If your struggling to get a refund please contact your bank!! After months of cancelled/Postponed events and ignored emails, phone calls and facebook messages i was told i couldn't receive a refund because it wouldn't be viable for them financially. If anybody else is struggling to get a refund please contact your bank. I'm please to say i did receive my money back and i wish i had just contacted my bank sooner. The level of unprofessionalism i experienced with this event place is unparalleled. Even before the pandemic the event was cancelled twice due to issues with actors. Since i'm not local to liverpool and was planning on making a special trip down i began to lose faith in the event and wanted my money back. I just kept getting fobbed off and ignored weather i emailed or messaged the facebook page. When the event was canceled a third time i finally rang the manager and was told they were not giving out refunds. which seems quite immoral due to it being out of my controle weather the events were cancelled. It was extremely disheartening to hear after these months of being ignore that they simply won't give me my money back. In these trying times everyone's struggling. even i am on reduced hours and scraping by financially so something like 30 pounds is a lot of money for an event your unsure will ever even happen. The Little shop of horrors event was postponed continuously but never with set dates. I asked if i could get a partial refund and he said he would look into this and ring me back within the week. after two weeks. no emails or phone calls i tried to ring back and finally received a text after several missed calls saying its his day off and to try again tomorrow. At this point id had enough and looked into legal action. The first step recommended contacting my bank. They were super helpful and reassured me that they cannot legally just keep my money after the events were postponed/canceled repeatedly due to third party reasons. The bank combed through the fine print and took my money back without hesitation. I wish i had gone to them months ago instead of causing myself all this stress. Unfortunately the event did look amazing and would had been something i would have loved to do. If i wasn't completely ignored and refused i could have re-booked tickets in the new year to other events but i lost all respect and trust in this event place.
This is an excellent interactive experience hosted by the very knowledgeable, Andy. You get to play the retro arcade games in their cabinets, as gaming used to be. They also have retro consoles as well. It allowed me to reminisce about my own experience. Well worth a visit.
We visited Videodyssey as a family recently and had such a great time. The children didn't want to leave and now have a passion for watching vhs tapes and playing retro video games which is great to see
Great little place just out of town. Retro games, films and music.
Tried half a dozen times and the 'phone is never answered.
