All presented with friendly, helpful & professional service to customers. I now live about 400kms away from Wantirna. Before Xmas the air conditioning broke down in my much loved 2005 SAAB. Local Auto Electrician /Air Conditioning repair workshop inspected it & pronounced the compressor dead. Offered to get a firm quote for a new compressor after the holidays. In January the SAAB ended up in Melbourne after a visit by an overseas daughter's family. David squeezed in a service appointment. A few days later the car was back with the original A/C compressor serviced & seals replaced & working perfectly again. Also the floor heater on the passenger side had ceased up some time back. Local mechanic had not been able to fix the problem. David diagnosed a small electric motor had ceased. New motor put in & hinged flaps etc lubricated & heater ready for winter. Very happy wife in passenger's seat. All for a few hours labour cost & thanks to an expert & thorough team of mechanics working under the oversight of a very proud & 100% committed boss. I will have to find a way for the SAAB to keep heading off on some long drives back to Wantirna if I want to maintain full confidence in its mechanical prowess in the future. PS. I am still waiting 10 weeks later for the quote from the local Auto Electrician for the not needed brand new compressor! Very happy long term customer indeed.

I have had all 5 of my SAAB's serviced by Wantirna Automotive for 20+ years. David and his crew have always been helpful and carried out all servicing on the day and returned my cars in a spotless condition. I have never had any of my cars breakdown. His charges have been reasonable compared to dealer service charges and are value for money. David also serviced my Range Rover Sport. I have moved to Bonbeach but still take my SAAB 95 Aero Gen 2 to Wantirna Automotive. I have no hesitation recommending Wantirna Automotive.

We highly recommend Wantirna Automotive. David knows his stuff and always does a fantastic job of looking after our SAAB. His prices are reasonable and he will look for hard to find parts. He is happy to source second hand parts or non-genuine parts if he thinks they are just as good. This is really important as SAAB parts are only going to become harder to find. I love that when we pick up our car, it has had a quick vacuum and clean - such a nice touch and something that you just don't expect anymore these days.

We have been customers of Wantirna Automotive for more than 20 years and are delighted with the competent and friendly service from David and his team. They are thorough and reliable and provide excellent service at a very fair price. Recently a door handle broke on our Citroen C5 and I was quoted $145 by Lance Dixon for labour to fit a replacement. David, who had never fitted one before, completed the job in 15 minutes and charged just $33. This is typical and a very good reason to use their services.

A good mechanic is hard to find so I'm really happy I tried this place. I have only been twice, but both times they were able to fit me in when it suited me. What I also found impressive was that they take the time to explain what is wrong with your car, give you options and also give you an accurate estimate of cost. Furthermore, both times my car was ready when they said it would be - with the problem successfully fixed. I cannot recommend this place highly enough...thanks Dave.
