Update: No, I am not a fake reviewer. I am a real former client of this spa who simply does not have their full name on their profile for privacy reasons. Do not go here for laser hair removal. I came with a groupon and was encouraged to continue on past 8 sessions to qualify for the touch up program. At first, the sessions seemed to be effective. However, after about 8 sessions, my results stopped (I was still quite patchy) and in some areas they actually reversed, even though I was following all of the instructions and staying consistent with my sessions. Every time I mentioned this, my tech told me that I had to be persistent and that there is no guarantee that laser treatments will remove all hair. I tried out a different laser location and saw MUCH better results in 1 session than I did in 10+ at Viso. My new tech told me she feels that there is some dishonesty about the laser used at this location (IPL, which is not discussed with clients, or potentially a poorly working laser). I'm not qualified to say if this is true or not, but I do know that it was definitely not worth the money to do laser here. I'm frustrated that so much time and money was spent on a service that was not transparently advertised. It's unfortunate that so many people can be taken advantage of by this and that there are no real consequences for businesses like this that do not deliver on what they promise. Avoid and spend your money elsewhere!

If you are looking for a Spa that not only provides the best treatments but also the best service in town this is your place! From the first time I had laser hair removal done I knew I was in good hands, Tammy is professional, experienced and has the best personality. She explained everything about the process in detail and answered all my questions, and she really took time to make sure I understood every step and that I felt completely comfortable. Since then I've gone back to see her for facials and treatment of my acne scars. The treatments have made such a difference in my skin for the first time in my life I feel like my skin is glowing!!! What I love the most about this place is that they don't try to sale you treatments or products you dont need, so many places take advantage of people who have insecurities about imperfections .. I know I've been suckered into it before, and I really appreciate that they don't do that. I look forward to my treatments and little me time that we all need and deserve. I used a Groupon for 3 microdermabrasion sessions prior to arriving and called in to book an appointment. At the time of the appointment, my first impressions of the place is small, but quaint, well lit and welcoming. The staff provided me consultation and advised not to take the microdermabrasion due to my face skin concerns. She advised me to take a more efficient treatment when I told her my goal for my face skin. After the 1st session, she recommended me to try their product and I am glad I took the risk without researching into their product as it was working effectively & efficiently. On my 2nd session, she noticed my improvements prior to my first visit and proceeded to enhance my session and made me try on new concepts that could further enhance my face skin goal and it did it again, I was impressed. Overall, after a month's treatment & following her recommendation in improving face skin health I am satisfied. I notice the improvements & I will be coming back to maintain a health face skin.

I had found Viso Medi Spa as I was walking by heading to lunch. I saw they did laser hair removal and called to get more information. I spoke with Tammy the owner who was more than helpful answering all my questions and giving me rough pricing info over the phone. I had booked an appointment based upon how comfortable I had already felt with Tammy. Once I arrive for my appointment I was greeted and Tammy walked me through the entire process of my treatment. She also customized a package that would work best for me and safe me money in the long run. She was not pushy made sure I was comfortable with everything before proceeding with the procedure and payment. The salon was clean and the treatment itself was less painful and took less time than at previous salons I had been to. I can only speak for the great experience I had with laser hair removal but I know I will back to try other services in the future. Thanks Tammy and the Viso Staff!

Awesome HydraFacial Guru! Imagine you're chatting with your neighbours, and they ask, "Hey, do you happen to know a good dentist?" How would you respond? Well, you wouldn't recommend just anyone, would you? Instead you would recommend a dentist worthy of that recommendation...someone who is good at what they do and consistently provides great service. In other words, someone who is referral worthy. That word -- referral-worthy -- is very important to me. It describes the kind of service rendered by Tammy and her lovely staff. That being said, I will not shy away from making my pit stop right at the VISO MEDI SPA & BOUTIQUE in Calgary to get that HydraFacial from the guru I know - Tammy! I hope you feel that qualifies Tammy and her staff as referral-worthy! I recommend you pass by and prove me wrong. Viso is a really great spot. i love the vibe here, Tammy is super sweet and values her clients the most! The staff are friendly and honest & listened to my concerns. As budget was an issue and knowing these are higher end products they had a sample pkg for 30 days to try the product out! WOW awesome idea! That meant replacing certain products in full size when the sample size is empty. You use the moisturizer and facewash often but there was also a toner in the pkg which you would use less of so its nice to be able to replace things on a need to basis vs spending $200 on a bunch of products you don’t know how to use! Talk about communication! Tammy even gave me a tour to show me around on my first visit before I ever booked any treatments! Never had that before! Awesome experience at VISO, Professional staff + Nice and clean environment, great customer service.

I have been going to Viso Medi Spa for about a year. I have had many amazing facials here. During my visits I have explained to the owner Tammy that my laser hair removal from another clinic is not working at all. My hair did not change at all! They were using the Inmode laser at this place. Tammy suggested I try their New Spirit Laser. I started the treatments with Viso in July. I just had my 4th treatment today. Here's my results. About 8 days after the first treatment I was shocked, as hairs were just popping out of me. I could not believe it. After my third service a had very little hair. I would say well over 50% hair reduction at this point and it grows very slow. They are now going to space my treatments further apart. This is just unbelievable. It is the best laser hair removal I have ever had. I wish this was the first place I ever went. Thank you Tammy

Services that I received from Viso Medi Spa & Boutique are more beyond my expectation, prices were fair and the result definitely worth every penny of it. The environment is clean and comfortable. The girls there are very nice and they definitely knows their stuff! I was there for acne treatment and had their IPL laser, facial and peel. In just a few weeks, I can see significant result. I struggled with acne for year and year (7 years at least), and I've tried countless acne treatment product in the past and non really worked. The staff there really take the time to diagnostic your skin problem and help you every way they can to get you the result you want. Each time I visit Viso Medi Spa & Boutique, it feels like home. I would totally refer Viso to all my friends. This is definitely the spa for me...hopefully is the spa for you too!

I drove downtown and it took me about half an hour to find this place and the only place i could find parking charged me $20 dollars but I was getting late so I just paid and quickly went in. I was greeted by the woman inside and she told me to have a seat, and right after I sat down another woman walked in claiming she had an appointment for 1:00 also. The woman in the boutique said that my name wasn't in the system and they mistakenly double booked. This place is very unorganized and the staff is very rude. I do not recommend it at all in fact after I had paid $20 for nothing i called another more reliable salon who took me in right away and did an amazing job. You can find much better salons then this.

Bought a Groupon for 3 microdermabrasion sessions. 1st treatment - with Gabby , extremely pushy to buy their products. Treatment lasted about 15 min. I would say OK. 2nd treatment - with the owner (I believe) Lasted about 15 -20 min. This time the girl applied herself a bit more. I had deep exfoliation and nice face massage afterwards. 3rd treatment - with Gabby again. Lasted exactly 7 min ( this includes the time of her wetting the towel and getting the mashine ready). Did not even bother to do the spot between my eyes and my nose. No massage, or anything else. I know I got it from Groupon and they make less money on me, but who makes $30 in 7 min. I would not return.

Tammy is absolutely amazing. I was nervous about trying Micro-Needling on my face and neck and she was so friendly and explained everything and was always helpful with all my questions and made me feel at ease. The procedure was simple and my skin texture is now so soft and supple and at the same time much firmer and my wrinkles have lessened drastically, my sun/age spots have also faded drastically and my pigmentation is so much better and it has also helped my eye bags and my serums absorb so much better. I am regular client and will be trying other services in the future. The spa itself is very clean and she has a great variety of products!

I have been going to Viso Medi Spa for years for all of my skin care. I am happy. I love the facials at Viso Medi Spa. Tammy and her team of Estheticians are very good and very knowledgeable at what they do. Recently I had a Hydrafacial when I was there for my Laser Hair Removal and it was such a nice facial. My skin was smooth and glowing and felt like it was breathing again. I have also had other services here. Microneedling here is very good. I have been to other places but I find Viso to be much better. I have also had IPL Photofacials and had excellent results for my hyperpigmentation. Thank you Viso. I will see you again soon.

I absolutely love Tammy and her staff! They are so well trained and knowledgable about the products and services that they offer, they have always steered me in the right direction and I have never left Viso unhappy with my results! I find their prices to be fair and they are always so accommodating. Had ingrown toenail problems for months that started really affecting my ability to do the things I enjoy. Went for a few medical pedicures around Calgary and though they helped the problem temporarily, it came with a lot of blood and a painful healing process only to start all over. Was told that surgery was my only option to fix the problem. Was then told by a friend that Tammy at Viso offered a treatment that could fix it. Went in to be fitted for a bracket that forced a normal growth pattern and within a few weeks it sorted itself out. Absolutely amazing, 100% suggest Viso to anyone suffering any problems with their feet.

I’ve been going to Viso Medi Spa for a few years to get facials and laser. Prior to Viso I had been to other clinics and I didn’t feel like I was getting the results or the care that I should be. On my first visit to Viso, the staff taught me more about the services I was getting and they used a device to look inside my skin so that they knew exactly what service was required. I had the privilege of receiving a Crystal Microdermabrasion and a Viso Customized facial. AMAZING! I was warmly received by Tammy (the owner) and her lovely staff. Tammy took time to explain all the treatment and products with me. She was generous with her time and expertise. I left the Spa feeling so overwhelmed with amazement and couldn't stop touching my face and looking at the great results. It was my first time getting laser hair removal done, so I had a lot of questions and was nervous. However, Emby made me feel so at ease and answered all of my questions very thoroughly. I enjoyed having almost like a mini crash course about hair and laser therapy too…being educated helped me understand a lot more about the procedure. The clinic is also super clean and gorgeous, with a “zen” like feel to it. You can tell that the team at Viso are super passionate and detail oriented. Can’t wait for more treatments! They seem fairly reasonably priced as well. Will be back for sure!

I decided to try Viso Medi Spa for laser hair removal and had a wonderful first time experience. The spa itself is very clean, inviting, and lovely, as was my technician, Emby. She was very knowledgeable and really took the time to explain everything about the procedure during the consultation. I never felt rushed or pressured. During the treatment Emby made sure that I was comfortable the entire time and answered any questions I had. Overall, Viso Spa has a warm, professional atmosphere that is focused on clients, making it a place that I would highly recommend.

The little spa is very unassuming at first, on the edge of china town. The space is very welcoming, all the staff are professional and informative before and during the service process, they answered all my questions. There is no pressure sales, very reasonably priced. Every time I've been there its like coming back to an old friend. It doesn't feel like a drag going there or a simple function. I've been very happy to be a customer and friend there over the last few months. In a way I looked for services I may want, just so that I could keep coming back in.

I am an Asian lady and as you know lashes are not one of the things that we are blessed with. I came to see Carolina for my lash lift and tint. Now my eyes, they look amazing. The spa as a whole is very clean, friendly and professional. I used to get lashes extension for years and of course over time I developed an allergy to the glu. When I heard about the lift and tint and as an alternate to extension I tried it at another office and the result was not this great. Thank you Carolina for making me feel beautiful. I had a really bad experience few years ago and was always scared of laser hair removal and it took me awhile to convince myself to try it again. After doing an extensive research, I found Viso Medi Spa that had very positive reviews, and I decided to give it a try. They put me at ease completely as soon as I started my first session and I can’t say thank you enough for how amazing my first experience was. I have had IPL facials done in the past, and after receiving 2 IPL facial at Viso within a month of Each other I have seen very little results. At other Salons I have seen better results. I’m not sure if it’s the quality of the lasers, or the technician. Although she was friendly and professional, I didn’t feel like she was listening to my concerns and addressing my problem areas. On my second appointment she did not ask me any follow up questions to my first treatment and how I felt about the results.

From the moment you walk through the door, you know this place is special with its calming and peaceful vibe. Tammy the owner, was fabulous. And this was one of my favorite experiences. I've been going to Viso for approximately 5 years now for facials. I've been attended to by all the staff there and the service has been impeccable so far. I suffer from dry skin, sensitive skin with ingrown hairs and their products have helped resolved my situation. I recommend their services. The staff is ver professional, clean, prices are affordable and the service is first class. As a male client I have never feel comfortable with their services.

I've been going to Viso for the past few months for microderm treatments. The service is always top notch and the ladies working there are always friendly and polite. They offer advice when I ask for it, but don't push me to buy products or any type of add-ons. Lovely spa and staff. I have had two crystal microdermabrasion treatments with Tammy. She is amazing, very friendly and she knows her stuff when it comes to skin. After my first treatment my skin was soft and I had a 50% reduction in my black heads. I had my second treatment today and I can see the pores on my nose and cheeks have shrunk significantly. I would highly recommend this spa to anyone seeking great service and skincare results.

First time coming here. My friend and I needed some self care and got facials. Very clean and friendly service. We originally booked for a deep cleansing facial but when we arrived they mentioned that we have more dryer skin and would recommend the viso customizable facial that is more moisturizing for our skin. I recieved laser hair removal treatments and loved my results! The spa was clean and asthetically pleasing, the staff is friendly and Tammy is always accommodating. I always appreciate giving my business to people who are well informed and educated on their products. A couple years ago I switched over to the Medicalia skincare line and have had great results overall with diminished acne, redness and wrinkles!

I went into the Viso medi spa and booked an appointment with Emby for laser hair removal. First off, the clinic is so welcoming and clean. Lots of products nicely displayed. Emby was so friendly and knowledgeable. She made me feel so comfortable. It has been about month since my laser treatment and I have seen a huge difference in the hair that have grown back. Significantly finer. I will definitely be back.

Tammy and Tessa were amazing. Extremely friendly and knowledgable. It was my first facial and I was a little worried that I would be super red after the treatment but Tammy suggested I try the new Casmara Mask (I believe that’s what its called) and there was no redness on my face at all afterwards. Overall an amazing experience and I will definitely be going back!

Absolutely loved the getting laser hair removal here. I got full legs and Brazilian. Jill was absolutely amazing and made me feel super comfortable. Tammy was also super friendly and really enjoyed speaking with them both. Would highly recommend going here for laser. The hydra facial is also amazing as well :) 10/10 recommend

Tessa was amazing. As a guy i've always had trouble knowing what works and what doesnt for my skin and i've never really had a clue how to properly take care of my skin. I've been doing permanent hair removal at Viso for a long time and I've always liked Rachel's service and somehow the results were already very good. But when she suggested the new Spirit Laser Removal treatment I saw a huge difference, as I had an even better, faster and less painful result. I highly recommend it.

I have been receiving services at Viso for almost a year and have been extremely satisfied with the results. The place is very clean which is the first thing I look at in salons. The staff is very nice and highly professional, and know how to make you feel at ease. Highly recommend!

I've been going here for years, and love it here. Professional, clean, and you can find specials. I've done microderms, peels, facials, and laser treatments - and have been happy with the results. I just wished there was an easier way to book online....the tool is just ok.

I bought their groupon microdermabrasion and my experience was excellent! Tammy did a good job but the new girl Jessie was amazing!! She spent time working on the areas that i asked her to. And she was veryy sweet. I really enjoyed my three sessions.
