Update 2: two additional dine-in visits, both times we were served sloppy soggy center pizzas. Seems they've grown beyond their ability to maintain quality. Update: Recent dine in experience we ordered our usual pizza shop standard, sausage pizza and some wings. The wings were very good. The pizza however, was a sloppy mess. The under crust and edges were brown and crispy but the center of this pie was very soggy. It just wasn't cooked through. Their conveyor pizza oven temperature must have been off. Pretty disappointing. Original: Their pizzas are always great and pretty close to a NY style "street pie" or "bar pizza". Travels well (stays crisp) when delivered or take out. Wings are usually pretty good as well - big pieces too (not as good delivered comparedto dine-in). Tried their Italian sub and was okay, nothing special. Fairly simple, but nice, dine-in area (counter order only) with a few spots to eat outside as well. Consistent, affordable, and always friendly service.

I’ve lived down the street for years and decided to do a pickup, the man on the phone told me it would be 25 minutes. I came to pick up the pizza 25 minutes later, told the girl with the pink hair that I was here to pick up and she said “let me check on that for you”, then proceeded to do nothing for 10 minutes until I finally asked her if it was ready. She finally decided to do her job and told me it would be 5 more minutes. I proceeded to wait another 15 minutes for the pizza. As I’m waiting there, people are coming in and out and getting their orders and leaving. I ask her again what’s going on, she then “finds” my pizza, that had been sitting under a few other boxes right in front of me. Very unprofessional, got the feeling she made me stand there on purpose. I wish I could take back my tip. Truly disappointing since I loved the pizza. Will definitely do delivery next time.

Party Pizza Challenge Review: Finish a Party Pizza with a partner in under an hour. Ambiance: 4/5 What I really liked about this location was that the pictures of the past winners was up front, and they also had some cool decor. Taste: 5/5 They make one of the best pizzas around, and when ever I want to take friends or family to do a challenge review with me I always do a new location. This one was just as great as all the others I've had. Not to greasy and excellent seasonings. Challenge description: 5/5 The party pizza was just as described, they didn't add pounds of extra cheese or dough. It was perfect. Staff: 5/5 The staff new all of the challenge rules, they even had a timer set up, and cut the pizza in 8 slices for me. Afterwards they had the Polaroid camera on hand to take our picture and hang it up. This is one of the few locations thay really hit all bases. Time: 22:22 Difficulty: 1/5 Prizes: A winner shirt for both of the challengers. Thank you staff for being so accommodating with me and my daughter during the challenge.

Amazing Restaurant!! I would definitely be eating here again!! Had dinner with my daughter, best friend, her husband & kids! Food was amazing!! Pizza was extremely DELICIOUS & HUGE!! We ONLY ordered ONE of their LARGEST PIZZA SIZES for the 6 of us. (I kid you not!! The size of that pizza, was literally bigger than the table we were sitting at!!) My first visit to Venezia's New York Style Pizza left me stunned! I ordered a gluten free pizza with veggies and dairy free mozzarella cheese. Absolutely amazing pizza! The veggies tasted fresh, the gluten free crust was cooked to perfection (most places over cook the crust leaving it hard and dry) and the taste was unbelievably good. The pizza was so aromatic that my lunch partner was enticed into eating a slice. In his words " WOW! This pizza is great!" Coming from a guy who would never eat a veggie pizza! The restaurant was clean and the service exceptional. If your down for a great pizza, hit up Venezia's New York Style Pizza, located at 15620 N.Tatum Blvd, Phoenix Az. Used to go all the time for lunch at the Tempe location. Just as good as I remembered!! The pizza was a spicy, thin crust Italian Stallion. The dough was soft and chewy but held the toppings perfectly. The bone in honey bbq wings were sweet and tangy and had a substantial amount of meat on them. The greek salad was huge for a small portion! It could easily feed two! And to top date night off, we had a regular and a chocolate covered cannoli that are to die for! Can't recommend enough! *for Covid-they have dine in and take out available. They indicate separate entry and exit doors. There are plastic barriers at the counter and they have every other table roped off.

Don't go when they are busy. When we got the pizza the sauce was very minimal and watered down and as a result the pizza was a very wet mess (see first picture). When we showed this to them they said it was because of our toppings (mushrooms and bell pepper) but they were still crunchy and wet when we got them. When we took the rest home and ran it in our toaster oven it was a lot better (see second picture) but the watered down sauce already ruined the cheese flavor and the pizza overall. Overall, the first and last time we would go. There are better and equally priced pizza options in the Valley.

Not sure if these are franchises or not but this is easily the best venetzias in town. Clean, great friendly service and the some of the best pizza around. The owner is always in and everyone here seems happy and its just a great atmosphere!

Their pizzas are phenomenal and they're worth the price that they have. When you go in you can get one slice a drinkAnd a salad for $11 or you can get 2 slices and a drink for $11 the slices are huge abruptly 12 inches long and 5 to 6 inches wide, The ingredients when I was there was literally all hand cut and fresh. It's truly made when you order, they also do deliver which I never knew. I'll be ordering more pizza soon for a party. Thank you guys it's been the best experience I've ever had at a restaurant.

Great tasting pizza. Got the lunch combo with 2 slices of pizza and a drink. Great deal. The slices are huge and you can mix and match the pizza types. Crust is nice and crispy, not soggy. Pizza and wings were good. I really like their crumbled sausage and the spicy pizza sauce you can get. Normally get a sausage pizza and an Italian stallion pizza. Nice chewy crust and thin bottom. Wings are good if ordered crispy and do run hot; I get hot buffalo wings most everywhere but get medium here. Their hot is spicier than usual--fair warning. The crust is usually awesome but today that wasn’t the case. I totally understand Friday nights are super busy. I've been going to Venezia's for years! No matter if I'm staying there to eat or ordering for takeout, the quality of the pizza remains the same-excellent! Their wings are good and the prices are very reasonable! I've never had a bad pizza here! The employees are friendly and I get my pizza very quickly! This is a great place to pick up a pizza for dinner! As I update this review I will continue to say the pizza is awesome, the service is wonderful, and the seating area is a great place to enjoy the food!

Maybe it’s just me that I don’t like New York pizza. I do like Chicago pizza thou. First time having Venezia’s. I got the cheese breadsticks. I liked it but not the end crusts. I liked it cause it thick cheese. My brother didn’t like it cause the cheese. My other brother said the breadsticks with cheese has no taste. Also the marinara is horrible. I also got a pepperoni pizza & a sausage pizza. The sausage they have 2 types sweet or spicy. I picked spicy and boy it was.

I don't think I've ever left a Google review before but I had to this time. I don't know what the point of Venezia's having different options in the website for light, regular, extra cheese/sauce if they don't follow them. I had to request a refund a couple weeks ago because my pizza was wrong and I didn't have time to wait for another one. I ordered again and my order was wrong. I won't be ordering from here anymore.

Yum! We were in town on vacation and found this place from all the great reviews. The meat lovers pizza was delicious. Garlic bread with cheese was delicious. Honey BBQ wings were delicious. From my Door Dash today, opened the bag and saw that my marinara sauce spilled all over the contents of the bag. None left for my mozzarella sticks. I heard this place had the best New York Style Pizza in the entire valley and after eating here, I would 100% agree with that assessment. Compared to Tempe location, this place felt a little empty and different. Pizza tasted a little soggier, wings were drenched in sauce. Dined in and ordered two combo slices, which took about 15 mins. Seemed like a long wait for two slices. Overall it's okay but definitely recommend the Tempe location.
