A beautiful quiet park that's recently renovated with new sprinklers, grass and drought resistant plants. Along with the the upgrade a 1/4 mile walkway, or track, around the perimeter has also been my modified with curbs and crushed red brick gravel to make it safer to walk or jog. A very peaceful neighborhood and park.

Really excellent neighborhood park. Could use some more shade trees near the picnic tables, but overall L.A. could use a lot more parks like this one. Maybe 5 years ago when this was written. Now in 2022 obnoxious pushy dog owners are turning it into a dog park. A lot of snotty yuppies who think they're above the law.

Been here only once, but this park is very cute and, well, family friendly we can say. As you probably can see in the images shared, there are kids play areas, and pets (dogs) are welcome. There's plenty grass and limbs to lay down or climb upon. Really nice place to come to for a stroll or to exercise a bit.

This park is nicely kept. Very clean. The big downside is that the playground is very minimalist. One swing for babies. One swing for big kids. One swing for toddlers. The slides are for small kids. It’s nice but for a 7 year old. It’s pretty boring. The playground is for small children.

Not a great choice if you have small children. The playground is for toddler sized children but they can’t play on any of the equipment, due to older children not allowing them. The gates are left open and the older children are barely supervised, we didn’t stay for more than 20 mins.

Beautiful clean park. Has a playground for the kids and a walking path that goes around the park. Great open space to walk the pups, you'll also find friendly fur parents that have well-behaved dogs for a pup social. Park is not entirely gated, but easy to find parking.

Very nice park. Secluded in a neighborhood so no worries about cars so much. The play ground is mostly shaded and has a gate around it. There is a good amount of street parking. There is plenty of seating but wish more of them were in shady spots.

A lovely little park surrounded by very low traffic residential streets. Almost all the dogs we've met are very friendly and playful. Rare that anyone brings an aggressive dog. Plenty of places to sit and have lunch, a big, low-hanging tree

This park is not very big but lovely. It has green lawn, many big shady trees to sit under on hot days, open area to view the sky. There are many benches and picnic tables, also children play area. Unfortunately, there is no restroom here.

Valley Glen is our local park. It’s a few minutes from our house so when we need a little fresh air. My little monster loves the swing and kids play area. As a parent, I love the fact that it’s gated and my kids can’t run away when I turn

  • Jeff Shennette

Great place for kids and dogs. However, it is just a basic park. It did have a lot of grass, sturdy tables, and I dirt path that winds through the park. The path is great for getting your steps in. There's a steady stream of people with

There's something for everyone at this park. There's a play area for kids. There's a track for runners and walkers. There are trees to climb. There are folks with their dogs. There are old men playing backgammon. There are young couples

Mornings during the week it's a busy park with some dogs running around (unleashed) and people exercising around the small track/path. Between 10-3 it's usually calm..NO restrooms but does have fenced in jungle gym and a water fountain.

This is a fun & relaxing park. There are plenty of places to sit & green grassy open space. The walking path provides a pleasant walk with no tripping or falling obstacles. The buttergarden is lovely & well maintained. More

Great park for small dogs and well behaved large dogs. I live across the street and I can see the park. I've spent hours just sitting and watching the dogs. One improvement would be a fence around the entire park .

Favorite park in the valley! Nestled in a quiet neighborhood. Dogs running everywhere (some might not like this but I love it!) Lots of trees and shade and clean green grass. Big tree in the middle great to climb!

  • Danielle Erotas

It has a gated play area for kids and a large grassy area for running, sports, etc. My only issue with it is the lack of a bathroom. Feels a little like playing Russian roulette with a potty trained toddler.

  • Jacqueline 1995

Nice small park allot of ppl walking and jogging on the dirt trail that goes along the length of the park Has a play place are for (Small) children. People also bring their dogs, well maintained..

Upon arrival in Valley Glen, the best way to unwind after your trip is to kick back in a pretty outdoor space and get some fresh air. Valley Glen Community Park is the perfect place to do this.

  • Regina Fischedick

What a nice, well maintained park! ❤️ Perfect for toddlers for playing, and the large field is great for bigger kiddos. Very clean, very safe. Only callout is there is no bathroom here.

  • I'merika

This park has change since the last time I was there. It's nice but I linked it more when it was open field. Since they added a bunch a playground they should of added bathrooms. More

Beautiful park that is well surrounded and protected from homeless encampment by local community. Plenty of dogs, kids, and activity. The big tree is a blessing for the neighborhood.

  • Michael Taylor Gray

Such a continued lovely addition to our neighborhood. It gives us all a chance to mingle and get to know one another. And for all of our pets to have the time of their lives.

  • Kendall Rummell

Fun nice park, however a lot of individuals treat it as an off leash dog park. This is fine for some trained dogs, but incredibly dangerous for dogs without good recall.

  • Albert Cruz

Nice park looks well maintained, they have a separate playground for smaller children, sandbox about 3 swings my kids loved running around amd playing with the sand

  • harold tack

  • Francesca Queen

Love taking my pup here so she can stretch her legs. Although, other's need to clean up after themselves and their pets to keep the park and community beautiful.
