Great little museum boasting exhibits of the world's first public railway, one of the first Augustinian monasteries in England, along with the history of all the plant oil distilleries, snuff mills, copper works, and printing works that still emanate in the area. They also have block printing classes you can sign up to.
It was very informative about Merton, Morden Hall Park, Industries, History of Public Railway and seeing the printing blocks for the William Morris design was very interesting.

Small and local and packed with interesting stuff. Nice contour map model too. Very knowledgeable staff. All volunteering enthusiasts. Can book to do woodblock printing like William Morris!
I visited the Wandle industrial museum on Mitcham heritage day. It was very informative and seeing the printing blocks for the William Morris design was very interesting.
Opened Wednesday and Sunday only Small museum of just two rooms Loved the models showing what life was like over 150 years ago along the wandle river.
Very informative museum and friendly staff. Will visit again :)

Lovely, local museum. Great social history. The helpers / guides are delightful and helpful. There is also a modest shopping / gift range.
