"I have gone to this pharmacy for the same prescription for 11 months, every single time they have to order the medication because they do not keep anything stocked when my medication is time sensitive, also they asked me which brand they should order when they call me to order it……they should follow what my prescriber ordered not what I tell them! Furthermore, every time I go in they tell me the pharmacist needs to work on my prescription and then question me like it is my fault when I have done my part, I have waited for an hour each time, and I have been asked to come back 3 times in one day for one medication"
"I have been using Walgreens pharmacy for a while"

"I placed an order to be delivered"
0 stars for pharmacy customer service. For an employee that got a pharmacy degree, it’s pretty ironic that there is an extreme lack of education. Pharmacist is completely incompetent. I was on hold for over 45 minutes. He kept answering and putting me on hold. Finally picked up and said he had to check on my prescription. Didn’t answer the phone for another 25 minutes and deliberately would not tell me an address of a Walgreens where I could go to receive my prescription in stock which is an urgent matter considering that this prescription only has a 5 day window that I can pick it up. He got frustrated at the fact that I called him out for putting me on hold for so long. Said: “I’m not doing this. We are too busy, the phone won’t stop ringing” And HUNG UP. I then drove to the pharmacy where he was standing in the back not on the phone and not doing anything. I called him out again for LYING. He said it wasn’t him that I spoke to even though he was the only male back there and it was the same voice. He then told the manager that he did in fact give me the address of another Walgreens. Another blatant lie. So unprofessional. This is your JOB and you’re on the clock. He refused to call the other pharmacy to transfer my prescription saying that I was rude and he would not help. The manager got called over and tried to help as best as she could, and eventually sided with me after she realized what the situation was. The pharmacist clearly does not like white people and is openly racist laughing at me for being upset and wanting my time sensitive prescription on time. I’ll be reporting to the corporate Walgreens.
I have gone to this pharmacy for the same prescription for 11 months, every single time they have to order the medication because they do not keep anything stocked when my medication is time sensitive, also they asked me which brand they should order when they call me to order it……they should follow what my prescriber ordered not what I tell them! Furthermore, every time I go in they tell me the pharmacist needs to work on my prescription and then question me like it is my fault when I have done my part, I have waited for an hour each time, and I have been asked to come back 3 times in one day for one medication. Even going as far to say, that my insurance does not cover the medication, when nothing about my insurance plan, coverage, or address has changed….probably just a ploy to get me to leave. I am stating this here because my expression of anger and annoyance was not taken care of when expressed at the pharmacy. Their role should be to aid a patient in obtaining a prescription not preventing it!!!!!
I have been using Walgreens pharmacy for a while. I came to pick up my prescription and the girl told me it was there but they needed my Doctors DEA number. I told them my doctor is on file and I get the prescription every month and it hasn't changed. Went to alot of trouble with my Doctors office very confused about that. Finally went back to the pharmacy to find out that was a mistake, they couldn't see which insurance I use. I have been using good rx for years. I told the girl I had to wait 4 days for their mistake and she yelled at me and said I should have told rhen who my insurance was even though it's been the same way I pay every month. She yelled again so I asked her name and she said Cuara that's C-A-R-I A and that's when I called corporate and still no reply. Needless to say I have my prescriptions transferred to Publix. Love this new customer service
What's going on with the farmaci they are not picking up the phone it wasn't like that before I have been for 3 years with them .If you call a Sunday even though is 9 am they will never pick up . And during Monday - Friday they will pick up sometimes but after 30 mins. I just call the store to ask what is happening farmaci is not picking up and the lady that just pick up at this moment she just put me on hold with our saying one moment please , so rude . I'm not receiving my text messages to let me know my prescription are ready just a text saying if I want to refill I send yes and been waiting for 3 weeks that's why I'm calling I don't have time to be going to the store to refill and then wait or returning. This Walgreens are getting very bad even the one at Walgreens of Southside. I think I going to change .
I placed an order to be delivered. This store uses DoorDash to deliver items. The DoorDash driver left items outside the gate about a mile from the residence. The items were left in the ground. I called the store and person stating that they were the manager could not provide DoorDash information so I could contact them. She instructed to figure out how to contact DoorDash myself, although I ordered through Walgreens and DoorDash. Do not use this Walgreens. This manger had no skills and refused to tell me when the next manger would come on shift. I finally contacted the pharmacy and received the time for a different manager. Walgreens should consider training folks acting like managers but coming across as idiots.
The drive thru has been closed for some time due to it not working. There is a number for you to call for curbside service however when you call they tell you they cannot come take a prescription order from you and you have to bring it in. Yes a pharmacy is making people go inside and stand in line and wait during COVID. then once you wait in line and give them the prescriptions they take your cell phone number to tell you it'll be 30 to 45 minutes and they'll text you when it's ready. Maybe spend some money and fix your drive through, accommodate your customers, not the other way around. Last time I will take anything there.
Long waiting times when attempting to reach the pharmacy by phone. They are incapable of providing instructions as to how certain functions work like the delivery service they say they offer. I found out also that if you need covid medications delivered to your home for obvious reasons (you are contagious) they say it takes 4 to 6 days (absurd) they only option if you want to start your covid medication is to go pick them up and there is not an assigned area for those who are obviously contagious and have to pick up their prescriptions due to their lack of delivery system being set up more efficiently.
I don’t usually leave reviews for anything, but the treatment I received at the San Jose & Baymeadows location by the pharmacist and his staff was deplorable. They weren’t busy (2 cars in drive thru and I was the only one in store) yet they couldn’t even take more than 30 seconds to actually pay attention to my concern about a certain medication. There was also a staff member in the background that kept mumbling things directed at me. The lack of professionalism and the horrific bedside manner was disgusting. They should all be retrained on how to speak to fellow human beings.
I normally don't leave reviews unless they are positive, however, the pharmacy services here are worth mentioning. I live just down the road from this Walgreens, therefore, I switched this to my primary pharmacy. It has been nearly two days since my prescriptions were sent from my physician, on Walgreens' automated system it says my medications are "still in process," and when I call to speak to someone, I'm on hold for over 20+ minutes. I would rather go to a pharmacy out of the way if it means better service. Of note: CVS on San Jose has always been responsive.
The worst service a pharmacy could possibly deliver. Have problems with every new Rx and refill. Receive text messages Rx is ready to be picked up and never is. Usually say they haven’t heard from the doctor but I was standing in the doctor’s office when Rx was transmitted and receipt confirmed. Phone calls are not answered or placed on hold for 20-30 minutes every time. Often call is dropped after many minutes on hold. Employees are rude to customers and unconcerned. Seems someone from the corporate office would step in and correct this behavior or else.
Cashier in pharmacy told me I would have to pay $47 for syringes since they didn't have my prescription or go without my insulin (which could kill me). Getting in the parking lot is almost impossible depending on the direction you are traveling. Prices are extremely high especially on medicine (like all walgreens). In my opinion they are crooks that take advantage of sick people. I have prescriptions that are $50 cheaper at other pharmacies than the price at walgreens with insurance. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place anytime it is possible!!!
WORST Walgreens EVER! You can literally go anywhere else and get better service....and I do mean ANYWHERE! If you call needing to speak with someone, hahaha good luck because they just hang the phone up to stop it from ringing.... Sometimes after you have been on hold for 15-20 minutes. You really want to speak with someone, you have to physically go there in person. After 30 years of faithfully using Walgreens, I have given this one so many chances but I'm done...I can no longer stand the absolute incompetent daily operations of this place.
The pharmacy at this location is terrible. Half the time they don't pick up the phone when you try to call them. They just put you on hold then hang up. I had to call another store about a prescription that appeared to be expired despite having been filled recently. The Pharmacy "manager" didn't even look at the bottle or ask any questions at all. Refused to assist or offer any useful information. I NEVER make scenes in public but I ended up in a shouting match with this buffoon simply because he was so dismissive and unhelpful.
The pharmacy here never answers the phones and if they do you get put on hold for a long time. I wasted half my lunch break waiting to talk to someone, getting put on hold, and then never hearing anything again. This happened twice, and the first time someone actually answered, I heard a breath, then they hung up! Transferred to a new Walgreens, made a call, and it was answered in about 1-2 minutes and I was put on hold twice for a total of maybe 5 minutes. Not dealing with this one again.
I never leave bad reviews but this pharmacy is easily the worst I have ever dealt with. They have a lazy attitude and do not do what is promised. I see many other reviews about this pharmacy for the same reasons. They did not fulfill the services needed in anything close to a timely manner, were unprofessional and lacked any customer care. DO NOT GO HERE. Over 10 years and hundreds of Walgreens visits and this is hands down the worst. First and last time I'll ever go here.
The absolute worst service I have experienced. ‘MIRACLE’ was the young lady’s name. The rudest, laziest attitude. I came down just for a quick purchase and was completely ignored was just told to wait when I was good to go just because she wanted to mess around with her coworker — also refused to give me her name. I don’t understand how people like this are employed and how this type of treatment with customers is allowed
Ok people... just want you to know that this walgreens pharmacy was awesome!! Needed help in a pinch and they provided it! The entire pharmacy team was awesome. My daughter was leaving on a flight the next day and needed a rapid covid test. They were exceptional in providing information and testing. Everyone was extremely polite and responsive in our extreme time of need. Excellent pharmacy team! Thanks!
Walgreens pharmacy has to be the absolute worst when it comes to their phone skills (OR LACK OF PHONE SKILLS)! I typically try not to call the pharmacy however in todays market we never know if the pharmacy will have your medication or not. So, I am currently on hold with Walgreens pharmacy and have been for 25 minutes! This is ridiculously! The worst part is this happens every time you call them!
Tried to get help on photo department and the manager and clerk, neither one, was able to help me with the photo developing machine. After a half hour or more of trying to figure out why the machine was arbitrarily putting in random copy numbers, I gave up and left. Shouldn't someone know how those machines work? I understand everyone is short staffed but that doesn't mean ignoring the obvious.
Pharmacy is great! Just watch out for the angry colonel sanders lookalike that parks his truck like he never learned to color inside the lines in pre-k and then wants to be a donkeyhole about it. He buys his modelo here regularly, I assume. If he is reading this, I hope you find happiness, learn how to park/apologize, and stop being a donkeyhole. Everyone else have a great day!
This pharmacy is filled will excellent people. They care about every individual and they do the best they can to get everyones medicine done in a timely fashion. Yes there is a wait but there is also alot of demands for medication nowadays! I appreciate the hard work and dedication! Thank you
The supervisor of this pharmacy whose name is Diane is extremely rude and unprofessional. I’m never going to set foot in this pharmacy again. That must be why this pharmacy is always empty compared to others because they put supervisors who have no respect.
I was told my meds will not be filled even 1 day early. I've never been treated so bad by an extremely rude pharmacist. 3 day window usually is ok. If not no problem, but I lapsed 3 months in a row here before transferring.. What a shizshow....
I used to have Publix, but this Walgreens was closer to my house. I was hesitant at first, but now I'm sure I made the best decision. The pharmacy staff is wonderful, especially Wanda. They call you by name and are very friendly.
Wouldn't give a star if I didn't have to. The Pharmacy Department people never answers the phone. They will be the next company to go out of business because they do not care about customer service. They have lost my business.
Slow, restocked my prescription when I explicitly said I was coming up. Waited in line for over 30 minutes for them to tell me they need to fill it again but not before they pretended they couldn't t find it in the system.
When you can start answering the phones and stop continuously putting your customers on hold repeatedly you may receive a higher rating. Until then it should be zero stars for no help at all.
As my friend and I were checking out the clerk thought it was a good idea to answer a text message instead of finishing ringing my friend and I up. No wonder they have 2.6 stars.
Very kind pharmacist and techs! They helped me get a prescription for my daughter even though it was almost closing time. Thank you for helping my family avoid a sleepless night!
Great clean store. Friendly employees. Professional pharmacy. I have never had a problem there. Not sure what the other peoples issues are. I guess they are impatient.
On hold for quite sometime. The tech answered the phone only to put me on hold again. Then laughed at me when I asked for my inhaler to be ready in an hour. Laughed.
The pharmacy has the worst customer service. The lady with curly hair is very rude. She treat people like we are annoying her. Planing to transfer my prescriptions
the Pharmacy tech (a middle-aged lady with gray scrub) is very very rude, seems no one trained her that majority of her job duty is custom services...
It's a clean, well stocked Walgreens. Pharmacy at peak hours (i.e. before and after regular office job hours) is ed packed usually with quite a wait.
Horrible experience w/ pharmacy. They pick up the phone and put you back on hold again for extremely long times. Find a different store to go to.
The pharmacy here is RIDICULOUS!!! Don’t answer the phones, lazy , and definitely don’t know how to talk to people! Smh do better!!
They are always helpful. I got my COVID shots from them. They will help find cheap drug prices for you
Need a better pharmacist, she's rude, not intelligent, and has absolutely no customer service skills.
Takes forever to pick-up a prescription at the drive thru; this has been the case 9 out of 10 times.
Good for two for one vitamins and the pharmacy when you have an urgent prescription.
Pharmacy and Front staff are great. Drive thru has been fixed and easy transaction.
The pharmacy does NOT know how to answer the phone and it’s really aggravating.
Chronic short staffed. Not able to provide information on your prescriptions
People from the pharmacy have the worst customer service and a Bad attitude.
the employees especially at the pharmacy are horrible and very RUDE
Great place to get your medicine & other heath products
Friendly and helpful staff. Pharmacist was super kind!
Been on hold for 15 minutes. This place is a mess.
Trying to reach this place is a nightmare …
May be the worst Walgreens ever
Pharmacy hung up on me twice.
The employees are very nice
