"if this could be a negative number, I'd give them a negative 10! I recently visited the 24 hour Walgreens on Medical Drive for an emergency request for Narcan for someone who had accidentally overdosed on drugs"
Today i went in to pick up a prescription that i NEED. i am 9 months pregnant, my baby is due any time & this is an emergency prescription i had called in cus i need it before baby arrives. i arrived 6 days after it was filled due to the fact that i currently reside outside city limits& my drs office sent it to the wrong location (have been having problems with them like this, but anyways...) upon arrival i spoke with Andrea, who told me they threw out my prescription because they always throw out if they are not picked up within 10 days. (it had only been 6 days....???) Told me i could wait 2 hours to get my script of 7 pills filled. I told her i cannot do that & i live too far to come back so i need it sent to the location on Grosenbacher & Potranco. she told me i could call them myself & i told her i have no way to call them because i have a government issued phone from Medicaid with no minutes left for the remander of the month. If she can please call it in for me cus i really need the medicine. At that point she got very rude & made an ugly face while she said she'd need to look up their number. She confirmed the location, &said she will have them fill out my script asap. 45 minutes later upon arriving at the location she"called it into",the whole pharmacy is gated off & had a sign that said "closed for next two days in observation of Christmas". at this point I'm very frustrated. i have to go to a payphone just to spend 30 minutes on hold for Andrea to answer the phone. she told me she sent it to the wrong location which is 15 miles away from me & they close in 30 minutes so basically i won't be able to get my medicine for 2 more days & there is nothing she can do about it. when i asked her for the corporate number she refused to give it to me saying she doesn't have access to it & would only give me her first name. i called back the walgreens& they told me it was "1800walgreens". had to ask 3 times that this was the number to make a corporate compliant about the pharmacy. will be making sure something is done about this crap of customer service since obviously with over 1 year of one star reviews NOTHING has been corrected.
Did not have a great experience, I called to refill a prescription I've had for years in another location, they told me they could fill it here but did not have the correct ingredients because it was a compound, and that it would take 2 weeks before they were able to get it. I was ok with that, So they" placed" the order. 3Weeks later, never received a call about it. So I called questioning about when it would be ready. It was never filled!!! This was on a Monday, and the young lady said it would be ready Tuesday afternoon. Ok great. Tuesday came, I didn't receive a call that it was ready, so I waited patiently, and gave them an extra day knowing it does get swamped at this location. I call Wednesday afternoon, It was not filled!!! The young lady was a bit rude and basically told me she couldn't do anything about it, and it would be ready Thursday morning at 10. Since I'm at work at that time I waited til 9pm, after work and called them to check if it was ready. STILL NOT READY!!! Instead of trying to help, the young lady told me it would be ready Friday morning. It wasn't until I asked for corporates number did someone try to help. The Pharmacist came to the phone, he told me someone had called me Monday and tuesday asking when I would pick up the medication, and said they didn't fill it because they didn't know if I would actually pick it up because of the cost. Its a little insulting that they would just assume that I wouldn't pay. After I voiced my complaint he then told me he would have it ready on one hour. So, I showed up in exactly one hour, and they had to look for it. Finally 30 min later I was able to get my lotion. Sad part is there's only two Walgreens in all of San Antonio that can do a compound medication. So I don't have much of a choice.
This location is incredibly busy due to the fact that it's a 24 hour location and it's located in the middle of a medical center. The service, however leaves much to be desired. Regardless of time of day, the lines are long and there is always a wait (even if Express Pay is used). If a customer attempts to call, count on spending a long time on hold (getting disconnected happens a lot as well). One cannot help but wonder if some of the employees are not as dedicated as they could be. I renewed a prescription and received a text message the following day telling me there was a delay and the pharmacy was out of my medication. When I looked up my account, I received a message stating that I had no pending prescriptions. I called the pharmacy and asked how long the delay might be and was told by the individual who answered the phone that they didn't know why I was sent a message saying there was a delay because the medication was in stock (and had been when I put the refill request in). This can only lead me to believe the person who was supposed to take care of refilling it did not feel like taking care of their responsibilities so they sent a message saying it was delayed. I would change pharmacies (or at least to another location) but this location is the closest and most convenient one for me and I shouldn't have to alter the location because someone doesn't want to do their job. Perhaps someone needs to take a good hard look at the scheduling practices and training to make things run smoother than they do.
This pharmacy is the only 24 hour Walgreens pharmacy within a pretty large distance of San Antonio. This means that they probably serve hundreds of people per day. This also means that things can get very hectic and unorganized. There have been a number of times that I've gone in to pick up my prescription and am told to hold on 10 minutes while they fill it. First of all, rushing on a prescription is not a very ethical thing to do, and after hearing that, I always count my capsules before leaving to make sure the amount is correct. I've never had this issue, but still do it preventatively. Also, always be prepared to get told that they don't have enough of your prescription to fill it, because it will definitely happen. You'd think they'd order enough supply to withstand the demand that they have. Other than the staff being unorganized because they're overwhelmed with a large volume of customers, this pharmacy is OK. The pharmacist and his/her staff are friendly and apologetic when things don't go as they promised.
if this could be a negative number, I'd give them a negative 10! I recently visited the 24 hour Walgreens on Medical Drive for an emergency request for Narcan for someone who had accidentally overdosed on drugs. I was made to wait FORTY FIVE MINUTES!! This was a life-threatening emergency, and that wait was COMPLETELY unacceptable. I saw the line dwindle down to nothing at least three times wile I was there, and the drive through was not that busy on a Sunday night. When I inquired, the lady at the counter said something vague about paperwork. When I reminded them that people requesting this drug are always =urgently= in need, they still seemed to be taking their sweet time about it. I thought it strange that it was put through my health insurance though I'd have paid much more than the $10 I was charged, but much stranger that the staff would be so completely blasé and uncaring about something so important. Do better Walgreen's! You should be ashamed of yourselves.
The only reason I use this pharmacy is because it is open 24 hours. However, their customer service leaves much to be desired. Just this afternoon, as an example, we just wanted to drop off a prescription to pick up later this evening. We were in the drive up, and when I pressed the "help" button to say I was just dropping it off, the girl just rudely blurted out that she would be with me "in a minute," and didn't wait for my response. There were other workers there, and only one other person in line. In the past, the wait times have been long, and the communication horrible. Sometimes they claim not to have gotten the prescriptions from the doctor when they have, or I'll go to pick it up at the time it's supposed to be ready and it's not. When I or my wife actually have to speak to them over the phone, they act like we are interrupting them and they give us short shrift. They need to hire more people if they are that slammed.
Beware of towing! We parked at the edge of the parking lot so we could go grab a Starbucks drink before going into Walgreens. We came out and our truck was gone. We asked a lady that was in her car if she saw what happened to our car. She said she saw someone tow it! I went to talk to someone in Walgreens. I know Walgreens didn’t have it towed, but I was just asking if they had complaints of fraudulent towing. She wouldn’t even answer me. She just looked at me like I was annoying her. I was very polite to her. Then another employee said it’s the towing company’s policies and they don’t have anything to do with it. She said they have problems with people parking at Walgreens and crossing the street to go to University Hospital so they don’t have to pay for parking. I get that, but I was a Starbucks and Walgreens customer and my car was towed. I guess if your customers are going to get towed, I’ll just go to CVS from now.
Poor experience. Script faxed over from Dr. Not received when we arrived, told to come back "an hour later." The pharmacy was closed an hour later, but they hadn't gotten the fax from the doctor anyway. The next morning, went to pharmacy and was told to come back in an hour. Did so, but only one portion of script was ready. Pharmacy claimed to have not gotten the rest via fax. Dr. resent, Walgreens told us to come back "in two hours." I called 10 minutes later to confirm two hour time frame, and was told "four to four and a half hours," because they had gotten backed up in those passing ten minutes. Yeah, no thanks. Your customer service is horrible. Absolutely horrible. I have less than zero confidence in the answers given and this makes me question the care with which the scripts are filled. Will never use this pharmacy again if we can help it.
DON'T BOTHER CALLING, tonight I was on the phone for 1 hour and 15 minutes before I got a pharmacy person. My total call time was 81 minutes. I also called the CVS across the street, and they said the would NOT transfer from that WALGREENS because THEY NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONE, so they said to get my doctor to send new prescriptions to them. ALSO, Last night I called around 1235 Am and used their automated filling phone machine, and it confirmed that my prescriptions would be ready at 3 AM. I arrived at 4:15AM... AND THEY WEREN'T READY AND IT WAS GOING TO BE 30 more minutes. By which time I was going to be asleep after a long day. The staff of the pharmacy is nice and courteous, just UNDERSTAFFED. And they are legitimately concerned about drug interactions, which I greatly appreciate. BUT Don't waste your TIME!
Customer service there was terrible I went in to get some perfumes I asked them to price match what was showing on the walgreen app they told me that's not allowed I spoke to the Manger n he denied my request he said those online prices were for online order only but when I tried to order them online they said they were out of stock but they were Cleary in-stock at the store, I work for walgreen so I kown its posted on the front door and is policy to price match what shown on the walgreen app...my manger has trained us correctly at my location to always put customer first and make sure they leave the store happy! ...management and his team there need to be trained on that course again! Very rude and disrespectful. Maybe they should learn a thing or two from my manager & team leads! .l.
So I got a text that my son's prescription was ready so I headed there to pick it up. Once I hot to the counter, the tech told me that 2 out of the 3 could be filled. The one they needed to get in contact with the dr to get the dosage/the type of medicine. She asked me what the doctor told me so I told her. And then tells me that they still need to contact the doctor. So I'm there like why didn't you contact me earlier that they needed to contact the doctor during their business hours. Now they are closed and my son cant get his medicine to get better. THANK YOU WALGREENS PHARMACY. You are the reason why my son wont get better and have to go the whole weekend without his medicine. Dont get your prescriptions from this pharmacy. You are better off going somewhere else.
Expected a wait and called ahead. They said they needed an hour over the phone. I gave them 2 hours. Waited behind a car in the drive thru for 20 minutes who didn't even take their prescription when they left. Then pulled up and the woman at the window said they needed 20 to 30 minutes still. Sat inside and listened to the same women at the drive thru continuously provide the worst customer service ever. Almost enough to scare people away from walgreens completely. The manager seems to care less. Don't get me wrong they seem to deal with some of the most unmanageable customers. They also have a substantial increase in customers in the evening's as they are the closest 24 hour pharmacy. With that being said they should be smart enough to staff accordingly.
First I would give it 0 if I could ..Dropped off Medication on Monday and it was to be done in 24hrs it’s a compound and is only made at certain locations this just happened to be one and closest to me form work it’s now Thursday still isn’t done , called several times during the week to wait 8-10 min for someone to pick up finally I get a hold of some one while I’m already driving to their drive threw to see what’s going on cause I was tired of no one picking up the line , they explain to me the order hasn’t been ready and they will put a “note” to get it started today ... it’s a medication shouldn’t y’all have started this when I requested it ? Overall just furious that I have to wait almost a week for a medication that I need
Terrible pharmacy service. My wife came straight from the hospital with a doctor's note to drop off a new prescription to get filled for a broken ankle. Couldn't get an update over the phone to notify if the prescription was ready. Several hours later I had drive back there only for them to say the doctor's note was invalid. They didn't even have the courtesy to call us to say there was an issue with the note. The hospital called them directly to straighten out the issue. Still no resolution. Diana and her superiors are the worst. The hospital called in my wife's prescription to another pharmacy and it was admitted and filled in under 2 hours. I went to pick it up and without any problem. I wish I could give Walgreens 0 stars!
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Went it today for photos, she literally put the camera right in front of my face so up close my face looked weird. When I told her about it she said this is how we take it. I've taken half a dozen photos recently for passport and they weren't like that. She was rude right off the bat anyway. One of the other employees chimed in and joined her in her nonsense. But I let them know that it's not how it's done. She then rudely suggested to go somewhere else when I said I don't have time she said I'll take another one of you and magically came with a camera that she allegedly claimed was "dying". Worst customer service ever!! They were literally telling me pay this or leave
Customer service SUCKS!! I called Walgreens at 11:30 p.m. to inquire about getting passport photos. I was informed the Walgreens photo section is opened 24 hours, and I could get passport photos anytime I wanted to. I told the Walgreens employee I was heading en route to Walgreens, and that I was only 3 minutes away from their location. When I arrived (three minutes later) I was instructed I couldn't get a passport photo due to the floor was being waxed. The overnight manager recommended me to go to the 24-hr Walgreens, located at Commerce Street, and General McMullen Drive. I arrived at 11:50 p.m., to that Walgreens location and was informed the Walgreens photo lab closed at 11:00p.m.
Yes, the wait is a little long but what do you expect for a 24 hour pharmacy. I was there lat last night and I can tell they were doing the best they could and it was very busy. I have to give a huge THANK YOU to Sam who was the cashier. My insurance did not want to cover my prescription. She found a coupon but the system was down. She said she would be able hold it and process the coupon tomorrow and I can come back for a refund. She did not have to offer to do that but she did! My prescription was over 100.00 and I will be getting 94.00 back! I hope the manager reads this as she went out of her way to do this for me and some others. Thank you SAM!!
Rude, rude, rude! Got ignored in the drivetru for almost 15 minutes while the pharmacist blabbered on forever with a customer laughing away dispite me watching them receive their medications and receipt. I pressed the button, i honked, i stared at them but the staff just didn't seem to care. Then i drive off and decide to try one more time. And let me make this clear, it is 5am, it is empty besides that one customer. Well this guy tells me it's going to be 45 minutes to a hour because he's so behind. I can see why he's behind♀️ Why are these managers not teaching these staff common courtesy? He just ignored me 15 minutes to tell me he's behind!
I gave my presciption and my insurance card and then they told me that it will be ready in 2hours. So i came back to pick up and said that they didnt accept humana. They could have told me from start that they didnt accept humana so they dont waste my time. So i had no choice to pay full price. The next day i spoke with pharmacist and wanted to return prescription because cvs accepts humana she said its against the law and cant refund ,ok i understand but she did it with evil smile like we ripped you off and you cant do anything about it, she didnt show any compassion she only wanted to express that she is right!
The Walgreens here in San Antonio texas are very slow I understand ur short staff but today I went to three Walgreens trying to get my medicine and came home with nothing. This Walgreens very unprofessional staff .. I called before hand to makesure they had my meds and they said yes and told me wat I’ll be paying with insurance. I drove really far cuz the other two Walgreens around me were out of stock. Then the guy is telling me they don’t have it like why would u say yes on the phone and Make me drive all the way over there .. they all need training how to work and talk to customers… very upset …
They kept hanging up on my fiance who wanted to know if there was stock of an item she needed but didn't want to waste time and gas if they didn't have it. After 3 tries- we get someone, she found the item in stock and my fiance asked if they could put them at the register and she'd have me go pick them up. Drove there and grabbed a few things before walking up to the register for the cashier to look at me and say "we didn't get a phone call to put anything on hold up here." I heard you on the phone with her saying you would hold it for her and it took me about 30 minutes to get there! Ridiculous.
EXTREMELY unorganized pharmacy, but some what nice pharmacy staff, and some very inexperienced. Waited up to three hours for my prescription that the tech said would be ready in 30-45 minutes, about three hours past and I was told it got lost and they basically teamed up on me and sheewwd me away, saying I already had it when I really did not. It was a new script. Called corporate. Just concerned about those who actually need severe medication, I just have legitimate anxiety and now I'm left without it. The cashier at the front had better communication than the pharmacy.Would not recommend.
Pro: professional interactions with staff Cons: no one manning the 24 hour drive-through when I tried to drop off my prescription in the early AM. The pneumatic tube took my script anyway, but no one answered the drive-through for ~10 min and I had to come back in the PM to sort it out. When I came back to pick up my script, the pharmacist filled for 30 days instead of the intentionally prescribed 90 without verifying my preference, assuming I wanted it that way for insurance reasons. All in all, bad experience and unacceptably inconvenient. Will be sticking with CVS.
Tuesday night at 830p. Cashier is busy with a big line, Pharmacy has a line.....and there was no other person around in the store to help. I couldn't find what I was looking for. I was walking around the store for 15min, carrying my 6month old in car seat, and my 2yo following me. Terrible experience today. Pharmacy was had it faults more that once, but I've never left a review. Once had a lady tell me it would be 30 min for my meds, waited 45 and no one even knew I was waiting. Another time, I got bad attitude from the lady at the drive-thru.
Started as my favorite location. 24hrs and quick service. Until a week ago when they hired a new woman in pharmacy. She is the most rude and de sensitized person I've ever met. No compassion or understanding to help the customer. Almost seems lost behind the counter. I'll deal with the other one closing early rather than return to this location ever again. 3 years ago y'all were high star rating now I see why it's a 2 star review. Maybe the customers are on to something about the companies ability to screen and hire customer oriented employees
This is the worst Walgreens ever. They constantly overlook called in prescriptions so u have to babysit them by calling every day which they then leave you on hold forever so you can finally get frustrated and hang up. The automatic answering recording is another pain, oh you can use complete phrases and they still don't understand and they finally give you the option to say something else. Whoever thought that was a great idea was completly wrong unless they thought of it as a way for customers to just give up and hang up
Called them first to see if they were able to fill a prescription they said they could. Once I arrived and showed the prescription from the Doctors office they told me they could not. When I told her the reason I called was to have this taken care of not to be given the run around. She looked puzzled at me and just told me that she was sorry. Well that’s not gonna cut it ! Do your damm job or get the hell out so someone that wants to do your pharmaceutical job can. Never will return ever to have them be so incompetent!
Very rude and hateful pharmacy staff. After waiting an hour for a script, I was told it was ready but the person at the window would not take my insurance info through the drive thru. I explained I had a sleeping, sick 5 year old in the backseat and she said "I can't help you. You have to come in" In a very rude and hateful manner. I then asked to speak to the pharmacist who informed me their computer systems were down. Incredibly frustrating experience, especially after an exhausting day taking care of a sick child.
Although this is most likely the busiest Walgreens, I find it to be the best. The 24 hour convenience has its perks. I always find what I'm looking for and their prices are on target, if not better than the competition. The staff both on the floor & in the pharmacy are always helpful and kind no matter how swamped they may be. They're quick to open extra registers when necessary. I've been going to this location for years & highly recommend it to anyone!! Great job Walgreens at Medical & Wurzbach!!!
If i can give 0 stars i would. The pharmacy at this location is terrible. The store staff is fine but the pharmacy is beyond terrible i have been coming to this location for few months now because its close to me and its 24 hrs. Im fed up with this pharmacy staff is slow there is a line every time i come in at different times of the day. You wait hours for a prescription and now they gave me the wrong medicine. I hate this pharmacy so much. Someone do something about this location!!!!!!
Kept with them for a year and every single time turns out to be miserable no matter the time of day or day of the week. Any time frame they give you to pick up will be 25 minutes longer minimum. Dropped calls when trying to call in. No apologies when the phone system didn't actually put in an order after it said I could pick it up at a specific time. Go a cross the street to CVS or go 10 minutes down wurzbach to the bandera location because the location of this place is not worth it.
I had my perscription sent to this pharmacy again. I don't know what I was thinking. They have never had my medication available. I'm not even talking about available for pickup. They don't have it at all. What makes me the most angry is the fact that I get to the window, they tell me to wait 30 minutes only to call me in 30 minutes to tell me they don't have it available. I wouldn't recommend this pharmacy to anyone. If I could give them 0 stars, I would.
There's a super special person that helped me in photo section. His name is Elias. My brother is a disabled veteran and has been in and out of the hospital at BAMC. On Wednesday May 24th he will be 67 years old. I wanted to make him a special card with our pictures on it. I was having such a hard time doing this until Elias very patiently help me put together such a beautiful card. It came out even better than I had planned. Please thank him again for me.
I love Walgreens but definitely won't be using this one again. I've had to wait for a prescription 2+ hours AFTER it was supposed to be done on 3 separate occasions just to be told after waiting that they were out of my prescription. Save yourself some frustration and go to the CVS across the street. They are much faster and much more attentive to their customers. Moving all my prescriptions there today. Walgreens is great, just not this one.
This is actually "my" walgreens. I live in the area and I've had this location as my default pharmacy for over a year now. It is very busy due to the location and it being 24 hours, but I've never had any issues. I love that it's 24 hours. There's a drive-thru. I do get off sometimes just to see the goodies in the "holiday" isles. Walgreens always has great items as gifts. Take a look around! Having the points card really adds up!
Ashley was amazing. She was verrrrryyy tired from working her 2 jobs for her children. Without hesitation she provided customer service that was UNMATCHED for a day shift but an overnight shift for the night people. Which we can all agree are terrible when working 2 jobs. She deserves a raise and protection’s like masks provided to keep her upholding your company and her happy and healthy New favorite store. Thank you Ashley.
Very pleased with the services I receive here! I've been coming to this location for 3 years now and they are always helpful and give great customer service. They are usually slammed since it's 24hrs and surrounded by hospitals but I have never been treated wrong or not assisted when a problem occurred. today a young lady even offered to put my standing fill on automatic fill and to receive text when my script is ready.
Find another Walgreens. Go to CVS. Avoid this place at all cost. Unless, of course, you like wasting your time waiting over 30 minutes in the pharmacy line to pick up your medication, because there is always only one person helping who also has to work the drive through. If you enjoy waiting over an hour for a vaccine that you made an appointment for ahead of time, then this is the place for you!
I give the Walgreens on Fredericksburg @ Vance Jackson Rd 5 stars because of the pharmacy manager with the Australian accent. ..She is awesome!... While most of the time the service of the staff is very slow..(probably due to being understaffed)... .she makes up for it with friendliness and professionalism! !.. She stays calm and positive in stressful situations. ..and gets the job done! ! :-)
Extremely disappointed. Had my car towed because the towing company saw me leave and go across the street to handle other buisness. What they didn't see in their camera was the fact I was waiting to pickup a prescription, which when I went inside was informed would be at least 45 mins. So $235 tow fee and an hour missed of work later, I can not believe they would treat Customers like that!!!
Nnnnnnnno Star I purchased two syrups ( Ibropen and Morton) today. There was 50% discount pasted on shelf. When I brought it to the cashier she didn’t give any discount then I asked the cashier about the discount, she said I am sorry! I going to to return this to your account if you wait here. I didn’t have a time to wait overthere because i had class at university.): Bad experience of today
I go here all the time as I work non-traditional hours & it's the only place open 24 hours now (can't tell you how much I miss HEB & Walmart). it's always clean, never any issues there. most of the overnight staff are really nice & willing to help you look for something, etc. I've never had any issues here, whatsoever & I'm literally there at least 4 days out of the week!!
I went here for the pharmacy because it's the closest to my house, and Walgreens is what I used when I lived in MN....worst pharmacy I've ever been to. The staff is so dense. They don't know what the hell they are doing or talking about. If I went into detail I'd have to write a book, not worth it...here's your warning. Would actually give them negative stars if I could.
I placed a order for pickup and upon arrival was informed the store would only dispense 1 of 2 items ordered. The transaction is pending and my time basically waisted. Note to the cashier, assistant manager and store manger treat “ALL” people the same. I defiantly DO NOT recommend this Walgreens location at all. Horrible management skills to say the least.
If you like to sit in your car for an hour and burn gas go to this drive thru pharmacy. (Have to use the air conditioner) Cars don’t move before 25 minutes! After an hour I got tired of wasting gas, being in pain after already being in the ER for hours, so as soon as the frustrated person behind me left I backed up and left! Never experienced this at H‑E‑B
The pharmacy is a nightmare. We called 2 days ago to check on our prescriptions and told the girl we have a savings card and told us to give it to them when we got there. When we picked up our pills, Javier got upset and gave us attitude when we told him about the savings card. They shouldn't be in customer service if they don't treat others with respect.
Extremely rude staff girl named Cruz and shift leader Christopher Lancaster, accused me of lying because I tried to use coupons printed from P&G.com they didn’t come in my newspaper and the MFR directed to print online. I asked if this was coupon policy they said they don’t follow corporate coupon policy. Don’t come here. Don’t give them your money!
Extremely unreliable staff! This is the 2nd time our already confirmed prescription "magically" disappears. The only reason we use them, sparingly, is because the do compounds. What a poor poor example of timely, dependable service. Our 1 year old daughter now has to suffer in pain another day ... IF they manage to get it done as promised.
We had to wait for more 1hr for booster dose for my daughter. They kept on saying we will be with you in a while.. And next day I got a call from the pharmacist stating that they had given a primary dose instead of bivalent. But in the card they have mentioned as Bivalent. And they were not sure what to do and when to give the next dose...
Very long wait time in line. The unbelievable part is that while waiting in long line you can hear the pharmacy staff having all kinds of fun in very animated conversations. Maybe it’s just me but I think that would slow down their work. Hence the incredibly long wait time in line. And doesn’t this type of job require concentration?
Went for a COVID test. Arrived a little before my time but a long line. 45 minutes of waiting patiently only to be told I missed my appointment and I would have to be rescheduled hours later. Explained I was in line and THEY were slow. Didn't throw a fit, took my ID back. But seriously, I arrived early and wasted time and money.
No line, long wait time. Pharmacists repeatedly asked us how they can help us and had no clue we were the same customers despite them telling us to wait for 10 to 15 minutes in the outdoor drive thru lane. It was pretty frustrating!!! 3 cars came and left all while we were kept waiting for about 50 minutes in the outside lane.
Customer Service makes the difference! I was there early last weekend to pick up photos I ordered online. I appreciate the prompt and friendly service. Eric was helpful in assisting me with a photo I needed to have duplicated. No grunting or sighing. He was casual and knowledgeable. It made my visit there pleasant. Thank you.
Was told yesterday my prescription would be ready, drove 20 minutes out of my way on my lunch break to be told they don't have any of my medications. Wish I wasn't told on the phone they were ready. I not only waste my time and gas, but could have also let my Doctor know to send a new prescription somewhere else.
Store shows open 24/7 always end up driving from far to come here just for medicines and the damn sign is always up "Closed due to system issues " I guess CVS is gonna be the move from now on ". Get it together Walgreens this store should be really reliable especially since it's in the medical center smh
Very disrespectful and unhelpful uncaring pharmacy staff. The whole thing is disorganized, messy and takes hours to fill a simple script even for cash payments. Pharmacist too big and important to deal with the public..on ALL shifts I have found. Front staff/store clerks are very nice however.
I filled out an online form for my COVID vaccine just to arrive and fill out the same exact form physically and then watch the clerks input the information back into into a computer. I then had to wait over 45min after my appointment time to get the vaccine. Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyy dude! So annoying.
Two stars for wasting my time. I use this pharmacy as a consumer because it is open 24/7. However, as a physician trying to call in orders, I find it frustrating. There is no direct line for prescribers. I just spent 20 minutes on hold to order Bactrim. Maybe it's time to change pharmacies.
I would like to commend the pharmacist or pharmacy tech that handled us at 2:20 AM on 10/29/2022. He was really patient and showed compassion for people; something that is rare nowadays, especially in health care. Thank you kind sir for restoring my faith in healthcare tonight. God bless!
The store is great and fine. Walgreens photo is meh. They never cut my square photos down to size. Printed 90 photos today and I have 90 4x6 photos instead of 4x4s. When I ask them to fix it in store they do a quick hack job, I wish they would just do it properly when they were printed.
Sometimes could be the worse pharmacy or the best pharmacy , I been using this pharmacy for over 25 years , but depends of the staff that work the shift. Because this pharmacy it's located in the medical center should provide the best service , so it can obtain 5 Stars but it's not .
I have never seen such rude people in a pharmacy in my life! There's a young girl named Marisela a Pharmacy Tech that was so coldly rude you could cut the cold air with a knife, the one with the nose piercing talking rudely to an elderly gentleman, and the window girl. Wow! Horrible.
I have had CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES lost by staff three times now. The wait for the drive through (since I am unable to walk) takes AT LEAST thirty minutes to an hour. The staff (besides the pharmacy manager) are all very very nice which is the only reason they deserve a star at all.
Worse pharmacy I know. They never have the medicine I need. First they give you one time then another 30 min then oh give us another hour, well really?. . 3 hours to get your f medicine. I did go to CVS but my insurance doesnt pay there. I need to change it. This location sucks.
My patient has seizures and a vomiting condition. I need refills on medication and no one is answering! Not even the store! This is supposed to be a 24 hr location! I was on hold for 30+ minutes with no answer twice! I guess they all decided to go to lunch at the same time?!
They should close this place down. We are going with CVS from now on. I waited two hours in line for the clerk to tell me to wait 30min more. Then he asked me to move very rudely. Is this how they treat customers? If there were negative stars they would get a -5
most employees there are all snobby and give attitude while checking you out. No greet or anything always standing around talking to each other, the pharmacy has its downsides also, but they can have their good days. I really wanted to like this Walgreens.
I filled out all of the information for express pick up. I walked up to the express counter and was told there was only one line. So what's the point of an express lane. Just so you know don't bother with the express stuff it makes no difference.
Recently switched from CVS across the street. The staff was above and beyond as far as helping me with the transition. I take 5 meds a month so, I interact with them frequently. They always greet me, treat me really well and go above and beyond.
Worst experience at a pharmacy ever. Without going into the lengthy details, the tech lied to me in the phone, saying he had my scrip and it would fill within the hour, only to tell me to my face that he had no record of it in their system.
This place is terrible do not I repeat do not even go here they misled me give me wrong information I live an hour away I explain to them they convinced me to transfer my medication prescription over to them when I did they told me to wait
Was here 3 hours ago and dropped a prescription in the drop off lane and waited 30 minutes behind a lady who was actually picking up a prescription. Came back 3 hrs. Later and tried the samething she did to inconvience me and they told me
I wanted to return an item and have misplaced my receipt. I showed my drivers license and I was not sure if I bought the item at this store or not. The associate and manager said that they cannot return the item. They could have given me
What the heck? Closed for 3 hours at 02:00 ? People coming for emergency and the Staff or what ever sit front the door disrespectful. Leg on the leg play phone no answer nothing. Never come again to the store . Dislike …
Waited over an hour for my second dose because they decided to auto schedule me for their busiest time and not a single person said "thank you for waiting" or "it will be just another few minutes" thanks Walgreen's for wasting my time.
Well been sitting in the drive thru for almost an hour. And even called they told me I was just going to have to wait. After she told me oh it will be one hour. I didn't come back for 2 hours and my babies script was still not done.
Pharmacy takes way to long to assist you! Horrible customer service skills. Do not recomend this pharmacy. Took 20 minutes at the window for someone to come and acknowlege my existance. Freaking ridiculous and lost my prescription
I’m very unsatisfied with this Walgreens. I dropped off my prescription at 630pm they tell me it will be ready by 8pm. I get back to store by 8pm and for them to tell me they don’t have the prescription that I can go to another
This pharmacy has got to be the absolute slowest one in San Antonio. Only 3 people in line in front of me and I have been waiting for 20 minutes and nobody has moved. My advice to anyone asking would be to "go someplace else"!
They were so helpful at this location. I was having a hard time locating my health insurance information and one of the pharmacists looked up my information and gladly helped me lower my medication cost but a landslide.
Just waited to drop off in queue and waited 45 mins to get that ready and when Rx was ready they again wanted me to stand in queue!! Why do you have 2 different queues!! Next time I would go to CVS across Road!!
The customer service was fairly good, but the price gouging is absolutely preposterous. A large quantity of items are well over $5, and the mere 8 items I purchased came out to $51.11. NEVER AGAIN!
Slowest drive thru ever! I’m glad I don’t use this pharmacy often and only had to because it was by work. If you like to wait 25+ minutes wasting gas, then this is the drive thru for you!
The pharmacy staff here are amazing and helpful and always trying to get me the lowest cost on my medication. The store is clean and organized. I would definitely recommend this Walgreens
Store is fine but they always seem to be out of a lot of the sodas in their coolers every time i go in looking for regular coca cola. Otherwise it's a typical Walgreens
Good staff and service . Big parking space . Its strange to see some patients walking in around . Some products are over priced and out of stocks .
Has everything you need. The staff here are friendly and helpful. I was struggling with the new app and they took the time to walk me through it.
DO NOT GET YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS FILLED HERE; INSTEAD GO TO HEB PHARMACY. HEB Pharmacy - 8300 Floyd Curl Dr. Ste 105, San Antonio, TX 78229
The employees encourage me to feel less than, and never let me use the restroom, basically like CVS and a couple other places. Pricey!!
