Cant ever get ahold of the pharmacy and when I need my prescription it’s never ready even when it’s scheduled for pickup. I’ve been on hold for 1 hour and the phone hangs up every time I wait on hold. I understand being understaffed but there’s no reason for someone to wait on hold for an hour + to see if their prescription is actually ready, the amount of times I’ve received confirmation that my prescription is ready for pick up and I drive down to get it, I am told it’s not ready yet and I have to wait 20+ minutes. I was sick with an infection and needed antibiotics and was bedridden and had tried to make a confirmation phone call to make sure that my medicine was ready after my doctors appointment, drove down to the pharmacy after not being able to get ahold of them and waited in line for 30+ minutes, reached the front of the line and was told my antibiotics weren’t ready and that I needed to wait another 15 minutes which then turned into 20 + minutes, I had also been prescribed 2 other medications for the pain and was told that I wasn’t going to be able to get those because they “didn’t have any information about them on their end” so I leave after receiving my antibiotics and get home and start the medication that was already 2 days late because they never filled it on time. So I never got my prescriptions in a timely manner and received a phone call after being told that my other 2 medications were ready but it was already too late. The phone number to the pharmacy only tells you that your prescription is ready but doesn’t tell you which one. Please reconsider the automated response with more information if you aren’t able to answer the phone. I feel really bad for the people working here, and In no way mean any disrespect to these hard workers, it’s just frustrating to the public when there’s people needed medications and can’t get them on time or even at all.
So many times have spoken with staff and pharmacist about my need to always get Trade Name version of a certain med. For years I've gotten it that way at this Walgreens. But still, so many times they end up filling my order with generic anyway and then tell me I'll have to wait days to get the trade name of the med and I may not have enough pills left to last until then! A major inconvenience! I cannot tolerate the generic version of this med and they have that on record. Also, I tried their "free" senior delivery service - which I do not recommend because they use FedEx! Seven days from the day we ordered the medication it finally arrived. We live 7 blocks away from Walgreens - why should delivery of the med take 7 days?? Of course, FedEx routed the package up to Oregon for some unknown reason - that's 752 miles away from where the package should have gone. I invite Walgreens to dump FedEx ASAP!! There are other much more reliable carriers out there! A bright side to this Walgreens is some of the pharmacy techs there are really concerned and good workers - like the guy with the neatly trimmed beard - and others. Also, I would give Pharmacist Vee the top score for being an excellent pharmacist who does things timely and is always willing to take the time and make the effort to get things done as the customer requests. He really is an excellent and caring pharmacist. Trouble is, he can't be there all the time so when he isn't the one filling my meds, that's when the generic-dispensing error of my medication refills can occur. This Walgreens used to be a pleasure to deal with and didn't have as many problems as now. I think they are finding it hard to handle the huge influx of people who have moved into the thousands of new apartments recently constructed in SLC. Perhaps they should open a few more Walgreens in this area to reduce the load on this store??
Horrible customer service! I ended up paying $50 for a medication because they didn’t bother to get it pre-authorized and they didn’t tell me that I needed to get it pre-authorized. Considering that Walgreens is a multi billion dollar corporation, you would think they would have at least offered me a gift card to help mitigate the amount I had to pay because of their mistake. Some of the co-pays on my medication have randomly increased. I Tried to get information on why they are increasing and the staff member told me it was due to fluctuating drug prices. Initially she made it sound like it was my insurance’s fault that the co-pays were going up and that I would have to contact them. However I’ve never had my co-pays increase during the same calendar year. So basically it’s because Walgreens is charging more for that medication and so my co-pay went up. The staff member I talk to was rude and unhelpful when I asked if Walgreens had increased the price of the medication. I have a ton of prescriptions I fill there every month and they will no longer be getting my business. FYI If You don’t have a co-pay and have to pay a percentage for a medication, Walgreens prices are significantly higher than other pharmacies! Also, if you have a gap in your prescription coverage you will reach it much sooner because their prices are 3X other pharmacy’s there are.
Worst customer service I've ever received. I had a small issue in photo that could've been resolved quickly but everyone was so concerned about hanging out with one another and doing tags, that none of them stuck around long enough to make sure my issue was resolved. Cameron was super douche-y. He had no care to help me at all. Tyson, the manager began helping me and then just disappeared without saying anything so he wasn't there when the printer stopped working. I finally had to knock on the office door so I could get some help. a man with long hair came out, I told him what happened, he refilled the machine and walked away. He didn't say one word the whole time. Plus, the computer still wasn't fixed! He didn't even make sure to check before he walked away. After all of this, a beauty advisor came over, actually fixed the machine and got me my pictures. This problem could've been handled in 5 minutes but because nobody cared, I waited around for an hour needing to find different people, hoping somebody would actually get it done. As a previous employee of Walgreens, I expect a lot more out of the staff. When I worked there at least, the customer in front of us was more important than hanging tags.
Every time I go to get a prescription filled it turns into a nightmare of waiting. Today I tried to call ahead to let them know I was coming and seriously spent 60 minutes on hold. I was simultaneously trying to access their website via mobile and as soon as it would verify who I was the page would crash. I finally tried going into the store in person and there were eight customers waiting in line at the pharmacy counter and three cars waiting at the drive through. It was 7:00pm - I didn't have another hour and a half to waste waiting to get a simple refill. The staff is always competent and courteous but there are simply not enough of them scheduled for the demands of this busy location. EVER. I've been there at 10:00 am on a weekday; I've been there on Saturdays; I've been there on a weeknight. It's always the same story - it's going to be at least an hour until someone has the time to go grab you two pre-packaged pills., Management is doing a terrible job at making sure that customer service is working the way it needs to. Hire and schedule about twice as many people as you currently have working. If you're having problems keeping and attracting employees, do what you need to to change it.
I DARE you to try to get through on the phone! You will wait for 40 mins, to only be hung up on! You're in a queue for about 15 mins, then you finally get through to the pharmacy (meaning I'm the only one actually ringing through to the pharmacy - 1 call at a time). they just pick up the phone (don't say a thing) and put you back on hold OVER and OVER and OVER for about 25 mins, then just let it ring until it hangs up on you! It's IMPOSSIBLE to get through! Are they prioritizing the IN-STORE customers over the phone calls? That's absolutely RIDICULOUS! Do they want me to drive down there just to have a 60 second conversation about needing to fill my prescription only to have me sit there waiting for hours until they fill it? ANSWER THE DANG PHONE! PLEASE People have meds that they NEED to have filled in order to save their lives! Do better please. I know it's really hard right now and you're probably short staffed - I'm a patient person! I know it doesn't sound like it from this review, but I am! I can wait on hold if I KNOW someone will answer. My calls usually only take 60 seconds! I swear!
I would give them a zero star if I could, management is unprofessional. I recently went here for a prescription since my normal Walgreens was out of it. This location shorted my script by 6 days and accuses you the patient of misusing or selling them. Why in the world would you jump to conclusions without knowledge knowing I use that same prescription every month and never had a problem in 14 yrs. I would stay away from this location if your using the pharmacy. Horrible service, they want you to trust there employee's that mistakes can't happen and no one would ever short you on medication that you rely on for a serious medical condition. BUT where is the trust in the patient you walk out with your script, thinking it's filled correctly and then you get to the end of the month and noticed something isn't right. This is what happens when you have untrustworthy employee's that won't omit to anything. If you want to be short on your monthly supply of medication this is your location otherwise stay anyway from this location.
Got a txt saying I was due for a refill so I put the order in and made the pick up for today. I received a txt at2:05 This afternoon saying it was ready for pick up. I called and a girl said that it was ready and had no co pay. I went to pick it up and when I got there, they said that yes it was ready but the system to Bill the insurance was down and had been all day and I would have to pay over $50 for my medicine. I told them that I had called after the txt and the female I spoke with said there was no co pay and did NOT mention that I would have to pay cash price nor did she say the system was down. I paid a neighbor $5.00 to take me and when it does get fixed, I'll probably have a co pay and have to pay to have a ride to get it. I'm so glad that Walgreens teaches their employees to give their customers correct information on and about co pays and has their customers spendi g money they really don't have to get there and find out that they can't get their medications. Thanks so much Walgreens.
The staff are very apologetic when they can't help you, when they should be trying to get you help if they cant help with your issue. I tried to use my insurance wellness card to purchase face masks, which have been approved by the insurance as Over the Counter. Even the shelf where the masks were located specified OTC approved. They would not accept my insurance card (Master Card) and couldn't explain why. I went home and called their corporate office and they apologized and said they would correct the problem and notify the store the correct procedure to process the credit card from my insurance. The manager at the store said he had no number to contact their corporate office to get help. I had no problem looking up the number and contacting someone who could solve the issue immediately. If would be great if Walgreen would train their staff to serve their customers. I do appreciate the employees coming to work during the Covid crisis and wish the very best for them and their families.
extremely disappointed in the pharmacy. i had surgery yesterday covering my entire abdomen and was prescribed narcotics to which they said my partner could pick up for me due to my lack of mobility (which they approved him to pick them up). he got there 15 minutes before the pharmacy closed & when they got to him they told him my insurance card expired which was true & he told them i had no insurance. they then wouldn’t give him my medications even if he paid for them because “it’s too late” when all he would’ve needed to do is sign for them. it’s now 5 am and i’ve been awake since 330 in such excruciating pain that easily could’ve been avoided with said medications. will have him pick them up tomorrow and then i won’t be sending any prescriptions there ever again. update: after reading reviews i feel extremely validated in my experience. this is the worst pharmacy i’ve ever dealt with
This is easily the worst pharmacy I have been to. I didn't know that Pharm.D.'s were M.D's! Oh wait they aren't a Pharm.D. is only a professional doctorate, The Pharmacists here (plus their techs) like to play Dr. Detective, stick their nose in to your business, ask you questions why you're filling early even though it's within their 90% policy (it's none of their business anyway), lie to you about why they can't fill your Rx (out of medication, too early, insurance issue, Relay untrue information to you from your Doctor's office, creating a misunderstanding between you and your Doctor almost ruining the rapport that you've worked effing hard for years to create with your healthcare provider. Don't go here if you need medication refilled and I hope this location goes out of business personally. Find a nice mom and pop pharmacy.
I was in Salt Lake City visiting family and I forgot my insulin pump supplies and as an unstable Type 1 diabetic my life is literally dependent on injecting insulin with every single thing I eat or drink. I explained my situation to the pharmacy tech and she said she couldn't give me one insulin syringe and told me if I wanted one I would need to buy a box of 300! She made a very stressful situation much worse by refusing to help me! I went to Harmon's grocery store pharmacy and explained the same emergent situation that I was in and she smiled and gave me two and asked me if I needed more! I've been a loyal customer of Walgreens pharmacy for over 8 years and I realized today that loyalty sometimes goes only one way and that its time for me to withdraw my money and loyalty from Walgreens and invest both into Harmon
I'm finally giving up on this Walgreens and switching to another one even though I literally live two blocks away from this one. I have NEVER able to get through to them on the phone, despite waiting 40 minutes multiple times and calling at different times of the day to try to get through — and that's been a consistent experience over about six months. The last straw came when I renewed my prescription and over a week later the order still shows up as being "in progress." I have no idea if they're out of my medication, if there's a hold up with my insurance or what since, again, it's impossible to get a hold of them. I've used two dozen different Walgreens over the past few years as I move around a lot and have never seen such poor service. I'm empathetic that they're likely low staffed, but this is ridiculous.
This is the worst pharmacy on Earth. When Walgreens bought out the Rite Aid Pharmacy on 200 S 700 E, all of our family prescriptions were automatically moved to this Walgreens. I have had to fill various prescriptions 8 times since then. EVERY SINGLE TIME they have messed up on something, and 6 of those times the mess up was bad enough that I had to come back and make another trip the next day. Twice I have called ahead to verify my prescriptions were ready and been told they were, but then when I got there there was some mess up and they were not. The Pharmacy staff have tried to blame my insurance, my doctors, and me, but every time it was really them messing up. INCOMPOTENT! I am moving all of my family prescriptions somewhere else.
Out of stock in A LOT of product/empty shelves. Fairly busy, but only 1 cashier... waited 8-10 mins at checkout. I looked at the receipt after I drove off, and the '2 for $7' Old Spice deodorant I bought rang up full price @ $9.98. $3 is $3, so I stopped back in after my appointment, once again having to wait in line. A second cashier finally showed up, with whom I explained what had happened. He didn't seem to get it, got frustrated, was kind of a jerk, and impatient several attempts at entering what should be a simple price adjustment into the register, offered me a refund of < $2. At that point, I'd had enough, so I returned the deodorant and got a refund. Besides, Walmart's regular price was less than Walgreen's 2 for $7 deal.
This location does not honor prescriptions that you attempt to fill over the phone or through the app. I initially placed an order on the app on Sunday, and then on Tuesday. Neither of these were honored. I called this morning around 10am to get my prescription filled and was told it would be ready. I called again around 3:30pm and was told that my prescription wasn’t ready and that there was an issue with insurance. While trying to figure out what was wrong with my insurance the pharmacist kept putting me on hold without any explanation, 30 minutes and 3 calls later. Another location was able to fill my prescription and there wasn’t an issue with the insurance. Save yourself a headache and don’t visit this location.
Failure to deliver on their commitments is problematic. Today I went in to get a flu vaccine. Diligently, I made an appointment and pre-filled the consent forms. When I arrived, I was told by the pharmacist that they weren't doing flu vaccines at the time; they had the vaccines on hand, they had the staff to do them, they had accepted my appointment and they had allowed me to pre-fill the consent form, but they weren't going to actually provide the vaccine. Of course, later the very same day Governor Herbert appears in an emergency broadcast and tells all Utahns that we need to do our part in addressing this pandemic, and one of the things we can all do is get a flu vaccine--he must've gone somewhere else for his!
The pharmacy is a solid 5 out of 5 in my experience! Dave is aways helpful and friendly and the staff are all hard working and pleasant to deal with. I have had issues before with insurance and the pharmacists have gone far above just filling my prescription to make sure I was taken care of. Vy and Dave you are heros in helping people get better and make it so some can live a somewhat normal life. The pharmacist is just as important as your doctor and with the help of insurance it takes all 3 to complete the circle. I don't think enough people understand the connection between doctor and pharmacist and everyone should remember it may be the doctor who prescribes medication but it's the pharmacist that fills it.
I’m a long-time customer at this location, and it USED to be great, but since 2020 and covid, it’s deteriorated steadily. I was there last week hoping to stock up, and asked the cashier if there were any carts or baskets,, and he said no, they keep getting stolen and they’re not replaced. I didn’t need a cart after all because the shelves were BARE! This store remains depleted EVERY WEEK. Sale tags all over the shelves, but no stock. I wonder if they’re going to close down and put an apartment building there. The pharmacy and staff are always good. I have go to Sugarhouse now, it’s inconvenient, but it’s like this place used to be. The Bountiful store is absolutely PRISTINE, so why aren’t they all?
There’s been 5 different times where I’ve sat on hold with the pharmacy for a minimum of an hour, upwards of 3 hours at one point. I finally get to the front of the queue when I hear them pick up the phone, and hang up on me. Every. Single. Time. This is insane, I can’t always drive to the pharmacy when there’s an issue with or question about my medication. At some point in taking 30+ customers in person you should be able to take precedent in answering one <5 minute phone call at least. I understand they’re understaffed and I’m empathetic but it’s caused me to run out of my medication several times and at this point just seems like poor time management & customer service.
Do you enjoy waiting 45 minutes in the drive-thru for a prescription refill that you received a phone call confirmation was available for pick-up just to be told they will complete this for you “after my lunch break.” Yeah, no. I don’t either. This is the worst Walgreens location and the pharmacy staff are incompetent, rude and unreasonable. They also lied to my face about when my last refill was just to say they won’t start it until after lunch. Lying is unacceptable. I wouldn’t trust this location to fill an order for toilet paper. Go to the one on 2100 south, they’re so much better, kind staff and intelligent human beings. Avoid this location like the plague.
So... I'm out of town a week and right when my scrip gets filled. I ignore the auto calls and kind of forget about things because I'm in the process of moving. But a seemingly kindly pharmacist actually calls me and I explains and I tell her I just got home and can come pick it up today. She informs me they'll hold it and so I come down when I'm free. They cancelled the prescription. So I ask why bother calling me in the first place? Why tell me it'll be held for me? Why make a pretense at all about caring about an actual person a fellow human being? Clearly your rating shows that you don't care. Please don't waste my time by pretending to!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
We have only bad reviews for this store. They have messed up prescriptions more than once and even have said well if the doctor called it in we may have deleted it from our phone system, we have problems with the phone system. Also I do not see any scripts for you however when pushed OMG there they are you just have to look hard enough. They do not care that you are out and it is a weekend, and the doctor is off on weekends. 9 times out of 10 the doctor did call it in and they messed it up. How can a pharmacy be so disorganized. If I could give a - star I would. I asked for the store managers name the girl did not know her name just that it was a women.
I'm surprised by how unwise this store is. I made a vaccine appointment for 12:15. When I showed, there was more than an hour worth of line. Apparently, people that showed to without appointments were let in, pushing everyone's appointments. What's the point of appointment if you're not going to do anything to protect these appointments for the responsible people that planned ahead? Also, you need to create separate lines for vaccines and prescriptions. This store is a ridiculous mess. I left without vaccines because there was no way I could get my shots in time to get back to work. Thank you for wasting my time.
I have been using coupons for over a year now and have found this Walgreens to be one of the most coupon friendly Walgreens in town. I have encountered a few rude employees at this Walgreens, two of whom would not help me figure out problems with coupon scanning or call the manager, but one of the employees, Kent, has been an incredibly kind person who has gone out of his way to help me with my confusing transactions when RR did not print or coupons would not scan, find products in the store, write me rainchecks, and go above and beyond in what I would expect in customer service. Thank you Kent for being awesome!
Everyone else seems to have had horrible experiences here so maybe I'm lucky? I come here maybe 2-3 times a month and have never had a bad experience at the checkout, pharmacy, or photo counter. The store has everything and sometimes great deals on food. All pharmacy staff have always been nice (even when a customer is being wild) and Stephanie at the pharmacy was especially kind. There are homeless people outside the store sometimes yes but if that bothers you, that's a personal problem! It's certainly not the employees fault. The walgreens app is also very convenient (yes I know I sound 80 years old).
Pretty awful customer service and work done by the photo department. The website lets you crop and edit photos for printing. They managed to completely discard my edits and cut heads off on an order early this month. Blamed it on the machines and "couldn't fix it." Went in later for passport style photos for an important government document. One came out badly, and we had to ask the employee 4 times to spend 10 seconds retaking it. He kept insisting it was fine and didn't want to retake. Like, man, just make the customer happy and spend 10 seconds retaking the one photo--we're spending $80 on photos.
I use a LOT of manufacturer coupons at this location, combining them with point offers, sales, and even other store coupons. They're very, very helpful and patient when I make mistakes. I'm currently on a fixed, limited income, so I greatly appreciate their help in saving myself money. I particularly appreciate the friendliness of Bo and Dustin, who always try their best to make my visit pleasant and welcoming. I will say honestly that service can be slow at times, but I've found that to be true at busy times of day, such as when people are going to or getting off of work. Thanks for reading! ☺️
OMG they have gotten so rude I walked in on a political debate between sales guy and a customer and he just rambled on an on.. Finally, I got a second of his attention to do Western Union transfer and he just let me use the service desk but the whole screen got frozen and he did not assist me. He continued his political debate .. I went to buy few items and all of them were mispriced and the younger sales guy gave me a mean look because I said the sales tags said otherwise. No purchase and no transaction. I don't know if I would be back to this location for a while
They said I needed the RBX Bin number. I called my insurance and couldn't find. My fiancé then had to pay for my prescription. They wouldn't let me use the bathroom and I had a UTI. Even the insurance guy on the phone didn't know what an RBX Bin number was! I tried requesting a new insurance card online and the system wouldn't let me. Seems like they wanted me to sit there and give my member ID over the phone for no reason! I'm glad my fiance paid for it! I was in terrible pain! Not everyone wants to shoot up in the bathroom! Some people just need to use it!
The only thing that makes me want to die more than trying to fill my prescription at this walgreens every month is, unfortunately, not taking my meds. So I continue to wait on hold for 40 minutes about three times a month just to beg them to fill the prescription that was called in three days ago so I don't have to miss another day waiting on them to fill it. it doesn't help that their hold "music" is just a 7 second clip followed by a grating "WE'RE SORRY, OUR STAFF IS ANSWERING OTHER CALLS. PLEASE HOLD ON AND WE'LL BE WITH YOU SHORTLY"
I'm not one to go and post reviews on every little thing, but the experience i had here was just so fundamentally pleasant. The pharm tech was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, and super helpful with the questions I had and the ones I didn't think to ask. She double checked my insurance and was happy to process a non-standard coupon that I had. Filling prescriptions is generally not an enjoyable experience (exacerbated by the illness you came there to treat), but I left feeling about as good as a sick person possibly can.
The worst walgreens on the PLANET. Their pharmacy staff couldn't be less helpful or understanding. I had a prescription that to fill, and they were out of it. Instead of calling me and telling me that, they gave me 5 pills and told me to come back in 5 days. When I explained I was going out of town they said that I could try to call another Walgreens, but that they couldn't do anything to help me. Their attitude was like - well, screw you, we don't care about your problems and don't care to help you. Unbelievable!
If you can, absolutely avoid this Walgreens pharmacy. My wife and I recently switched the nearby Rite-Aid and have never looked back. The pharmacy is incredibly busy, the pharmacists have to split their time between people in the store and people in the drive through. As a result, they are rude; we have had problems with them yelling out the names of drugs we are picking up (!!!), a clear HIPPA violation. Absolutely avoid this pharmacy at all costs. I've had perfectly fine experiences with the store itself.
This dude jackson the cashier was so rude i dont know why. We asked him a question about the photo department and he turned away and mumbled rudely. And asked rudely your name?! If you dont like your job QUIT! And watch videos on customer service. If your having a bad day leave it at the door. We all have our days. There was no need to be so rude. Sometimes you just dont know what someone else is feeling. Learn manners anr customer service jackson! And soaps should not be bagged with ice cream.. Wow
The young man cashier sat on the counter as he checked me out tossed my change to me and asked if I wanted a bag. I asked him if he thought his lack of professionalism and poor customer service was ok he shrugged his shoulders and said what the change is correct I spoke to the “manager “ who said well he is working past his shift I said how about you covering him and let him go home if he’s too exhausted from working that he had to sit on the counter and toss my change to me I got no response
WALGREENS IS NOT TAKING COVID19 SERIOUSLY!!! THEY DON'T CARE IF YOUR GRANDMA DIES! They allowed a homeless man to take his mask off and walk around coughing on everything. He even cough directly on me and thought it was funny. The overweight male that works there thought it was funny too. He laughed and shrugged his shoulders about it. Didn't even talk to him about it. So don't shop here unless you don't mind getting the virus. Its all over everything upfront by the cash registers now.
I am Asian. I felt I was discriminated or at least somehow separately treated by the cashier. That person greeted to other customers even homeless people but did not to me. I greeted to her but she pretended not to hear. I really don't like her demeanor. Until seeing a review here saying staff refuse to file a prescription for his Asian girlfriend by claiming "Only American and Canada citizen can file a prescription in Walgreen", I realize I am not the only one.
I’ve had over 3 hours of on hold time with them in less than 24 hrs. Their customer service line hung up twice and their store hung up without ever talking with me. They’re understaffed and Walgreens refuses to hire more people to help. The people are friendly at the store but they’re overworked. One worker stated that Walgreens understaffs this one as it is “near all of the apartments” suggesting that Walgreens only cares about those who live in the suburbs.
This place is like a dystopian nightmare version of a pharmacy. I waited for an hour and they asked me to go to the back of the line and wait again. No amount of lead time is sufficient for them to have the Rx prepared. The people behind the counter have haunted eyes. Surrounded by haphazard piles of pill bottles and paperwork they frantically type, a phone pressed against their ear. Call your prescription in elsewhere, doctors. Hope is lost here.
The pharmacy here does not care about their patients - I got my wisdom teeth out this morning & was supposed to be taking my meds immediately after. It has now been 6 hours without any meds & I’m in EXTREME PAIN. We have called every hour and the answering machine has said your meds are in processing or they have completely hung up on us. It is only extra strength IBUPROFEN & they can’t seem to figure out something as simple as that.
Was discriminated against, harassed, made fun of AND violated HIPPA. The security guard made fun of me for picking up my psych meds after I complained about being asked to leave my backpack with my 1500$ work laptop while other people in the store had bags and backpacks. They also went through my backpack without consent and without me present. When I got my bag back from the front all of the bags pockets were unzipped.
This pharmacy has the worst customer service. At the counter and on the phone. This has happened several times when I've been on hold for 50 min., only to have them pick up the phone and hang up on me. The least they could do is ask you to hold. I proceeded to explain to a tech that I had been holding for over an hour and they hung up on me. I live blocks from this pharmacy, however it's time to find a new pharmacy.
My wife has been getting prescriptions from here for quite a while. And yes can mistakes happen, I feel that they happen more frequently here than normal. It’s just frustrating when you ask the same simple question three times such as, “this is a three month prescription correct?” And your told yes all three times When in reality it’s only a months worth. Just small mistakes like this make it frustrated.
They Will put you on hold again again again and over again... Break hippa in front of customers and talk trash about you to one another... They wont answer the phone and lie about when your script is ready or when it can be filled. A medical oath means nothing to these people and might as well be drug dealers. Don't go here and if you call just plan on waiting a dayplan on waiting a dayor two.
The last 2 out of 3 times I have been there to the pharmacy the line has taken so long 20-30 min. Pharmacy is good to workwith as far as prescriptions go. This last time I went up to buy some things too and got out of line and left. That line looked like it would be another 20 min or longer just there. They need a floater to help at areas when there is small rushes I'm th I'm thinking.
Terrible service... they have a delivery service, that the pharmacist and techs don't know about. The uber driver had to go through the line three times. The third the uber driver had to get me on the phone with the main pharmacist....who didn't know my meds were being delivered. Every time I go there it seems that know one has a clue. Don't try to call you won't get through.
Don’t bother trying to call the pharmacy. I was hung up on twice today after waiting on hold for 30 minutes. The line was picked up several times and I could hear people talking and then I was placed back on hold. I guess I’ll just have drive my sick self over there and to take care of this prescription in person since they refuse to take a 5 minutes phone call.
Terrible pharmacy!! Several times I have called ahead, and several times my prescriptions have not been ready. The workers are poorly trained. Tonight I’m going without an important pill that I need, because of false information given to me by two Walgreen’s pharmacies whose workers do not know the rules of medicine. Go elsewhere and save your lives.
Have not been able to get a hold of the pharmacy for 3 days!! Phone system also sucks and you have to repeat yourself twice to even get on the line. Always a wait “more than X amount of callers ahead of you” and it seems like someone is watching the phone ring. I just need a quick response about medication and the help line DOES NOT HELP.
I waited in the drive through for the pharmacy for 12 minutes before anyone talked to me. I then found out they lost the prescription request I handed a pharmacist 4 days ago. No one apologized, and I was questioned like it was my fault they lost the prescription. I understand things happen, but that was not handled appropriately at all.
I placed a delivery order at 6pm which said it was to be delivered between 6-8pm. I was not until I called at 9:05 asking where my order was that they fulfilled my order. It was delivered at 9:15 the next morning. The delivery sticker said it had been ready since 9:06 pm. 3 hours after I ordered it. I’ll never be going here again.
Associates were polite. Why I am giving 3 stars. Don't put items on sale if I am going to be charged full price. So frustrating truly. I checked to make sure the item matched the last chance sale item. Looking at the receipt there was only a discount on 1 of 2 last chance sale items. Not worth disputing and shouldn't be my job.
Not only did they not develop my pictures, they also lost my camera and didn't even write down that they had it. They've said that without a record they can't track it down. So don't leave anything sentimental here, you might never see it again. They get two stars because they've been nice when I've picked up packages there.
Called ahead to see if they had a specific gift card in stock and the employee was very helpful and professional. When I went in, I had a quick, easy, and friendly experience. I haven't used the pharmacy though. This location has easy access, central location, and dedicated parking. It was clean, tidy, and organized well.
Store is chronically under stocked, and the manager is incompetent and beyond rude. He has been "helping" me and just stopped and completely forgot what he was doing when a wealthier looking man came in asking for help. I live next door and have started going to a different Walgreens because this one is so bad.
This pharmacy really helped me out. I accidentally went to the wrong Walgreens location for my appointment and in turn was late for my appointment that this location. They were so nice and helped me regardless of showing up a little late. I am grateful because otherwise I might not be able to travel this week!
The staff here has always treated me well, and have been kind to me when I've come in. I have seen some of the issues described in other reviews with employees being caught up in their interactions with each other over helping customers, but overall the experience at this Walgreens hasn't been a bad one.
Always helpful when I go in pharmacy is always easy to work with no need to sit around hours waiting since Walgreens texts me when my meds are ready to be picked up (if they are busier) if a product I want is not in stock at that location they check and see if it is available at another location for me.
This dystopian nightmare is the worst Walgreens in Utah. Pack it up, boys it’s time to turn this into ugly condos. At least I never have to buy $13 deodorant again and your poor neighbors will be able to sleep despite the loud music you’re playing outside on a speaker 24/7 to punish the unsheltered.
Everyone else on here was right! I called and spoke to a young man to confirm my Rx and told my husband to pick it up after work. He stood in line for 20 min just to be told it wasn’t ready and it would be a while. I read the other reviews, but I was hopeful. Very dissatisfied with their service.
The staff is about as friendly as a pothole. Getting questions answered is nearly impossible. They ask every time if you have a question, but if you answer affirmatively, they are so put out by it, and don’t you dare have two questions. Waiting on hold on the phone? Plan on at least 30 minutes.
Went in around 7pm 04/09/20. The women at the pharmacy refused to help my girlfriend and said it was because she was asian. She claimed "only Canadians and Americans can fill a prescription at walgreens". We went to another location and had it done no problem. That's how I know it was racism.
This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. The pharmacist is a total jerk and when I politely asked a quick question, he acted incredibly annoyed with me, kept interrupting what I was trying to say, and was just very rude and condescending. I will never be coming back to this pharmacy.
I don't know if it's an issue of understaffing or incompetency, but I have a recurring prescription here that whenever I go to fill it is like a week long saga to get my pills. Without fail. I'm finally done and I'm going to move my prescription dispite how close this place is to my home.
It's a nice Walgreens. Most of complaints on here about the pharmacy could be remedied by people just planning ahead. Everyplace is short handed and busy; there are too many people in this area for it not to be. Biggest problem I have encountered lately is things being understocked.
Went to 2100 S Walgreens and worker at photo booth didn't even care about customer service...Here at the 400S location had the blessed acquaintance of Benjamin which wasn't even in department yet guided us directly to what we needed. Thanks Benjamin, Walgreens needs Ben's all overs.
Yet again, the Walgreen’s pharmacy has failed. I received no less than 10 texts and calls from them that my prescription was ready for pickup. Yet when I arrived to pick it up, they had nothing for me and I was told I would have to wait for it to be filled. Completely unacceptable.
I went to just get a few pictures printed for a present. Salesperson Aishia (I think that's how you spell her name) helped me out and print them right then and there because there's only a few pictures. Thank you so much for willing to help and making it a great experience.
This place sucks. Can’t get through on the phone, employees are rude, and the least organized pharmacy I’ve ever been too. Also, they BLAST music outside 24/7 at a ridiculous volume and refuse to turn it off after multiple police calls. Seriously, Walgreens can go to hell
I must be a glutton for punishment. I keep going to this location because of convenience. Not anymore after multiple horrible experiences at this location, I'm done! Horrible customer service and dirty store inside and out. I've transferred my RX and will never return
Was not parked there long visited my brother across the street. Came back both cars were towed. Not only that, the cars were towed to Murray. Towed to a place that was closed for the weekend so we could not get our cars back. Being charged per day now as we speak.
In desperate need of management. Good location, but customer service is nearly non existent. Check out clerk, I think it was Hayden, sat on the counter with feet up, no personality or indication he really cared to be there. Dismal and severly lacking leadership.
Went in there to buy a card reader, but they were all out. Heather helped us out, and called around to all the other stores and found one for us, right on the way to where we were going! Very helpful, and good customer service. 10/10 would Walgreen again
Haha, when I'm not waiting more than 30 minutes in line (both in person and drive thru) for my prescription, we can look at changing this rating. If you like standing around and being frustrated getting your meds in person, by all means, come here!!
This pharmacy is always chronically understaffed. It is so bad that it is insulting. There routinely is more than a 20 minute wait at both the drive-up window and inside. The pharmacists are so stressed out they look like they are having seizures.
Called in a prescription for a patient yesterday had to wait 1 hour. Patient went in and they said they didn't have anything for him. Called today and waited for 2 hours and finally just called back and left a VM. Would not suggest going here.
I understand this place is pretty busy, but come on! It is so difficult to get prescriptions filled here. Try calling them. I dare you. We just hung up after two phone calls that were just on hold. Those calls equaled about two hours.
i live next to this store and i cannot open my windows during the day because all i can hear is the classical music this store blasts in the parking lot. i guess hating homeless people overrides my ability to get some fresh air.
Worst place ever terrible customer service. Went in and special ordered an item was told it was coming in on the next shipment and then got told they got the wrong thing in. Horrible experience and I won't go back there
I dread coming here to pick up a prescription because they have horrible service, never enough help. I have been sitting in the drive thru lane for 20 minutes and there are still 4 cars ahead of me. We have not moved.
Drove across town to pick up a prescription I desperately needed. Arrived just at the clock turned 5 and the pharmacist would not give me my prescription. I can't wait to go to any other pharmacy then this Walgreens
Been waiting almost an HR and a half for them to put 6 pills into a container..... (Update!) It has now been almost a week and a half and I STILL have not gotten the prescription filled. Absolutely disgusting.
It's too bad can't give them less than a one. If you want to wait for hours for a prescription this is your store. Like saying to keep you waiting with no manager to help. How are they still in business?
James helped my around the store and find everything I was looking for. Then helped me check out and gave me ideas on things to do in Utah since I’m visiting. This mad deserves a raise!!! Best Walgreens
Calls go on FOREVER. THEY PICK UP THE PHONE THEN PUT IT BACK ON HOLD. THEY CONSISTENTLY HANG UP AFTER 30+ MIN ON HOLD. This is horrible. I can NEVER REACH ANYONE, calls never reach the pharmacy.
every other 1 star review is unfortunately accurate. you’ll never get through on the phone, and if you do they’ll just hang up on you. do yourself a favor and have your meds sent elsewhere!
Always long lines in and out of the store and the hold time for me has been close to an hour before I had to hang up. There may be a problem with their phone?? I'm switching pharmacies.
Sadist excuse for a pharmacy I've ever experienced. Refills rarely go smoothly. Often not ready when ordered days in advance or out of stock and can't be filled before I run out.
The pharmacy here is the worst. They don’t call and update you if they are out of a medication and then when you come to pick up they don’t communicate what’s going on either.
I swear the only reason I still need my antidepressants is because I still get them from this Walgreens. Unbelievable incompetence from start to finish. Don’t waste your time
Pharmacy is completely understaffed. Expect to wait in line atleast 30 minutes just to be seen. They also never check their voicemails when physicians call in prescriptions.
Poor customer service. Went to get a banner printed. Had the files in a flash drive. The guy had no idea how to help and wasnt even apologetic about not being able to help.
Worst place I've shopped in a loooong time! No shopping carts or baskets. Employees are only there to stock. I got more help from pharmacy. Never shopping here ever again.
I've waisted probably more than 10 hours of my life either waiting line their lines or on the phone only to be turned away at their pharmacy. It's bad.
They literally blast music all night long… even when you call and ask them to turn it off it still goes on… the same 4 songs. It’s so obnoxious
If there is no employee willing to work in the photo counter, just close that service….so I don’t have to stand there waiting for 20 minutes
Very bad customer service. I was waiting over half hour for someone could help me out with printing some pictures. No one came. …
This location has been plagued with problems the past few years. Avoid it at all costs. Their previous reviews speak volumes.
it will be negative star if possible. The staff are working like walking dead. This company is deserved to be shut down.
