This shopping center has THE cinema... A cinema where you may enjoy your favorite movie in large comfortable leather seats, of course, including electric decline controls, spacious, soft, comfy, a small table for your delicious snack, served with your selection of wine (sparkling if you prefer) to go. It is absolutely perfect for tackling the potential shopaholic better half... Just let her shop away in all the wonderful (expensive) stores, while you enter this heavenly oasis of decadence and relax.. feeling all stress of crazy Brazil and tomorrows credit card bills wash away in you comfy seat and sparkling bubbles.... Oh yeah... I forgot, watching the movie... They also have a stunning Koi fish dam Recommended
I joke and say that this is more a museum than a shopping center because the stores are so high end and expensive that you can just stare. But it’s a great place to go for food or the movies (which are also very expensive, but worth it). The movie ticket is around 70 reais, I think. If you’re under 21 or a student you can pay 35 reais, as it is the norm in Brazil. I’d say it’s worth it! The chairs are very comfortable, the service is outstanding and the screens are great. The restaurants are very nice as well. CT is probably my favorite but you do have cheaper options like Madero, NoLita (not cheap, but less expensive).
Village Mall is a luxury-oriented shopping mall with brands like Louis Vuitton, Tiffany’s, Armani, Salvatore Ferragamo, Carolina Herrera, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Hugo Boss and others. Very nice vibe and cosmopolitan setting. Here you can also find a big Apple Store, toy stores and entertainment for kids (plays, exhibitions and workshops), as well as a nice Cinemark with VIP services. There’s also a wide variety of fine dining restaurants such as Pobre Juan, Quadrifoglio, Naga, CT Brasserie, Sal, Capim Santo. The mall also has a small food court with a few fast food options and a nice Starbucks.
Love this place. It is great for private shopping. It is secure. People usually don’t know what they are saying to customers... there was a shop called Saraiva that it was meant to be open, I called the customer service and they told me it was open but when I got there it wasn’t even there. I told them to pay my time and my Chauffer and they simply don’t care.
This mall is really great. I am a traveler from the US and I find the malls here very fasinating. This mall has really cool unique shops and really great restaurants. A lot of entertainment places for kids if you have them and also some bars to get a drink. You can easily spend the entire day here with friends all while losing track of time.
VillageMall is a luxurious mall with nice restaurants, great theater & cinema, nice events and many high-end brand stores, including an excellent Apple Store and cozy lounge area. It's pretty nice, upscale and rarely crowded, so you can enjoy a peaceful time. Best places to visit in the horrible-to-get Barra da Tijuca neighborhoods.
Best mall in Rio for premium fashion, but also has Farm and Forver21 for cheaper fashion. The most visited here are the restaurants and theatre. Capim Santo is very good with buffet on the weekends. Has outdoor patios. Good place for kids. Currently the Museum of Sweets is in the subsolo.
An Upscale mall with the fancy stores that charge an arm and a leg for a regular item (it also depends what is the definition of expensive to each one)... :-) . Restaurantes are nice (but overprices sometimes). The good thing is the Bradesco Theater located at the mall.
Parking facilities are convenient, and the security measures in place contribute to a safe shopping environment. The cleanliness of the mall is well-maintained, ensuring a pleasant and hygienic experience for shoppers.
Place for those who does not know the prices outside of Brazil, it is very expensive. Very clean, well illuminated but it is impossible to buy there, unless you are a politician that is robbing money.
Great Mall full of high end merchandise. I was shocked to find out on the upper floor of The Village is a rest lounge that is free to Mall goers. This is classy place my friend. …
Cool shopping mall but most of shops are too expensive, even the food ones. It has a cinema and an out-door space in the roof wich is beautifull and can sometimes host events
Great restaurants, cinema and shops, never packed and with a very nice theatre as well. One of the best options in Rio for cloudy days or evenings.
The super high end mall of the present time in Barra. Nice. Clean. Ambiance is not great. Very haughty. Not up to par with Hong Kong malls.
I was here long time ago, around 4 years.it is changed a lot. I see it as more light than was before. Good restaurants, shops, yep. Like it
less crowded than barra but still the prices are ridiculously high, but nice clean big mall for getting a bit of cool air and nice movie.
Interesting options if you got enough money, its one of fanciest malls in town, has a own apple store and beautiful Bradesco theather.
Everything is good there, shops, restaurants. However, later at night, all payment booths in the parking garage are closed. Not good.
Very clean and pleasant shopping mall and places to eat clothes are more expensive than UK but the have alot of stiff to choose from.
This is a very nice Mall, focused on high end International brands (Gucci, Prada, Etc.). There are also some great Brazilian brands.
I just love the place. Besides everything, people are very nice. In addition, one can get a wonderful view on the upper store!
Excellent and conducive place to go shopping with spoilt varieties of what have not if money can buy it you can get it here
Restaurants are great there....NAGA the best! Stores are exclusive brands and lovely place to walk.
Great mall! Full of tasty restaurants and beautiful stores. Great Wi-Fi that’s free for 2 hours.
