WaFd went above and beyond in their support and help to us through the home buying process. We had an extremely difficult and drawn out situation with new construction. Alex, the branch manager, was a real advocate for us and fought hard to get us an extremely competitive rate that no other mortgage lender could come close to. Each and every time we walked into this branch we were greeted warmly and helped promptly. Alex was available at all times for our questions and needs. Couldn't recommend Alex and his team at this branch enough!

After moving here from California and banking with Exchange Bank for over 6 years, I opened an account here at WAFD - best branch I could've chosen too! Everyone here is very kind and go through extra measures to offer their support - always welcoming you with a warm aroura when first arriving! WaFd is a premier bank for customer service! The Columbia City branch manager, Alex is absolutely my favorite banker. I didn't even know I could have a favorite banker, but he has worked with my family for a YEAR on a hellish home building process. We're now in the process of transferring accounts away from some other brands over to WaFd.

I've been banking with Washington Federal since 2006 when they were First Mutual Bank. I recommend them to my clients that I set up, review, and train one-on-one in QuickBooks and Quicken in Rainier Beach and South Seattle. Why? Because unlike US Bank, they allow free downloads into both of those software packages.

I have been with this bank for four years now and they have done nothing but good things for me. Each time you walk in you’ll be treated with a warm welcoming and a fresh smell of popcorn. Sad to see that I have to switch banks due to moving but I will always remember this place as a perfect first bank. :)

Friendly place but one teller is very slow, after 45 minutes she still trying to fill out a transaction form and the manager is no help. This is the second time with this lady.
