Big mistake on my part. They only carry basic state insurance which is .30 cents a pound and the reason it is worded that way is because the most expensive items are electronic items. The boy carried my 65 inch TV in by himself and grabbed the screen with his thumb and cracked the glass. My television is junk and the most I can be reimbursed by their insurance is less then $8.00. The truck they used should be in the scrap yard and not moving people's furniture. They told me to show them a route without going on toll ways or Express ways because it could not get up to the speed limit they require. It sounded like it had no exhaust and the exhaust fumes were poisoning the workers who were in the truck. The testimony of the workers was that they were paid cash and they had no official company paperwork when I paid them for the job. The workers they used were European immigrants and I am sure they are being exploited financially because of the greed of the stewards of Vitesse moving. If I was not in an emergency situation I would have canceled the job. If any state officials read this please do your job and shut down this criminal enterprise. The IRS needs to prosecute them for tax evasion. I don't know who they paid to post the positive responses for their company but they are nothing but LIES!!!!!!!!!

Alex and his team at Vitesse Moving & Transfer did an amazing job with our cross country move! We had price checked several companies in the area from u-pack, to doing it ourselves with a U-Haul, and called a few interstate movers. Luckily, we stumbled upon Vitesse. Alex was very professional, very quick in replying, and gave us a great price. He even came out to the house to do an assessment, gave us packing tips and recommended some changes to how we were packing. This sold us on Vitesse, as Alex is genuinely nice and since he's been in the business for so long, he knows what he's talking about. With his recommendations, not a single item was broken. They handled all of our things with care, making sure that bulky objects didn't hit corners of walls or door frames. The whole team was polite, efficient and very professional. It was a pleasure doing business with you, Alex. Next time you are in our area, come for a visit!

So I used this company on 6/10, they showed up early, that was the only good thing, everything down hill from there. I had a box of glassware clearly marked fragile glassware totally broken up, I explained when I booked them it was one bedroom but I have a lot of stuff. I guess that meant nothing to them. I asked that they take the big things because if time ran out which it did I would take the smaller things. They were suppose to put my bed together thank God someone sat on it before I was suppose to go to sleep because that didn’t happen. I called the owner he did offer to send someone the next day and not charge a trip charge, my move was already $1k and I know it was way too much for the quality of work I received. I highly don’t recommend this company

I utilized the services of Vitesse Moving in May 14, 2023 after they were referred to me by a colleague who had recently used them. I received my quote the same day I made contact and the quote was fairly price for moving from IL to IN. They came with two trucks and 3 movers. They were clean, efficient and friendly. The never stopped working. No breaks from start to finish. They handled my belongings with care, and it was obvious they take pride in their work. Melissa was quick to answer any questions and was great with communication. I always had up to date information and drivers had my contact information and called when they arrived. I paid the price I was quoted-no hidden fees or added charges. Thumbs up for a job well done!

Not sure if the positive reviews on here for this moving company are actually legit because my experience was very bad. They didn't help with packing as they promised and they spent 6 and a half hours on a job that shouldn't have taken more than 4 hours in total even though they sent 3 movers but only 1 really who did most of the work cause the other two were mostly out, talking, smoking and playing on their phones. Called the owner to ask him to talk to the two movers about helping out and not wasting my time, the owner responded with yelling at me and threatening to send his movers away before finishing the job!! I would never ever use them again nor do I recommend their service to anyone.

This company is true meaning of customers come first from brad to melissa from dante and the other mover that came out on oct 30 2016 , i mistakenly got the time mixed up and they showed up at the right time when it was my fault but they apologized and still did a professional and fast job will recommend them, and they are officially my only moving company

This is the worst moving company they are definitely not professional movers . The men arrived on time that was the only positive thing I have to say . They smelled like alcohol and didn’t know how to move furniture properly and are NOT cautious with fragile items .

Cancelled the night before, then said they could come, then cancelled again one hour before they were supposed to arrive, leaving me with no one and no time to book anyone. Be weary. If they don't want to come, they might cancel with no notice.

Wonderful experience, Melissa, who I worked with to setup the move was great. The three gentlemen that did the move were phenomenal. Highly efficient, polite, professional. Truly a great process and that is hardly ever the case when moving.

They are so efficient and very proffesional! They took extreme care with my items while moving them such a great team! I will definitely be referring all my friends and family and will hire them for any future moves I might have!

Boys helped me with my moving from evanston to skokie, the whole apartment was moved in less than 5 hours.Very professional service, was fast, organized and done very careful. Will highly recommend. Keep up the good job.:)

I had a great experience with them, on top of which they were able to come on shorter notice than most in the area and were low in cost. All the furniture was wrapped in blankets during the move.
