I was so overly pleased with the service and food I had today for lunch at watervista ! Every single person working here today was kind and helpful and accommodating - even during a busy period. I had the vegetable frittatas and they were delicious. So glad to have a great spot to grab a great bite to eat and a coffee or drink. This is now our favourite place to visit with friends. We arrive by boat and walk right up to a table that has been reserved and waiting for us. The girls are always smiling and they go out of their way to help us. The food is great and the prices are very reasonable considering we are at a waterfront restaurant. It’s so nice to just relax in the sun and enjoy the beautiful surroundings while watching boats come and go. We have also seen the occasional eagle flying through the valley. My kids love the waffles and the variety of milkshakes. We have told a lot of our friends about this hidden gem and we hope to be back very soon.

This foodies find was a real treat I think we have found Sydney’s secret treasure! Tucked away on Bay Road in Berowra waters our group found the New “Water Vista café”. We were welcomed with an inviting atmosphere, boasting beautiful views of the water and great ambience with live entertainment. Our group was greeted by friendly staff who, although busy, provided a memorable VIP service, receiving a feel of exclusivity on our very first visit. But this little treasures surprises kept coming. Providing 5 star food at Café prices, we received generous portions, and a good variety of options to choose from. Bon Vivant! Excellent service, Excellent food, Excellent setting. 5 stars all around. Looks like we will have to come back again to try out the rest of the menu. Thanks for making the end of our day trip a memorable one.

Simple food done well well sounds so simple to achieve. However, wafer thin margins selling food mean an incredibly hard to reach standard must be 'the norm' or massive losses will follow. Massive losses are not fun for anyone - customers and owners alike. Unfortunately as it stands, this is uniformly awful and fake reviews from friends in the long run will not help anyone. There is no way to say this nicely - the Water Vista offers appalling decor and food of an equal standing. Good luck, it's certainly not an easy road you've chosen but it's not impossible. Want inspiration? There are (now) a few local cafe's that do simple things well. A bakery in Glenorie and a Cafe near Aldi in Galston - look, listen and learn. All the best to you, hope it works out.

A group of us go out every Saturday night, rotating through a number of places for dinner, and we decided to try Water Vista Cafe last Saturday night. The cafe has such a lovely atmosphere, staff were extremely friendly, view was beautiful (even with a massive storm coming through) and the food was brilliant. We are certainly making this a permanent place on our Sat night list. Also looking forward to trying out breakfast here too.

We flew up from Melbourne for the weekend and on the recommendation of a Sydneyite friend we visited this charming little cafe. A google search for the location brought up all sorts of information. My partner and I had a beautiful day. What a great place. Relaxing and modern atmosphere, and beautiful food. From one business owner (with two decades of experience),to another... you will always have someone who has achieved nothing try to minimise your hard work. I feel it important to point out how impressed we were that one so young can achieve so much in today's market. Highly recommended.

Wow! What a brilliant improvement on the previous establishment that was in this location. Owned and run now by some very professional young ladies who understand that you need to smile and have fun when in hospitality and customer facing. Decor super cute. Service lovely. Food however was a little disappointing for the price, I didn’t enjoy my meal. I ordered the grilled barramundi and whilst the portion size was extremely generous, the fish was over cooked and tasted rubbery and unseasoned. Hubby’s burger wasn’t bad and the bruschetta was nice. Not sure if I would return, maybe just for a coffee instead of a meal.

Great view for sure, but the food was rubbish. My wife’s serving was particularly hopeless. Whoever’s in the kitchen needs some training, experience or both. Next time we’ll keep driving once we’re across the water, and stop in at Galston 10 minutes up the road. Message to owner and staff: Keep at it kids, but you’ll need to do a lot more yet to do your location justice.

Decent atmosphere and helpful staff. Food was average across the board with very limited selections. Mediocre value for money, you’ll be paying for exclusivity tax due to limited options nearby. The flathead was unfortunately over-fried and difficult to consume with the limited sauce. The fries were decently seasoned at least. Very limited parking, even the one a short walk away near the boat ramp does not have many spots.

Bad experience here. Food was not good and expensive. I asked for a side of avocado and it was so raw but the chefs didn’t care they just did their best to mash it and cover up how rock hard it was and served it. Dishes left unattended on tables for hours. We kept getting the wrong order. Very very disorganised and overpriced for what you get. Will not be coming back.

First time at this Cafe. Six adults, one in a wheelchair. Lovely atmosphere, outside overlooking the water and boats. Delicious food, all hot, fresh and reasonably priced. Don't go if you are hungry - spent $47 for 1 drink and 2 lunch meals and we were shocked at the tiny size of the meal. Fries and salad serving size absolutely miserable. It was an entree size at a mains price. Coffee was awful as well. Service was OK no overly professional or friendly but passable. Very angry at myself for not walking away and just getting a takeaway pie from up the road.

Loved the decor and the atmosphere here. The place is just beautiful with the lake on the side view. I particularly loved the vibes of the inside. It was beautifully decorated. For food we ordered the fish, tacos and burgers all were very fresh. I would definitely recommend Water Vista to everyone!

Very small portion of Fish and Chips. Lots of Chips but 2 very small pieces of Fish. Grilled Fish not an Option. Black Forrest Cake however was very generous and delicious. Happy to go there for Coffe and Cake, but reluctant to try any more Main Meals.
