If you're looking to buy wine I can't recommend this place enough. I'm generally not a wine person but have been getting more into it lately, a friend recommended I stop by here and I'm really happy I listened! The staff was friendly and happy to answer any questions. Even though I basically asked for something red and cheap, I got the impression the employee I spoke with treats every customer with the same courtesy whether it's a cheapo like me or someone with more know-how looking for a particular expensive vintage. I went back a second time and had another pleasant experience so I'll be back again for sure. The prices are fantastic and the recommendations are on point. The world needs more stores like this.

Wonderful family-owned wine shop off of Miramar Road. They offer themed Tastings on Saturdays for $10-$20 which are really fun and totally worth it. Jose is normally pouring at the bar and is extremely well informed. You can even buy a glass from the bar if you find something you like. They also have a wine group on Friday afternoons for the serious wine aficionados. This group is for collectors and those very knowledgeable about wine. Everyone brings a bottle of wine from their cellar and shares with the group while they blind taste and attempt to guess the varietal, year, and region.

The store is under new ownership and the improvements are incredible! The shelves are now loaded with the absolute best quality (often highly allocated) wines from around the world. They also have a huge selection of half bottles, spirits, dessert wines, as well as some older vintages. I attended a cabernet tasting and all of the wines were thoughtfully selected and very good. Also, the wines I purchases were below the lowest price I could find anywhere on the internet. The new ownership definitely warrants another visit.

Nice people and an excellent selection of wines at what a little research has shown me are very fair prices. The $10 to $15 Saturday tastings are wonderful - attend a few and you'll learn a lot. You're welcome to bring your own food - bread, crackers, cheese - whatever you like. I drive all the way from La Mesa to meet friends at this place, because everybody loves it. Local treasure!

Terrific service, as well as the best prices in town! John Lindsay and staff are extraordinarily knowledgeable and helpful to find the most interesting wine at the best price. Selections from all over the world. Excellent tastings on Saturdays hosted by Jose - the friendliest wine server in town. You'll love this place on Miramar Rd just behind the Dennys restaurant!

I went to this wine shop Sunday afternoon. The server was well versed regarding the menu and wine list. I was happy to see he had at least one of the best red wine from the other country. It went well with my meal, and the dinner was superb too. I strongly recommend this place to everyone I know!

Amazing selection and the staff is very welcoming and friendly! Every Saturday they have $20 tastings where you get 6 pours for the theme of that day. And you can buy a bottle and pay corkage fee to drink there with friends.

An incredible wine shop with a quality selection. The people there know a lot and will guide you to what you want based on the occasion. Very friendly and will be my go-to shop for wine.
