Finally it was opened today and got to see what's inside this aquarium. Everytime I visited the park previously this place was closed. They charged Rs.20/= for kids and adults to enter. Nothing special inside, its dark and feels like you are entering a cave. There were some large fish tanks with some fish like Perana, Lula, giant Gurami, Tetras etc. About 15 tanks in all and some were empty. Place is not maintained and tanks water is dirty. However it might be a interesting place for a fish lover to see some common Sri Lankan pet fish.
There is a considerable amount of fish variety to watch, ticket price at Rs.20 for adults and children. But maintenance of the tanks is low.
