I have been getting pedicures from this Valencia location for about 6 months. I liked this location because on a Monday evening they are usually empty. The services have always been mediocre at best but I didn’t mind because I liked the convenience of location. The last time I went to this location will officially be my last. I got a pedicure with regular polish and it never dried. I called back to fix the issue and while the receptionist was really nice, the nail tech was rude. For that reason, I will list why you should go somewhere else. 1. Cost; Valencia nail spa is super expensive for no reason. They do not use luxury products. They do have a full bar, and your service allegedly come with 2 drinks. I have never been offered more than one drink and sometimes they neglect to offer me a drink at all. 2. Dirty; The pedicure chairs have nail polish stains, the surfaces are covered in nail oil, and there is usually a thin layer of nail dust covering the manicure tables. 3. Employees; a handful of employees appear unkept. They wear clothes with stains that look like they have been picked up off a bedroom floor. Nail techs have long nail extensions that scratch your legs as they give you a lack luster massage. 4. For pedicure services they use the nasty foot cheese grater that is illegal in multiple states. 5. Each nail tech has their own caddy of tools to use for your service. Some employees keep their tools and products clean. The most disgusting nail caddy I have seen belonged to a male nail tech who dresses in clothes with cartoon characters on it. His makeup case doubled as nail caddy was filled with dusty, used nail cotton pads, dried nail polish bottles, with tools and products carelessly thrown in. 6. Quality of service; I recently went to a luxury spa in downtown San Antonio. Same price better service and they offered eco friendly nail polish choices. While I do enjoy how dead this location was on a weekday evening….. I now realize it was dead for a reason. They did resolve my pedicure issue, but the nail tech was rude, rushing and did a mediocre job. When I got home there was cotton fibers dried into my nail polish.

First off, I was NOT prepared for my daughter to call me saying her nails cost $80 when we're used to other places charging less. I thought OK, well, my fault, I should have called to ask pricing, but they do 'nickel and dime' by charging more for length, to do any shape, etc. Full set starts at $60 I hear. Second, I thought this would be a cool place to refer my sister in law to with a nice complimentary drink, maybe even a virgin drink for the teens. They got absolutely nothing. Did this stop? If so, it should be removed from the advertising, menu, etc shown here. Third, the photo is what my sister sent me when I asked for a photo to help them determine the tip amount. I was shocked that they were charging $80 and trying to have my 15 year old leave without wrapping the tip, especially on such a dark color. My sister in law (who took them but was letting them have their 'girl time') had to go examine and ask for them to fix the nails. Idk what kind of black they have but when she got home it's passable at a distance, but you can definitely see thin spots where you see the nail underneath (not fully black). Needless to say, if they were trying to send my daughter out with the nail tips looking like that, we did not add a tip. For $80, I'd assume it's pretty much built in. My niece also got a similar style and needed her previous nails removed and was charged over $100 for her set. Sad that this place is so expensive and tried to pull one over on teens cause this place is right down the street and I was hoping it could be a good spot for pampering. My daughter did say the person who did her nails was very friendly and talkative, but did talk about her boyfriend a LOT . The nails are shaped nicely, but super thick.

I’ll first say this place is more expensive than any other place I’ve been.which is fine if given quality! This was my first time coming here. The place is very nice and clean not busy. I came to get a pedi which was expensive $51 or something for the wax. I got regular polish which I usually get regular polish. The guy doing my toes was nice and took his time I appreciate that he did ok. After day 5 my polish started to chip now I know regular can do this but after day 5?! Yea no…maybe their polish is cheaper than others I don’t know. So I called and the gentleman I spoke to was nice about it and said come on in. When I got there I decided to do shellac thinking I’ll pay 20 or 25 bucks to do so. This man tells me $35 it’s only $25 if I add this on at the time of original service. I felt that was crazy since I already had paid $50 for a mediocre pedi but I didn’t go back and forth I just said ok I’ll just keep regular polish. After she finished these people charged me $12 for a polish change? Why? I came to get something corrected because poor products were used lol it’s all good I don’t think I would return the receptionist told me the one in the dominion was better I plan to check that one out. Drinks were good though the receptionist also stated the best techs there were in Vietnam on vacation maybe I’ll return in spring when they are back.

Been to this place 4 times total the first time my nails were expensive and weren’t that great. Second time which was recently my nails came out very bubbly and badly painted so I ended up going back the next day for them to fix it. Then 2 days later the shellac peeled off a few nails so I went back again… I spent about $130 for mani pedi w/ shellac and fills.. the pedi was ok but not the fill and Shellac. I just got them done and within 4 days I’ve gone back twice for them to redo it not to mention this last time my nails ended up different colors bc they used a powder on one of the nails that was paper thin that broke while the shellac was chipped and got stuck in my hair while I was washing it… smh .. not good Valencia Nail Spa.. I’ve given this place a few chances and they were all bad! I definitely do not recommend coming here maybe just for a pedi since I haven’t experienced anything that horrible with pedia here.

This is a nice place. Very clean and open. I don’t know that I’d come back though. Maybe. It was pricey and they didn’t know what colors were needed for a French pedicure. If you drink, they had a variety of options. I don’t but they still had a lot of non-alcoholic options. My tech was good although a bit rough at times. Like it hurt a bit. He really tried to get it right and had a good attention to detail. I left a generous tip but I don’t think I’ll be a return customer. What I get is basic and this just didn’t measure up. If this was my local place I’d probably be back but it’s not so the search continues. **update: polish smeared already. I’m going on a trip tomorrow so this I’ll have to fix myself.

It was my first time there, it wasn't very busy when I showed up. The person at the front wasn't very friendly and didn't acknowledge me right away. Then it took awhile for them to get started on my pedicure. The pedicure process was a good experience. I'm not a big talker, so her not talking to me, wasn't too bad, but I know there are people that love the interaction. I mainly went to get my nails painted (no fake nails) for a wedding. The finished look looked fine. A toe nail already chipped after like 4 days and all my fingers have a weird line that's pretty noticeable near the cuticle, I'm guessing from where cuticles are cleaned up and pushed back. I doubt I will go back.

We had a pedicure appointment at a certain time for the four of us and two employees were 15-25 minutes late.. with that being said we still had a great experience! Well worth the money. Good products and chairs. Free drinks too! Just plan to wait a while Update: Went here a second time and got Steven. my toenail was cut so short it is uncomfortable!! Was burned with hot wax and hot water 3 times, and didn’t feel well taken care of. I think I’ll find a new place to go to that’s a bit gentler.

The salon is clean and has a great location. The consistency on quality isn’t there though. It’s hit or miss when I visit. Just went a week ago and got dip. They put a gel topcoat and it’s already peeling. I asked for coffin and the nail tech said they’ll likely break and I said I get that all the time so he said ok. Left with square nails. After trying the place a couple times I think I have a favorite nail tech, so will be going to her only. Only some give massages on ur hands/arms.

To the hundreds of people I’ve recommended: please don’t go, I was wrong. You pay almost $200 but when it breaks days later, they will ignore you and not have the courtesy to fix it. Pics was taken 8 days after getting them done. Sorry I mislead so many and recommended you come here. Please do not go. I’ve never felt like a ni&&er till now. They wouldn’t have treated me like this if I wasn’t black. If I was white, I would not have gotten this treatment.

The manager does not accept accountability for acrylic not adhering to my nails ~whole right hand,lifting, breaking acrylic and the left hand began to separate a couple of days later. The initial lifting started one day after I got fills. This was less than two weeks when this occurred. She wanted me to purchase another set. It did not meet my expectations. I’ve had nails to last up to three weeks with no issues.

They charged me $80 for this. I was not happy, it was my first time there and I was rushed when I walked in. The gentleman who did my nails seemed like he was in a rush to get my nails done. They didn’t tell me that they were going to charge me more for certain things, as they usually do at any other nail salon. I definitely will not be going back. I do not think $80 is a fair price for these nails.

I recommend this salon, their overall service is top notch, quality of nail polish, décor is beautiful, location is great, drink service is generous. I use to go to another salon for years and this location has made me a regular customer. I don't mind paying a little more for an overall nice experience and beautiful nails. Recommend making an appointment so don't have to wait.

The nail experience at Valencia Nail Salon was truly memorable. I opted for the Chrome Nails service here, and I couldn't believe the final result. The unique and sparkling nail designs truly made my nails stand out. The nail technicians are skilled and have the ability to create stunning designs. I will return to this salon whenever I want to change the look of my nails.

Awesome place, I’ve been coming here for a while thanks to Krystal. She has been doing my manicures for years now so I followed her to this location. I highly recommend you make an appointment with her, the attention to detail is above and beyond. I’m glad she chose this nail salon it’s always super clean, drinks are delicious and you are definitely pampered.

I’ve been a nail biter my whole life, I went here to get my very first manicure since i stopped biting 1 month ago. I was so nervous going in but the front desk girl was very helpful! She served me a complementary drink from the bar, the nail tech was very nice and did a great job! Total time was 30 mins exactly. Excited to see them again in another month

I've found a gem in this area, and it's Valencia Nail Salon! The nail services here are outstanding. The staff has a great ability to mix colors and provide nail advice. They created beautiful nail sets for both my hands and feet, exactly as I expected. I'm highly satisfied and will definitely recommend this salon to my friends.

Valencia Nail Salon is truly an excellent destination. The Gel Nails service here is professional and commendable. My nails look amazing and of high quality. The Gel Nails material is durable and does not harm the natural nails. The nail technicians are extremely skilled and dedicated. I am very satisfied with my experience.

This was my third time to this nail salon. It is clean and they open new nail stuff; which is a must for me. Nice range of colors for gel and regular polish. The staff is friendly and professional. I took my daughter with me this last time and they were great with her as well. My gel nails look great and last two weeks plus.

I anticipated this shop opening due to its location being very close to my home. I’ve been a customer since it’s has opened. The services have been inconsistent. There are a couple nail techs that do a great job but lately the quality has gone down. Today I paid for poor quality. I dont think I will be returning.

I was pleasantly surprised by this location. There were unexpected bonuses and a point system that rivaled my previous favorite nail spot. I'm glad I stopped here. I won't have to make that 30 min trip to the other location. Both my daughter and I received great services!!!

I always go here because it’s close to my house! Many do an awesome job but it does depend on who you get. I have had issues with them keeping my favorite mail gal or guy… But usually find one I like. Oh, and they have free alcoholic beverages, sodas, coffee, etc! Bonus!!!

Katie was super sweet and patient, She was also super gentle which I appreciate. It’s pricey but usually worth it. In my opinion this is the nicest shop in the area. I’ve been a few times and worked with a few people and haven’t had a bad experience!

Overall it is not a bad nail shop, however it costs depending on the length of your nail and the shape. So added an extra 15 to the 70 I had already paid!! My nails were ok but bulky and different sizes. Maybe I just needed a different nail

Stopped here for the first time and got a set of old gel removed, and a new gel manicure. It was a decent manicure, and looked pretty, but it’s basic and I’ve been to other places in the city where the prices were cheaper for the same work.

I had a sea blue powder dip set done and felt like I was at the beach right in the heart of the city. The powder material was smooth and easy to work with, allowing for customizable nail shapes. The colors were incredibly vibrant and sharp.
