Wonderful roast, just like my mother used to make in the UK. We have at last found somewhere (and someone, in Vik) who can make a UK-style roast, with large, fluffy yorkshire puddings, meat that melts in the mouth (beef this week), proper roast potatoes, crunchy in part, lots of freshly-cooked veggies, pokey horseradish sauce and delicious home-made gravy, all in a beautifully clean and smart environment, with linen napkins and fresh flowers too. Dessert this week was a delightful steamed jam sponge pudding, with creamy custard. We will be back - more than once - we have already booked for two more visits this year! If you are missing g a proper British Sunday roast then look no further! Wonderful place, wonderful chef, wonderful food.

Wow! Vik’s Place is amazing - lovely food, atmosphere, beautiful location and wonderful staff. We live an hour away and it so worth the drive. We have been a several times and we absolutely love the food. Christmas in July and Roast beef are my personal favourites. Yet to try the curry night, and really looking forward to trying it soon as have heard good reviews! We have been for breakfast too and that was so good. Highly recommend trying Vik’s place for yourselves, you will become regulars like us! Thank you Vik and team for giving us the best food and a little bit of the UK. Oh and I forgot to say the Yorkshire puddings are delicious. See you again soon!

We’ve been going to Vik’s Roasts at the general since we moved to Adelaide a few years ago and we were beyond excited when we heard she was opening her own place down the road from where we live. If you are a Brit living here craving a taste of home or just someone who loves a decent roast this place is for you. The portions are generous, good value for money and the food is like your grandma used to make but date I say it better - absolutely delicious. So happy that with the new place means an extended menu and today we tried out the full English which was again completely yummy and so big that we practically rolled out of the place. We were very loyal customers of the General Wine Bar in McLaren Flat and instantly fell in love with the staff and most of all Vikki's food. We were extremely excited to finally get the chance to go and enjoy her food again today and with no surprise we were not disappointed. I would encourage everyone to try Viks Place and guarantee you will also fall in love. Being English, this is the best place to go when you're ever feeling home sick, the food is just like what you would get in a traditional English country/ village pub. We had Christmas in July at Vik’s Place in Port Noarlunga, the Sunday lunch was excellent with Turkey and all the trimmings with Yorkshire puddings, the desert was really nice, the staff and the service was really good which created a nice atmosphere. I can highly recommend Vik’s Place as you would not be disappointed. Went back to Vik's Place a week ago and had the full English Breakfast it was excellent, good value for money and top-quality food, well done Vik can't wait to try the curry night.

Had dinner at Vik's Place on curry night, absolutely delicious! Best onion bhaji I've ever had & enjoyed the dhal. I loved that we could select a chicken, lamb or tofu with our curry sauce. I had chicken rogan josh & my partner had lamb tikka masala. So much food that I had to take some of mine home. Really friendly, attentive staff and so impressed that this restaurant ran so smoothly on opening night. I'm already planning to go back!

We had the Christmas in July lunch which was absolutely amazing. One of the best roasts i have ever had. Turkey was perfectly cooked which is a real challenge so Vick.! The venue and staff made it feel very homely. There is plenty of room in the restaurant and considering they are booked out frequently they could definitely put a few more tables inside without it feeling squashed to get more people in. Not a criticism we loved every minute just want to be able to share the wonderful food with more people more often. I can’t wait to come back for a Sunday roast sometime soon.

My wife, Father in Law and I had the roast pork dinner. It filled the plate and the portions of meat and veggies are very large. The meal was so tasty and we can't fault anything other than not being allowed pillows & blankets so we could lay on the floor in a food coma. The staff are so lovely. They were more like friends. So helpful and were always close by. We so hope Viki is so successful and her and the gang go on to bigger premises. Thank you for everything. We will be back again with more.

I almost didn't want to leave this review as I'm worried about it getting so popular that it'll be hard to book in again But it definitely deserves a 5 star review. I cook an extremely good roast. We went here due to the promise of Yorkshire pudding, coupled with the treat of not having to do all the work! I was expecting it to be good - but to be honest I didn't believe that it would measure up to my own roasts....but it did. And the dessert was also fabulous (and I don't rate my ability to make desserts) - so coming off the main neck and neck, Viks place takes the lead and wins the title! We will be back!

Fantastic place to go and have something to eat or just have a few drinks with both inside or outside options. The food serves are generous the quality is very good have never had a bad meal here and have been going there for a while now they do set menu nights with a few choices to pick from which is great the staff are helpful and friendly always nice and clean and the food is nice and hot definitely worth a try if your looking for something different down by the beach

We had Sunday Roast Chicken dinner here on Sunday 22 Oct. with my family. It was delicious, everything cooked to perfection and very generous portions and beautifully presented.For dessert we had chocolate bread and butter pudding and OMG is all I can say, delicious! If you haven't eaten bread and butter pudding for years like me, this is the place to taste it again. I love the set menu, we relaxed and chatted, no menu to wade through, no decicision to be made. I had a Full English Breakfast here it was delicious! I’m not a fan of black pudding so I asked for it to be left off, they asked me what I wanted instead! How good is that !! Coffee was great too and all the staff were super friendly. I will be back to try a Sunday roast soon.

Visited many times when Vik and team were at The General. First time for the Sunday Roast at the new place at Pt Noarlunga. Thanks Vik thoroughly enjoyed our roast lamb lunch at your place today and the little chat we had with you. The meal reminded me so much of the roasts my dear old Mum used to serve.
