7/2022 - While most people won't move twice in a year, our circumstances required two cross state moves. We loved West Coast Moving and Storage the first time (see review below) and could not imagine they would be game to come out of state to come move us again. We bid with several local companies and were floored by the pricing and delay required to use a local outfit. Sheepishly, I rang Michelle to ask if they would come get us and move us again. She was all over it and provided very competitive pricing and could accommodate our timing. Their administration is second to none. They are caring and professional. Our moving team was outstanding. We love Daniel as he'd moved us the first time; thrilled he was helping us the second time. He is so thoughtful. You're in very good hands with Daniel. He was joined by Jeromy and John. Nicest guys ever. They were patient with my questions. They were careful with my fragile items. They were a lot of fun to be with. So that is 2 for 2. I don't care where you are moving to on the West Coast - these guys are your best choice. Fast, efficient, kind, careful and fun. Best service at a great price. 11/2021 - I cannot recommend this team highly enough. They made a very difficult move so much easier. Due to some urgent medical issues, we needed to leave Portland quickly and have our things follow later. Michelle Allen was our primary contact and, let me tell you, that woman saved us. She was responsive, resourceful, understanding and kind. In a time of great stress, I always welcomed calls from Michelle. Along with Casey, Jason and Ryan, Michelle planned our move out of our Portland home as well as out of an offsite POD. They did this all without us being present. Just so fantastic. The move was on time and on budget. The movers were kind and courteous. Daniel was so thoughtful as they unloaded the truck and set up the furniture. Not a scratch, ding or break on anything. Moved from Portland, OR down to Southern CA with the help of West Coast Moving. A friend of mine had booked them to move their grand piano across town and were so impressed with them that she booked them to move the rest of her home items. They came highly recommended to me so I booked a consult on short notice and Jeromy arrived on even shorter notice and was so friendly and kind and responsive throughout our consult and with the follow up communication. On moving day, Daniel, Anthony,Keenan and Royer were polite, careful with our home to not dent or scratch surfaces, and protected our furniture pieces by wrapping them well. We appreciated their clarifying questions about what pieces we wanted to load, and were happy to load last minute items- and were truly pleasant throughout the whole process ! Having hard working , pleasant and experienced movers really put me at ease in knowing our items were being loaded well and that we could expect a smooth unloading at the destination with this team. We met two of the movers, Daniel and Anthony at our destination a few days later. They arrived on time , energized, professional yet warm, and ready to unload our jam packed 26’ truck. They worked very efficiently and very well together. They were so great to ask questions and ensure that items were being unloaded at the right part of the house. This was ultimately incredibly helpful with my own unpacking and the need to move around boxes to the right place. They handled our items with care . Daniel and Anthony were honestly so pleasant to be around and they kept a great pace throughout the move, that I felt motivated to unpack my boxes and be productive too. It was so nice to not have any major surprises when unpacking, and to see that most everything had arrived in the same condition as when we packed them. I recently made a big purchase and ordered a couch (8 feet long, and wide) off Joybird Furniture. My mind was set on getting this couch but due to the size and restrictions with the the original delivery service, I had to look into finding another delivery service to perform a hoisting job because the only way it was fitting through my apartment was through my patio door. Having given the details of my apartment, being on the 3rd floor, and the dimensions of the couch, I was told by Michelle at West Coast Moving and Storage, the hoisting job was doable for their team. I was able to coordinate with her in a timely manner for the job, and was given all the details for the cost, as well as a confirmation of the job the day before. West Coast Moving and Storage arrived on time the day of the job, and both swiftly and professionally, took over. Daniel, Manny, John and Keenan coordinated with each other to secure and hoist my brand new couch up and over my balcony, through my patio door, taking care of their surroundings. The guys unboxed, set up and removed the trash for my couch, and I'm a satisfied customer. This is my first time using a moving company, and I was definitely hesitant going off only reviews, but I'm happy it all worked out. I have moved my turn-of-the-century grand piano (translate as VERY HEAVY!!!!!) multiple times. The two piano movers (see picture) that West Coast Piano Movers sent me were fantastic. Despite picking the piano up at a location with a steep driveway and taking it around a very tight 90 degree turn on a small porch, the way they handled my piano left me calm and confident that my piano was in good hands. I have moved this piano 6 times. Only one other time has that been my experience. My piano lid has a 2" lip that can easily be damaged (along with the hinge that holds it onto the piano. It also has beautiful carving and legs that could easily be scarred. These two guys wrapped my piano in moving blankets as carefully as if it were their own piano, and took equal care of the piano bench, piano legs, lyre, etc. They will be my piano movers if I ever need my piano moved, and I would highly recommend them to anyone, most especially to those who have a heavy, ornate antique piano they cherish and are concerned about being taken good care of. It was clear that this team knew what they were doing and took their job seriously and with care. To add to this, both gentleman were friendly, professional, confident, and courteous. I would highly recommend them. My one tip is, block off the day so that if there are any traffic or routing delays you have the time you need.

We are minimalists and don't have too much but when we moved from our apartment to a townhome - the only thing we needed help with moving was a wide sofa. Before West Coast, we leveraged the help of another moving company that came over, tried to fit the sofa through our narrow stairway and failed miserably, all the while charging us their hefty moving fees. West Coast came in to the rescue. The moving team, Matt, Jacob and Angel, were very professional. Wrapped our furniture and the balcony area from where they were going to hoist it up with tons of protective clothing and got the job done smoothly and without any issue. They also had a very nice demeanor about them, kept us at ease and we felt like our inventory was being taken care of. Note to all - When moving, make sure the movers are muscular because even the lightest of equipment does require a lot when trying to maneuver it around tight spaces. I would recommend these three (Matt, Jacob and Angel) to anyone who wants their equipment moved with care and their walls ding free during the move.

Jeromy and his team (Daniel, Sergei, Royer - and a couple of others I can't remember right now) did a first class job surveying our house, planning the packing and then moving all our belongings into our garage in preparation for a major remodel. Whenever they had a question, they asked - they just didn't assume what to do. This is a first class group of strong guys who worked efficiently, quickly and respectfully of ALL our belongings. I have asked for the same crew to come back when it is time to move back into our main living area. I enthusiastically recommend West Coast M&S. They are a great team which works hard and does not spare the details. I left a voice mail and Jeromy called me back and offered, on a Saturday, to come by and help me look for it! I declined his offer and found it shortly thereafter. But the offer he made was above and beyond. That's real Service. Thank you!

We contacted West Coast Moving & Storage to assist with the move of a very heavy and oversized (275 lbs) item from our garage to the second floor of our home. Daniel and Sergei arrived early (after calling to verify our availability), assessed the task needing to be completed and how best to handle it. After their assessment, they got right to work and took the utmost of care in moving the item to the second floor. Further, they unpacked the item, moved it into the desired room, and then helped us assemble the item promptly. It should be noted that there was a "tilt monitor" on the shipping box that would tell if the item had been titled in the wrong direction, shaken or mishandled. Daniel and Sergei took such good care while moving this large piece that the "tilt monitor" never budged, and the item was in pristine condition upon unboxing. We would DEFINITELY use West Coast Moving & Storage again, and we HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company and, in particular, Daniel and Sergei for being such an awesome and professional team.

West Coast Moving is an excellent company! We have hired them for three moves: two local in the Portland metro and one cross-country. Each time, the movers packed and handled our belongings with care and respect. We were unable to be present when the belongings of our entire former house were moved from a storage unit into a moving truck and then to another house across the country, but Judah was in touch with us along the way, texting us updates as he drove our belongings across the US, from Vancouver, Washington, to Columbus, Ohio, giving us peace of mind. He protected the contents of our home (including original art, musical instruments, and family keepsakes) and delivered them all to us safely and undamaged. He really cares about his work. All West Coast Moving employees we’ve worked with have been organized, diligent, and thoughtful and also kind to and mindful of our young child with autism.

Michelle with West Coast moving was extremely helpful and timely in helping us get our move scheduled. She was very kind on the phone and easy to work with. Answered all our questions and was very personable. My husband and I used West Coast Moving and Storage twice in the past couple of months. They were timely, professional, organized and very kind. They moved our full two bedroom condo furniture into our new house in less than 2.5 hours all while maintaining the integrity of our belongings. They had to lift our sectional sofa over our balcony to move into the new space and they handled it very well. They moved two 65" TV's with absolutely no problem. Definitely not their first rodeo. We had the opportunity of working with Daniel, Sergei and Royer and highly recommend this team! 10/10 would use them again in the future and refer to family and friends.

It was our best decision to choose West Coast Moving and Storage and we were lucky to meet Daniel and Sergei for our move. Actually, today was our 3rd time to use this company - twice for moving my piano(in last year and few days ago), and today for our household move. Working with West Coast Moving Company was a breeze especially on this kind of stressful day. They were so responsive and caring during the process including the notice few days before D-day. Daniel and Sergei also prepared extra clothes to cover our big furnature I missed to cover, and cared about the places we have. The price was exactly same with the quote we got before(we think the price is fairly low compared to their quality and service!) West Coast Moving did a fantastic job helping us move across town. Michelle was a breeze to schedule with, and communication was clear and frequent leading right up to the day of the move. On the day of the move, the crew arrived on-time and went straight to work. They were able to help with dis-assembling big, awkward furniture, working quickly and carefully through tight corners and lots of stairs, and did everything so MUCH FASTER than I could have ever done myself. They were careful and professional with all my stuff - and came equipped with everything needed to wrap and protect my belongings. They listened carefully to all instructions, and made sure to get everything exactly where I needed it in the new place. Moving is a real pain, but West Coast Moving & Storage made it a LOT BETTER! We all know moving is such a stressful experience, especially a last minute move with two small children and a busy schedule, but these guys made it 100% better! We had such a positive moving experience with West Coast Moving and Storage, our movers also helped us pack and they did an awesome job! Daniel, Sergei, and Adrian, were so helpful and took wonderful care of our belongings. Michelle got us a last minute move thanks to a cancelation, and even long after the move when we couldn't find something Michelle was so kind and reassuring when I spoke to her. And later when I found that missing item (turns out I was the one who packed it and just forgot where) she was as happy as I was about it! I highly recommend the company as a whole! They all were so friendly and professional.

West Coast Moving and Storage really saved the day. I had never used “movers” before, and will ALWAYS use them (West Coast Moving and Storage!!!) in the future. Jeremy and Manny were so considerate, professional and responsive to our little stresses. They worked extremely hard, and packed our storage units to the brim. Then in October, 2020, we had West Coast Moving move us into our new home! Again, we had Jeremy and Manny (my favorite “Jeremy” and “Manny the Mover” in the world.) We also had the help of Miguel, Kevin and Angel for one of the two days. This crew was absolutely wonderful. They all worked quickly and very, very hard to make our move as easy on us as possible. I highly recommend West Coast Moving and Storage.

Had a BIG machine coming in from overseas. Arranged to have delivery to West Coast and they then delivered and unpacked it at my business. Jeromy, Manny, Ryan, and Kevin did an excellent job! We had a little glitch as the first crate they unloaded turned out to be incorrect. No worries. They loaded it back up, coordinated with UPS Freight to find and pick up the right one, and came back. Got it uncrated, moved in to place, and basic setup done. The rest of figuring out the details is on me. Thank you SOOO much. I've used this company for moving my home a couple of times and this was the first experience with a big piece of commercial equipment and I am so glad I called them! Highly recommend. :)

Once again, I was very impressed with West Coast's quality of service. Michelle gave me a call the day before delivery to remind me of the time and to let me know that the guys had loaded the truck early to be ready to go the next day. The team showed up early and got on the road, bringing our stuff from Portland to the coast. Once they arrived, Angel navigated our driveway hill and got the large truck in a great position to begin unloading. Him, along with Raymundo and Turner were quick and efficient in unloading our items safely into the rooms we designated. Everything was kept very safe and all returned to us in great condition! If you are in need of movers, this is the company for you!

My wife and I had a baby grand piano moved from the Seattle area to our home in Oregon City, and my wife was very impressed with Taylor's courteous customer service as she set up all of the arrangements. Stephen and George were the two gentlemen who delivered the piano and we were extremely happy with their service! I use the term "gentlemen" to describe them because they were both polite, respectful, and very pleasant to work with. They arrived within the estimated timeframe and exercised great care with moving the piano into our home and setting it up, making sure we were completely satisfied with every detail before leaving. My wife and I would highly recommend this company!

Our experience working with West Coast Moving was fantastic! Michelle at their office was super easy to work with on bidding the job and very responsive any time we had questions up to, during, and even after the move. We had West Coast pack and move cities for us. They did such a great job that not one thing broke during the move! The packers, Angel (he was GREAT as the team lead) and Roger, were very good, and the two of them plus Garcia did a great job the next day moving us. They were friendly, efficient, and very easy to work with, especially considering how long the day was. If we ever happen to move back to Portland, we'll definitely be using West Coast Moving again!

Stressed with a move so we called West Coast Moving and Storage. I had to move a storage unit and an apartment to my new house (2 stories with a switchback). Angel and Garcia was amazing. At times I had to tell Garcia he can slow down because he was working so fast. They were a well oiled machine and had some tough task moving some furniture upstairs. Angel was the lead and called me in advance to keep me updated on their ETA for the move. Furniture looks great, no knocks on walls, everything you can ask for. Honestly, great job. Now as far as price, it was a little steep. I paid nearly $600 for 3.75 hours. This did not include the tip that both movers deserved.

Wow. Never worked with a moving company to move such a short distance (Portland Pearl to Beaverton) and I’ll never hesitate to use these guys if i need to again. Team leader Samuel and crew of Kevin and Angel were remarkable in so many ways. Efficient, constantly moving, asking all the right questions and so polite and friendly. Had a very heavy sofa bed for the second floor that couldn’t fit up the stairs so they solved that problem. Handles everything with such care and made sure everything was in the right place before they left. Thanks, guys, for turning a nightmare into a fun experience.

We have moved across the country many times in the past with very large, national moving companies. This was a local move within Camas, WA and we just needed some help moving large furniture for one day to a new address and into storage. Jacob and Garcia were absolutely world class. They did in 8 hours what would have taken my wife and I a month to do amd would have likely landed us in the hospital. The price was extremely competitive and the professionalism shown by both Jacob and Garcia was excellent. Thank West Coast Moving - strong recommendation and we will use you again.

The West Coast Moving guys moved my 7 foot Steinway piano up 25 stairs through a small and very difficult entry. Steven, Jeremy and the guys were amazing! They had a can do attitude, and when I spoke to them the first time they said if it can be done I had hired the right guys for the job. They were right! It took 4 guys and they made it happen! They were professional, courteous and did an outstanding job on every level! When it comes time to move again I will be calling West Coast Piano Moving! Worst, most stressful move of my life. The majority of my items were damaged and at times the movers had me moving my own items. Was also charged much more than the estimate. Movers weren’t prepared for the job and I offered to reschedule but they told me not to worry. I wish I trusted my instincts, cancelled and booked another company. I also wish I had seen at least one negative review because I assumed from all the positive reviews this bad of an experience wasn’t possible. Get your own insurance and document everything do you plan to work with this company.

Shout out to Stephen and George! They were on time, did a quick and efficient job of moving my piano, and they were friendly and professional throughout the process. I had called Michelle's Piano in Portland initially and they would not move the piano due to stairs at the address the piano was going to. They referred me to Big Al's. Big Al's quoted me $710 dollars to move my upright piano three miles. West Coast completed the job for $280. I scheduled the move on line. I am very happy with West Coast, highly recommend them. It pays to shop around.

We couldn't be more satisfied with West Coast Moving and Storage. George and Stephen moved a piano to our house and removed our old one. They were extremely friendly, professional, and accommodating. The precarious nature of moving the new piano in didn't phase them. They maneuvered down a set of steep cement stairs and through a tight corridor. They were extremely careful, yet efficient. I highly recommend West Coast Moving, and if you're fortunate enough, you'll have the pleasure of doing business with George and Stephen. Definitely 5 stars!

I am so glad we called to have these folks move my childhood piano! Taylor (in the office) is so friendly and was so helpful in coordinating the two moves that I had to do in the last year and a half. The gentlemen who show up to move the piano are also super friendly. I'm not really sure why so many people complain about damage to their piano - they took excellent care of my piano! They were careful to note the chips/scratches that were already there to begin with. I highly recommend this company! The price was right and the team is awesome!

Needed to move my grandmothers piano, that’s been in the family for close to 100 years, to my sons house and used West Coast movers. Needless to say, I was concerned, but I didn’t need to be! Everything went so smoothly from start to finish! They were considerate, friendly on time, and very professional! If you ever need a piano mover, or a mover in general, don’t hesitate to call them! We bought a baby grand piano from our next door neighbor, and we hired West Coast Movers to move it for us. The price was, I felt, very fair. We were still in the process of laying the flooring in the room when Jeromy and Nick showed up on right on time, and they were patient and good natured while I scrambled to finish the tiles and get the area rug in place. They even helped me with the rug placement. Thanks, guys! 10/10 would recommend them.

This was by far the easiest move I’ve ever been a part of. Daniel, Royer, and Anthony are a solid team, real pros. They were fast and careful at the same time, wrapping and padding anything that needed it. The team at West Coast Moving helped me a ton with my move from Portland up to Seattle. They worked with my tight time frame and fit me into a busy schedule for a long distance move. The flat rate was pricey but more competitive than other movers I talked with. Above all, Jacob and Roberto were very friendly and EFFICIENT! I needed to have my garage workshop moved and the average home mover cannot move the kinds of machines I've got. West Coast sent a great 3 man crew who knocked out the work quickly and effectively. Really huge thanks to Casey for the coordination and the team Keenan, Royer and the lead Daniel for their hard work! A strong crew with the right equipment and expertise makes all the difference!

Got a next day move from when I called in and they sent out two great movers, Angel and Sergei(sp?). They were fantastic, they took care when moving my stuff, asked a lot of questions and got everything I needed moved in one go. They were awesome on putting things where I asked and set up both beds and my living room how I wanted it. If I ever move again I'll be going with these guys again.

The crew from West Coast Moving and Storage,Jeromy, Anthony, Manny, and Kameron did a fantastic job moving a canine underwater treadmill to our Hillsboro facility. They were punctual, courteous, careful, personable, and good problem solvers. They took great care of the equipment and were reasonably priced. We will definitely call on them the next time we need some equipment moved.

Stephen and Matt did such a wonderful job loading and securing both our parlour grand piano and upright, we asked if they could come finishing packing our POD the next day. Fortunately, Matt was available to help us out and brought Sam along, too. Couldn't have done it without them. Great crew! Hired this company back for the final, cross-country move in June, 2021.

Isaiah and Chad for West Coast Moving & Storage were fantastic in picking up our piano for an across country move. They were professional, timely, polite, friendly and strong! They called 30 minutes ahead of time and arrived on time. They moved our piano down stairs and across a rough, tilted path of pavers and gravel without a hitch. Great job from start to finish!

Our moving company couldn't get our upright piano up the stairs of our split level. They told us special motorized equipment would be required. We called the local piano store, which sent us to West Coast Moving and Storage. Stephen and Isaiah got the piano up the stairs using a sled, some wheels, and some straps. It was fantastic to see, and they did a great job.

I loved working with Taylor Gearheart, she was always quick to respond and answer my questions regarding moving our piano. Movers Jeromy and Isaiah were incredible! They were careful with our piano and patient with my request to place it in a particular place in our home. Our whole experience was excellent and we highly recommend West Coast Moving and Storage.

Matt, Ryan, Jacob, Angel and Sergei arrived on time and ready to get to work. Imagine having to drop six 100-year-old church pews down 17 feet from a balcony. The pieces were very heavy, but they did a great job of getting them down to the ground floor and positioned right where I needed them. I will definitely be using them again. Thanks guys!

Jeromy, Matt, and Sam at West Coast Moving and Storage are amazing!! They moved all of our furniture with care and experience. Treating our furniture (not all of it in great shape) as if it were expensive. It took three hours longer to move than we planned. But they kept working hard. Thank you guys!! We've used them twice now to move my mother's household, which includes some delicate antiques and a grand piano. They've done excellent work each time, with absolutely no damage to anything. The teams have been very professional and courteous, and prices are quite reasonable.
