Brought my car in for an oil change. They charged me $252 because they threw in an “inspection”, they never told me about and I never agreed to or accepted. NO other service was performed or parts replaced. If I wanted to pay for inspections I’d take it into a dealer. Pretty disappointing since they are local and I’ve used them before. They also did not give me any indication/paperwork on what was “inspected”/condition of items etc., like a dealer does. Way to lose a customer over a cheap cash grab. $252 for 7qt of oil and an oil filter. I even asked to speak to someone and as expected, they took my number down and no-one called me back. Don’t bother now. Enjoy the $252.

I needed a safety to buy out the lease of my car. They told me I needed to repair a small exterior scratch and dent before they could safety it (this does not apply to safeties) they told me I needed new tires, and new suspension (among other things) and that my floor mats were too dangerous to be safetied. None of these things ended up being true all in all was quoted what would have amounted to at least 4000 dollars for a safety, ended up getting it done for 500 dollars and none of the things they said had to be done needed to.

I used Verwey for installing a shim kit to resolve a camber problem which neither the dealership or any other alignment shop wanted to do. By chance i was referred to Gil for this issue no tyre place was willing to fix eg. installation of shim kit. His team did a perfect job; i felt i had an issue thereafter, he was happy to at it without any issue. I look forward to working with him for coming years.

Recently moved to Burlington and needed a new mechanic. A neighbour recommended Verwey Automotive. They are amazing! Professional quality service, great prices, honest, open early and a Director of Transportation to drop customers off or pick them up. They take the time to explain to me what I need and why. I'm glad I was able to find a mechanic I can trust. Highly recommend this company.

Quoted me for windshield wiper linkage $750 straight up charge so I asked my sister’s husband and the part is only $150. Also then I was paying attention they barely even looked at it left it in the driveway and charge me $75 for just Sam inspecting it and sitting in the driveway for 30 minutes.

Tried to get a part made that they apparently knew how to do that, previous owner of Alfa suggested I try the owner . Not super helpful for my needs. They wanted the Alfa Romeo in Burlington but I live in Guelph and it could only be towed. I have my own shop
