I asked to try on 2 different pair of shoes, they only brought one pair for me. The sales rep told me they would bring out the other pair later, but never did. He kept talking to someone on a 2 radio piece acting suspicious. I ended up buying the pair i tried on but couldn't help question why they didn't bring the second pair and if they were discriminating towards me. Second, they don't have enough options for kids or woman clothing. Your better off shopping at Vans located inside a mall. I used a $25 coupon that was given to me from my last purchase made from a different Vans location a month ago. I paid a total of $172 and will more likely not shop at this location again, due to lack of clothing option on the floor, lack of parking because its downtown and feeling uncomfortable for not trying the second pair of shoes i requested.

Clackamas Town Center. Labor Day Weekend 2022. I dont like shoe shopping, especially in a crowded store. But, this was the best shoe-shopping experience in years. The place was crowded and busy, but I went to the wall and found a shoe I was interested in. Asked an employee if I could try it on in a size 9. A few minutes later they were brought from the back. ... Being particular about my laces, I took a moment to re-lace one of the shoes before trying it on. It fit well. It felt great. I walked around the store a bit. ... First shoe, first try, one and done. ... I bought the pair, walking out with them in a paper bag. ... Quick, painless, efficient.

This store has horrible customer service!!! The last time I was in I was exchanging a pair of shoes and asked them if I needed my original receipt and they said no and they kept it. I called back and they said I could do an exchange or get store credit but now that I’m here they’re saying I cannot do an even exchange for the exact shoe in the exact same size different color… they are offering $20 for a $65 dollar show that is brand new. I’m so sick of the little kids who work here who have no idea how to do their jobs! DO NOT SHOP THIS LOCATION!

Shout out to Anthony at the downtown store on Harvey! I did a buy online pick up in store and already paid. When I arrive Anthony gives me an option to cancel my online order and get an additional 25% off! I’m a manager in retail for 15+ years and Vans better watch out or I’m going to try to recruit Anthony haha. Seriously, thank you Anthony for an amazing retail experience and Vans for hiring such a nice young man! I will now buy from this store only and not online. Happy Holidays to all.

Excellent customer service. The sales people were fast. Greeted every customer as they walked in. I was in with my 8 year old niece. They made sure to measure her foot so we got the right size. She even told us the equivalent size in adult women's size. Oh, I apologize also for wearing all adidas gear while in a Van's Store. In a time when most stores lack in customer service this store restores my faith in retail.

Had a great experience this morning, was greeted and helped by Sam. Made the visit pleasant, quick, and easy! Wonderful human, awesome store filled with anything you could need from a vans location. This is a really good vans store. They have a large selection of awesome shoes all over the wall. Many different varieties. Very high quality. Excellent sock selections.but they need to get slouch beanies! They won't offer slouch beanies when that is what a higher majority of people wear in Portland. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Have bought multiple pairs of shoes, over the years, here. Each time I stop in Portland, if I need a pair, I am sure to stop here. Always helpful and always able to find something that best matches my needs... even if it's sometimes the exact same pair as the last

Too many employees. They must get paid on commission. Had 5 employees hover around me and ask me multiple times if I needed anything. Let people shop! I left with one thing because I was tired of getting bothered. I came in intending to buy multiple things.

This is an amazing store! I love it there. I could not believe the selection of decks they had. Also, Vans has come a long way. The new-style shoes are cool as hell! Anyways, I had a great time there this morning. It is defiantly worth checking out.

No fitting rooms, they expect you to buy anything you may be interested in and then make a second trip to return or exchange … and if the exchange doesn’t work then it’s a third trip. Oh, and this is because they use the fitting rooms for storage.
