I put my refill request in Sunday night and it is Wednesday and my refill has not been processed. I go to pick it up because obviously it should be ready, right? NOT! This was my first time going through the drive-through the line was long, and when I get to the window.Coy who had a fake friendliness until he went to the back and noticed my prescription had not been filled yet. Coy stories to tell me in a nasty rude way that my prescription is not feel and why did I come to pick it up if I haven’t received notification that it had been filled. I told him that it’s been almost 3 days it should be and this is the third time that this has happened. The last two times I went to pick it up. They told me that it was at a warehouse and they do not transfer the prescription until the person comes to pick it up. When I wasn’t going for that, I asked for the pharmacist. Coy proceeded to tell me I needed to tell Walgreens that they need to her more help and it’s short staff, which is 0% not my problem. Coy also told me that I can go to a different Walgreen’. Aliyha the pharmacist who came to the window looking unbothered that my prescription was not filled told me that it’s not filled yet come back when it is. I then told Cou to give me the corporate phone number and walked off. Then Coy had the nerves to tell me when I called to complaint to let corporate know that they need to hire more help they are short staffed. Sir that sounds like a y’all problem. I called corporate and talk to Tiffany a customer service rep who says she’s been having problems with her not being able to hear the customers that call in to complain. Geez …You know what go fill your prescriptions with Walmart, CVS, even the hospital before going here! I will be putting a complaint in with Texas Medical Board

I went in today to receive a Hepatitis A shot in preparation for my travels to SE Asia. The Walgreens closest to my house (not this one) called ahead to make sure they had it in stock. Waited with two others for awhile while all employees were in the back without any acknowledgement. A young girl with filthy hands and fingernails (caked with dirt) and scars on her arms finally came to the register and took forever to get this underway. Extremely unfriendly and never once made eye contact. Asked me to wait "in the waiting room" for the injection. Waited for quite some time with NO OTHER customers before asking how much longer. The equally unfriendly pharmacist (Abrahams?), who also never made eye contact during my interaction, appeared and ultimately gave me the injection which took 10 seconds. I really don't know why these people went into fields which require interaction with customers. You actually have to go out of your way to be as rude and unfriendly as these people. The pharmacist especially needs to reconsider his career choice PS, I'm a white female physician at the Children's Hospital up the street so I'm used to interacting with people. Seriously pharmacist - find another job because you clearly hate the one you currently have.

I have been waiting several days via the Walgreens App for two prescriptions. I assumed that they had been trying to get ahold of my Doctor to renew refills because both of them were at zero refills. The status of my prescriptions never changed for 5 days so I decided to call the pharmacy. I chose the option to talk to someone in the pharmacy. After about 3 minutes the automated attendant told me that there was one call ahead of me. So I waited and waited and waited. Then someone in the pharmacy would pick up the call and immediately put me back on hold. That happened 5 times and finally after 25 minutes i gave up. I then called the store and asked for the manager. I was told the manager's name was Cal. But unfortunately was unavailable because he was on a conference call for the next 30 minutes. i just assumed leaving a message to have the manager call me was probably fruitless. So I called my Doctor's office and found out Walgreens never communicated with them. I have been going to this Walgreens pharmacy for 15 years and believe have put up with a lot bad service over the years. I have finally decided to move my account to CVS. Not sure it will be any better, but it can't be any worse.

My dr called a prescription in on Friday, called later their recording said my prescription was not ready call back, they would notify me. Saturday again no call, called Sunday was told the prescription got list in their file they would get it filled! This prescription was for fluid on my heart as I’m waiting on heart transplant. I let the young lady behind the pharmacy counter was not happy the way this was handled, he’d response was sorry! Said she would tell her manager, checked today four days later nothing was noted! Again today one person on the pharmacy desk! Line of people waiting. Waited thirty minutes to pickup prescription! They really don’t care about anyone! You try to bring to their attention it’s like ok just leave and get over it! Such great customer service!

It's unfortunate that Walgreens has the lowest prices for prescriptions, because this location has the worst customer service I've ever experienced in a pharmacy. I have, on more than one occasion, waited either in the drive thru line, or inside the store for over 30 minutes to pick up a prescription. I have also consistently had to wait on hold for 20 minutes, then had my call disconnected and had to call back several more times to speak with a human. Their automated refill service does not work correctly, and they are not even able to deliver prescriptions same day as promised (but will happily charge you $8 for the service and refuse to refund it.). The staff is rude, and don't seem to care that their delays in filling prescriptions could kill someone. Stay far away.

I tried to call the pharmacy to become a new client. I sat on hold for 16 minutes. The 2 people that answered just kept putting me off. My question was a simple "do you have this in stock ill come and be a new customer.." put off again and not to check to see, it was to have me wait on someone else. Eventually because i was on hold so long the phone began ring and ring. I've worked retail I understand being busy but I also understand customer service. If that's a taste of what it would be like to be their customer, I'm not interested, nor would I trust them with my script. Sorry oak lawn Walgreens you will mot get my monthly business.

Not a safe place to get vaccines or boosters. Went to get a booster that was scheduled a week earlier and the staff had no idea how to look up my appointment, took 15 minutes for them to figure it out, was first in line, but took another 45 minutes for them to tell me that I needed to fill out paperwork that had already been filled out online. There's no way people that can't get simple paperwork right are going to inject me with something. Medical errors (like incorrect paperwork) are the third leading cause of death in the U.S. Don't risk your health, go somewhere you trust.

lol don’t bother calling the pharmacy dept… you’ll inevitably be placed on hold (for god only knows how long) and as soon as you think you’ve made it through the queue and you finally have someone on the phone, instead they flip that phone over and hang up, disconnecting the call. legit, they even make it sound like they’re grabbing the phone and putting it to their face, then WHAM! it’d honestly be comical at this point if I didn’t actually NEED medication (which I THOUGHT was the point of a pharmacy, but I guess not any more?)…

If Walgreen is getting into the healthcare business staff issues must be appropriately addressed. My doctor called in prescription for 5 consecutive days without being able to speak to anyone. I went in to speak to the staff and still could not get my prescription filled. I also called in medication for my patient several weeks ago and it was the same thing. The phone was not answered. Messaged left. Without a return call. Prescription was not expedited. This is unacceptable.

Pharmacy staff have not concept of friendly personality or customer service. We travel constantly for work and use walgreens as our pharmacy since they are nationwide. The staff here tried telling us we had to go to our original location until we pressed the issue. I had to call my home store and let them speak to them directly to explain how to get it done. I highly suggest going to any other location than this one. The condescending attitude is clearly visible on her face.

  • B Karlton

I understand there are a lot of homeless people that hang around near this location but regular people (paying customers) should not be having to deal with the restroom being closed. I have a medical condition call: ulcerative colitis and I nearly almost had a whole accident in the store because the black guy would not open the restroom saying “it’s closed to the public”. I had to walk out the store and go behind the building to use the restroom and is beyond ridiculous.

  • Waldina Zaldivar

The pharmacist was dishonest and allowed her personal beliefs to interfere with doing her job. She made filling my prescription difficult despite my doctor calling repeatedly to give clarity on my prescription. She claimed it was an insurance issue instead of being honest and when I arrived to the pharmacy I was made to wait, even though she never came out to do the required "consult". The visit as a whole was extremely disheartening and I'll be switching pharmacies.

  • Heather

I dealt with Jessica the pharmacy manager and she was so rude. 2 of my prescriptions got cancelled on the app and I was frustrated and she was immediately rude and had a bad attitude towards me, one was ready so I asked about the other and she loudly says “I was getting to that .” So I will be moving all my prescriptions to a different Walgreens. I see why they have such low reviews online. Not trying to be helpful to frustrated customers at all.

  • Stephanie

The pharmacist Patricia is rude, rude, rude, rude! She doesn’t hesitate to start an argument. The manager on duty Elece is incompetent. All she does is interrupt and talk over you with no resolution or anything meaningful to say. When you ask any question the only words that come out of their mouths are “I don’t know” and refuse to take any accountability. They are extremely inconsiderate to the point where it’s insulting as a customer.

This is my new go-to location. Having the convenience of a clinic around this area is a great resource. The staff is always welcoming and helpful. I recently scheduled online for my 3 Covid-19 shot, the updater, and my annual flu shot. The pharmacy cashier, Aimee, was so helpful and polite. Service was fast and safe. Y'all get the double double, Covid-19, and Flu shot to save time and remain protected, safe, and well.

  • Travis Reynolds

Consistently under-staffed and unnecessarily long wait times no matter the hour. Systems and processes seem irrelevant to this branch and if you don't remind them on multiple occasions, they will likely not be prepared with your prescriptions or will have filled the wrong ones. Most staff seem nice enough but this location very obviously suffers from apathetic and under qualified management.

The women in cosmetics were extremely helpful in advising skincare products for me. Normally, I would purchase department store brands but lost my job and on a tight budget; however, that doesn't keep me from taking care of my skin. Wendy and her colleague listened to my needs and shared their insight on the best solutions for me. I have been pleased with all of the products I purchased.

  • Tia

Not sure why this store has so many bad ratings. It's usually fully stocked with all the beauty products I need, the Beauty Consultant is always very helpful, and the cashiers are friendly. But like others have mentioned the pharmacy was very slow in my experience, but I had gone to the wrong pharmacy anyway, so glad I don't have to deal with that part of the store on a regular basis.

  • T

this pharmacy is consistently awful! staff tends to be rude and passive aggressive. when i call i am generally on hold for half an hour before i get anyone on the phone. the wait times are ridiculous. one night i went to pickup meds for post-op and they hadnt filled it 2 hrs later. the lady told me to come back before 10pm. she failed to mention that they closed at 9pm that day.

  • Matt Tyrney

Not a fan of the self checkouts replacing people. It's supposed to save time but I end up waiting on a human to fix some weight thing or fix the fact that this machine thinks I'm stealing. I'm not a fan of constantly being hounded for my personal information. I'm not dumb. You make your employees beg for your data because you sell it.....

  • Gavin Longway

The worse customer service I have ever experienced in years. I normally do not write negative reviews but I will never fill my prescriptions at Walgreens again after this. The pharmacy tech and pharmacist were both rude and unhelpful and actually caused me to miss a month of medication I need everyday. Poor poor experience!

  • Kimber Fletcher

I've been going to this Walgreens (pharmacy included) for almost 12 years, and I have always gotten good service. Yeah, it gets busy - find a store with a pharmacy that ISNT busy these days. People need to calm down. It's gonna be okay. Your impatience and your anger are only going to put you in line for MORE prescriptions.

  • Adrien Molyneux

I've tried to be positive but this is 5 months in a row I've tried to get a prescription and had to call my insurance to have my insurance company walk the pharmacy through actually running the prescription properly. I'm starting to think that someone there is trying to pocket the money from "rejected" insurance claims.

  • Macy Smith

The worst customer service I have ever had, then transferred to another Walgreens in Dallas and again my needs and prescriptions were not transferred from California after two and a half weeks! I am diabetic my life depends on these medications and they are so incompetent. I will not be back.

  • Diereka McDow

HORRIBLE customers service! I just moved over here trying to get my prescriptions transferred and all the lady on the phone was doing was stating why they couldn’t help verse looking for solutions. She then just completely went silent until I advised the call was being recorded!

  • Bella Peepee

Absolutely horrible customer service and organization. Understaffed and incompetent. Young man with glasses , tattoos , and spiked hair is particularly rude anytime you go there. They have forgotten my prescriptions multiple times and rarely send messages.

  • Ludwig Hartmann

I have an appointment to get my COVID and Flu shot. I have been waiting over 30 minutes and there is simply no one in sight to assist. The level of poor service and the outdated look of this store make me wonder if I will ever return. Its just a sad mess!

  • Delaney

The staff is friendly in my many experiences at this location, however they take FOREVER!!! Every single time I get a prescription filled, its not ready for days. Any other location will have it ready within an hour. I have to literally go

Was told by Walgreens customer service 1 800 employee that I would be able to exchange two items for store credit if I brought my ID. I arrived at about 6:35am and proceeded to try and exchange said items. When I arrived the little girl at

The pharmacy is incredibly slow, I waited in the drive thru for over 15 minutes on a single prescription. There is also a homeless problem at this location and the store makes no effort to keep panhandlers away. Makes Oak Lawn look bad.

  • Shai Smith

Just came in and had an episode where I was bleeding and simply needed 2 mins in restroom. The manager with her keys wouldn’t even let me do that, blood stains and all, rude and bad customer service. By the way I did purchase things.

  • margaret james

I would give a ZERO if I could. Always an issue with the pharmacy and always a wait. Not to mention the fact you are taking your life in your own hands due to the homeless/druggies in the parking lot. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE!!!

  • Ali G

Absolutely the nicest Walgreen’s pharmacy staff. Called in to check on my prescription and even though it wasn’t available and I was disappointed he was very patient and friendly. Glad I switched from the Walgreens on N Beckley.

  • Charles Boyd

Wait times acceptable except during usual rush hours. Pharmacy staff very polite, helpful and patient. Other staff also friendly and helpful. My advice is to not go right after work. Store is clean and well stocked.

  • Hayley Foor

How can any pharmacy be this bad? The people are never friendly, you can’t get a hold of them on the phone, then when you go in you are waiting at least 15 min. It’s insane how a company can function like this.

  • Steven Austin

Will accept Covid booster appoints days/weeks ahead of schedule but will not have them when you show up nor will they rebook you at other pharmacies. Don't bother. CVS, even Walmart, does this way better.

  • Christopher McNew

Walgreen's generates so much trash that all ends up in the landfill, if it makes it there at all. What kind of company trashes out a neighborhood like this?

  • The Pearly Life

Very poor customer service at this branch. Rude staff and consult who don’t take the time to explain what your medication is and how to take it.

  • Sahira Leon

I want to thank Kendria! She was super nice and helpful. She assisted me with some items I needed to print and made the process easy and fast.

  • Roberto Delgado

Horrible experience. Messed up the order, had us waiting over 25 minutes, rude...
