and quiet. My first experience visiting so far was ruined. A regular devotee visitor to the Temple was praying for an hour so loud in a very irregular tone. There were no rules to avoid such a nuisance and let visitors pray in peace and quiet. This must be taken into consideration as no one would like to hear such unrhythmic tones by others while praying. Temples are a place for harmony and to make one feel at peace. This temple must do something to maintain peace and quiet especially for regular visitors.

I have been to this temple only once in Dec, during Christmas time. This rating is mainly because, on the day I visited, the Men's washroom was overflowing and smelling real bad. I was there for an event that was running for more than couple of hours and it was very inconvenient to use that washroom, especially with kids. The parking around the temple is a little bit awkward, with chunks of 5 to 6 parking spots distributed all around the temple. There is also a lot with about 20 to 30 spots at the very back. The temple upstairs was very clean and quiet. If the washroom issue was taken care of, then the rating would be at least 4.

Unfortunately, but I need to share this post which isn't positive. May be I visited on a busy day, but noticed several factors which led to an unpleasant experience of this temple. I saw : dirty carpets inside the temple meditation/waiting area; Children playing and running around disturbing the peaceful environment within temple; Dusty window ledges at the side entrances; It was loud and noisy inside the temple. Hope they improve to provide an experience which exfoliates devotion and peace inside the trouble minds of the devotees.

We had our wedding at Vaishno Devi Temple, Oakville in their yagyashala. The entire committee was so helpful towards catering our needs that we will always be grateful to them for making our wedding day so special. The entire facility is well maintained and have plenty of parking spaces around. All priests and staff are simple amazing, and a special thanks to priest Neeraj Sharma and Taneja Uncle for coordinating everything for our special day. I have seen this temple going from 5 star to 0 star in last 5 years. Specially they are more into money making business now. When ever we do pooja here now....Pundits just wrap it in less than 1 minute specially shradh pooja. I dont understand what hurry are they in...it used to be far better couple of years back. This year is the worst. Going forward, i guess its better to drive little far to mississauga temple and do pooja there. Management needs some serioud thinking about it.

The only Indian temple as on date in Oakville. Or should I qualify it as North Indian style temple. The basement level has separate wash rooms for men and women. It has a cloak room to leave your footwear and jacket. There is a large dining area too in the basement. The first level is where you see the idols. There is also a navagraha and a Shirdi Sai Baba idol. On both occasions of my visit, I was served prasad on my way out.

Very serene atmosphere, located on a few acres of land. Temple has been in existence since 1991. Idols are very beautiful and located in a very big hall where one can peacefully sit and meditate to their heart's content. Priests are very pleasing mannered, on your way out, you are given theertha and prasada. The temple is located on Level 2 and on Level 1, you have a large hall are rented out for small functions.

Very spacious and peaceful temple on hwy 25 in Oakville. Lots of parking available. Pujaris are nice and have lots of patience. Even on a working day evening, there were ppl coming in and out. Aarti time is 8 pm. You can perform puja or ask panditji. Darshan hall is big enough to accommodate 100+ ppl at a time. I believe there is separate havan/yagna room as well. A must visit if you are in Oakville area.

Temple itself is good but the management is not good, we traveled from Ottawa to this temple, on Jan. 01-2023, there was no proper procedure of having prshad, one says go in front and front one says go to back--then it took almost 25 minutes to take back our shoes, no proper entry gate to the temple and signs, was disappointed but happy that somehow or the other we offered our prayers in this temple.

Peaceful place to go and visit anytime. During festival time it is always a happening place where you get to see people from different parts of India. Management of the temple is really good and very much helping. We went yesterday for garba/dhandia celebration and really enjoyed the program. Very well managed and great cooperation from all visiting folks.

Good temple, and probably the only Hindu temple in Halton that I know about. It is large, with parking behind it. Good size, decent turnouts. Many programs for kids, adults and seniors. Frequent Prasadi (lunches and dinners). Several regular programs of puja, bhajan etc. Unfortunately, not wheelchair accessible, many steps inside between. The two floors.

Very nice and peaceful temple. It's good for arranging functions like baby shower, marriage. They have separate hall for marriage apart from the one in basement. The basement one is also big and can accommodate more then 100 people. There is no diaper change station which must be there. The temple is located on the road. Also it has enough parking space.

It’s serene here. We went here for darshan today. It’s clean and well maintained. In Mississauga, we used to regularly go to Ram Mandir. Since we shifted to Milton, the commute was longer. Vaishno Devi temple is exactly like Ram Mandir and Hindu Heritage. It was very peaceful. And thankfully this is closer to our home.

Surrounded by beautiful trees, clean lake with chirp of birds Chants create awesome religious feeling. Facilities for water, wheelchair entrance, washrooms and also hall for special events.

We went to the temple today, one old man was volunteering there and he was very rude with my 7 years old son, we take our kids to the temple so that they could get some interest in our culture, but if this kind of behavior they will see in the yemple then it's really very difficult and unacceptable.

We have been visiting this temple for almost a year now. It’s so peaceful and serene here. The temple is very well maintained, all panditji’s at the temple are very good and helpful. The temple has variety of god idols as well all under one roof. It’s one place that instantly reminds me of home.

Visited temple during the Chhath Puja celebration. Make sure to take a cab from Brknye Road highway Go station as there isn't any pedestrian path. Temple has ample space for parking and even has a small pond. Also, the temple has some facilities including a kitchen and a hall.

It is open and peaceful, it is also clean! I wish they would use utensils rather tha disposables for food. Yes, chairs can be replaced in the basement as some of them were pretty wobbly. Overall, I have been here a few times and always find it peaceful. The alter is beautiful.

Beautiful temple with lots of space. Beautifully maintained and the pandit ki checked our temperature and everything. We visited wrong time so cannot tell how the Pooja goes. There is a special place for yagya and a very small pond near the exit .

Very well maintained and spiritual place for the Hindu community. Once we enter the place we can feel the positive waves flowing through your body and mind. This is one of the best places to awaken your soul in the GTA area.

I like the fact that it is easily accessible to the community. The temple can use some Reno and cleaning. The basement area has a weird smell. I wish more people will devote their time and money to take care of it.

It's a nice temple. The main hall is huge and we'll kept. However, the bathrooms are very filthy. The staff needs to make sure that washrooms are always kept clean as well like the rest of the temple
