This place is quite nice, I must say. I was expecting worse, but it is rather spacious and has plenty of washing machines, dryers and even two centrifuges. The location is pretty good: you have plenty of supermarkets nearby (Carrefour, Colruyt, Delhaize, Lidl) as well as other stores. Price-wise it seems like it is on par with the other laundrettes, but it is cheaper than e.g. Wasbar which is more of a hipster bar than a real laundrette. You can buy special coins (see photo) with cash only, so take some with you. It would be great if you could pay with a card or phone instead of carrying cash and getting coins. To the owner, would you consider a long-term card/pass for people who are staying in Gent for half a year or longer (like me), but who cannot have a washing machine in their place? It would really be a huge help to all the students and expats in Ghent. All in all, I recommend this place.

Great location, good store. I'm really glad the owner took the effort to list on Google Maps. Unless they need it themselves, even locals don't know usually where the nearest Wassalon is. I'm giving 5 starts just so more people are aware of it. Not to mention that there is basically free parking, free bike parking, the park just nearby making this a perfect place to walk around while you are waiting for the wash to finish.

Reasonably priced and does the job. That is all there is to say about the place though. There's drunks sitting in front of the doorway every time I go. These are smelly, loud and rude. This isn't an issue created by the owner, but he isn't exactly preventing it either. The soap holders are rather gritty and so is the floor.

Mag wel eens een opknap beurt krijgen. Ik vind de laatste tijd dat zaakhouders er maar weinig tijd insteken. Hoe beter het voorkomt hoe meer volk je zal trekken. En je wasmachines eens grondig uitkuisen. Ik heb al 2x gehad dat ik witte vlekken heb gekregen door jullie wasmachines (en er zat niks in mijn broekzakken)

De helft van de droogkasten werken niet. Het is telkens´schuiven voor iets te laten drogen. We hebben vier euro in een droogkast gestoken die aanstaat maar niet werkt. Zonder vermelding dat het defect is. Dit bij twee machines. Er zijn geen contactgegevens. En om af te ronden. Enorm vuil. Gene aanrader mensen.

Proper wassalon met duidelijke instructies. De nieuwe conciërge trekt echter enorm veel louche figuren aan. Hij staat er buiten mee te drinken en laat ze in het salon zitten. Een paar weken terug lag er zelfs één te slapen op de grond. Ik voel me er niet altijd even veilig als vrouw zijnde.

Heel goed onderhouden en verder ook zeer goede locatie (vlot bereikbaar met auto, openbaar vervoer, etc.). Ligt vlakbij heel wat andere winkels, wat handig is als je aan het wachten bent tot dat je was klaar is. Prijs-kwaliteit: dik in orde.

Inorde, voldoende om je was te doen en drogen. Soms onduidelijke instructies maar ik ben goed geholpen geweest door de vriendelijke eigenaar/onderhouder.

De terugbetaling van 2x €4,50, wegens een defecte wasmachine, is nog steeds niet gebeurd.
