I am extremely disappointed in the lack of care that this clinic as developed about its community. It has become a clinic that is just interested in politics, hidden behind a rude manager. I phoned for a last minute appointment about my baby who the pharmacist stated the he needed to be seen by a gp within 24hours. I phoned the clinic which I had my first ever appointment when I was approximately 5 years old with a lovely dr Jim Lupton, he was my families doctor for 25 years. I followed them from oshannesy clinic to vineyard road medical clinic, I have brought my wife across to the clinic. And now in a time of need for my son I am told as he is a “new patient” due to our location they are unwillling to see him, I also don’t understand how a baby can have an established contact with a doctors clinic….I have heard stories and read reviews and complaints about the deteriation of this clinics reputation and how they are not a family centred clinic anymore, I struggled to believe this, but after speaking with the lady who answered the phone stating she was in management I 100% believe these reviews. Not only did she dismiss the fact that I am a current client of the clinic she became rude and escalated rejecting me the ability to make a verbal formal complaint and intimidating me to cease the phone call.

I have been a long term patient of Family Medical Centre and have found it to be one of the best medical centres in the community. I really like seeing the GP's that come out on rotation as I find them to be very informative and have a fresh outlook on medicine. I like that they have a variety of other providers such as physiotherapy in the practice also. The nursing staff are very supportive and helpful and find the reception staff very professional and good for an occasional laugh. I would give it 5 stars, but unfortunately waiting times can get a bit long if seeing one of the permanent GP's - so 4 stars (although this is no different at any other medical centre! Thanks FMC and keep up the good work. :)

This has been our regular clinic for many years. We had to rush our 5 year old down as she had become quite unwell. She had a fever, was lethargic, had a sore ear, episodes of vomiting, loss of appetite. Being a previous cancer patient we needed to see a doctor. This was all explained on the phone to the triage nurse, (as was her negative RAT) as we were sitting in the car park. We were told, ‘sorry we don’t take walk-ins after 5:00pm’ (website says 5:30pm), ‘sorry but we’ve already had 10 walk-ins today’ and ‘we can’t see you because I’ve spoken to the doctor who has just seen his last patient and he said go to the ED.’ Comprehensive and quality medical care? I think not!

Do not come here! Always waiting 30 minutes to 1 hour. I understand doctors attend to patients, however this is why there is an implemeted time schedule. Other clinics stick to their time schedules: there’s no reason why this clinic cant stick to theirs. It’s horrendous how long they take. If there is always going to be a delay one would think to extend the appointment times to allow for this. Then patients would not be sitting in the waiting area for an hour, after arriving on time to there expected appointment. There’s no communication, nor explanation for the delay. There are many other clinics to attend. Give this one a miss.

I attended the clinic yesterday after recently relocating to the area as I was on the hunt for a new GP to help me with some women’s health related problems; I saw Doctor Alexandra McCutchan and walked out of my appointment for the first time potentially ever feeling completely seen and heard by a doctor. Dr McCutchan validated my concerns and dug deeper into everything I told her. After spending the last 5 or so years being disappointed and sometimes even leaving appointments in tears this experience was so refreshing and I will recommend her to anybody that will listen.

Terrible phone service by reception staff!!! Don't tell patients "there's nothing we can do". For medical advice call should be forwarded to nurse or doctor, not reception staff decide the clinic is "super busy" couldn't possibly see someone else, who they know all the history as well. Oh and yet it's advertised online, walk-ins welcome... I guess only if the reception staff can cope.! Don't bother calling to give heads up, you'll be met with rude staff on the phone. Poor way to run a clinic... Disappointed this is the biggest clinic in area, and this is how it's run.....

Rosie the Osteopath is one of the most kindest and intelligent allied health practitioners ive ever met. She not only treated my back pain, but after only 2 sessions with her, completely cured it. I was told by many doctors that my hereditary arthritis in my lumbar and the pain it caused would be something i 'have to learn to live with', but thanks to Rosie, she has helped give me my life back. I have been attending Vineyard Medical Centre for many years now. I have found them to be very professional, courteous and most of all compassionate. My regular doctor is Dr Evans and she is amazing. She listens and always comes up with the right advice and treatments. I would have no hesitation in recommending Vineyard Medical Centre to anyone and everyone. All the doctors there are excellent and the facilities are fantastic.

Practice Nurses are AMAZING!!! Super friendly and took the fear of injections away from my very stressed child. He doesn't mind going there for his shots anymore. So glad we came to this praxis. Although I wish it was easier to get an appointment on the same day-which seems impossible and if you are sick and need immediate care you need to go somewhere else. Lots of doctors come and go which makes it hard to build rapport.

My daughter had to rush my grandson to the clinic with a blood covered face and concussed after a slide accident but they refused to see him because he didn’t have an appointment- I’ve never heard of anything so unbelievable. On arrival at the Gap Rd clinic She told the receptionist there and she said they have had a lot of patients come in and tell them the same thing. No ethical standards at Vineyard Rd. Disgusting!

This center had appointments available but refused to see our sick toddler because he was a new patient. There should always be exceptions for sick children. Update: clinic responded saying they are mostly booked out 4 weeks in advance yet, on they day, they had multiple appointments available. Their reasoning makes no sense, particularly when it comes to children.

My first time having a tooth removed awake under anaesthetic, I walked in terrified but was quickly and confidently assured I wouldn't feel a thing. Within 15 minutes the procedure was finished my tooth had been removed and it was done I couldn't believe it I walked out laughing. Wouldn't recommend anywhere else!!!

Sat in the waiting room for over an hour because after making an appointment, the reception staff (who couldn’t grasp the concept of seeing the next available doctor), didn’t feel that it was important to mention that you have to “check in” before your appointment. A+ for communication skills.

A little disappointed that my regular doctor left and was not given heads up or informed. Makes the centre seem more a bulk billed styled business. Than a health centre that actually provides a level of personal service.

Staff are always friendly when I attend the Centre & their status in regard to PPE & Corona Virus is exceptional. Temperature checked automatically when entering the building & you feel very safe whilst there.

50 minutes after appointment time and still not seen. This can only mean one thing. They book multiple appointments for the one timeslot to rake in the cash. The waiting room is full with very little movement.

The practice is well supported by a team of professional and friendly reception staff who respect your privacy. The doctors who work at the practice are obviously chosen for their knowledge and patient care.

A safe place where you can guarantee drs with excellence. Highly recommend seeing Jacinta O'Neill whether you a female or male. Admin staff are always great and welcoming.

Vinyard Road Medical is my Doctor's as iam disabled crushed spinal cord. So they try to help as much as possible Trish your a grate Doctor .. Thank you for being mine ☺️☺️

Terrible joint, I waited nearly 2 hours for a general GP visit. Not the first time either. Obviously busy place so take your business elsewhere.
