I was in the shop December 2021. I am now writing this review, because my car has been back in the shop 3x since I was here. This has effected me mentally, physically, and my mother financially. I called before I went in, and than scheduled my appointment. They were very nice, and I told them specifically what was wrong with my car. My car was overheating and brakes were not working, and explained that the lights that were all coming on. They did give me a car to drive which was helpful since they had my car for 2 days. When my car was done, and to my knowledge was fixed, and after my mom paid about $2300.00, within a week the lights came back on, and they so happened to call the next day I explained what was going on, they said bring it back in. Next day battery was dead, they tried to jump it, which was dead. Basically I was left to get a tow, and had it towed to another shop, and they took care of the new battery. I had spoken to someone, and they did not seem to care. Than, a few weeks later, my car was back in another shop, to be told that my struts, and shocks were horrible and should of been told, by the previous shop which was Westchase. Now it's back in the shop again for another suspension issue, that we were aware of, but decided to replace it, plus the fact that they broke the left windshield washer sprayer, and my lid to hold up front hood. My point is, that if they would of told me about these issues I would of gone ahead, and fixed it, and how the hell could they have missed all of this stuff. You put my life, and the life of others at risk, this should and could of been avoided. You should be sued for this, absolutely unacceptable, and unprofessional.

There is a reason the reviews for this place are so high. Integrity goes a long way when it comes to getting your car taken care of. I was overwhelmed by the integrity and kindness of the folks at Westchase Auto Repair Center. After a sketchy experience at another shop, I brought my car to Westchase Auto Repair early this morning to get a second opinion. I had already overpaid on the brakes job I'd had at the other shop, but I was concerned that my car was unsafe to drive. When the guys took a look at my car, their consensus was that the brakes just needed some time to break in. I (ashamedly) didn't catch the name of the gentleman who helped me in the front office, but he really took the time to explain everything. It speaks loads that he wanted me to understand the situation rather than just telling me everything was fine. Also, maybe it's just my imagination due to the heightened confidence I have after getting an expert opinion, but the car seems to be driving better than before. I'll never be able to prove that the condition of the car improved after the staff at Westchase Auto Repair examined it, but I suspect that that may be the case. Whatever happened, I know that these folks do good business. They care about building a relationship of trust, and based on today's experience, I'd say they conduct themselves in a manner worthy of trust. That's hard to find nowadays! I'm not hoping for more car trouble any time soon, but you can bet that when the time comes, I will feel confident bringing my car to this establishment.

(This happened recently at the shop @ 10611 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77042 . They recommended I change the alternator because 'a bearing is failing' - their words . That is the 1200 dollar quotation for something that was not needed.) I recommend you read my other reviews to see I do give fair ratings to places that deserve it. I read the reviews and took my car here because the reviews were good. I've been working on my car myself so I knew a lot of things that were good and things that were not good. I took it here and paid for an inspection of the suspension parts ($50). They called and recommended I change parts that were just changed and when I said that I just changed it the guy said that they probably did not put the new part in, which was ludicrous because I stood and watched it myself. That's when I realized these guys were not going to be honest. They recommended $1200 repairs of non-critical items with a total quote of over $5000 for a $3500 car. I face palmed so hard because I thought I'd found an honest place but I'm quickly realizing that no such place exists in Houston. Your best bet would be to pay for that expensive inspection at the dealership. At least they're as honest as you can get OR get yourself a trustworthy mechanic. Maybe restrict it to just basic inspection, oil changes or tire work at these places. Nothing more.

This is an amazing place for car services. I followed Google high rating reviews and came here. I came with a noisy, bouncy problems and left with a smooth ride after replacing a rear strut set and performing alignment. They also helped me fix some previous work that was done by someone else just weeks ago. Everything was so precise and I also have a 3 year warranty on the parts. Getting parts was my concern as I didn’t want wait that long but they got them fast. I just want to shout out to the amazing boss Chad for being so nice, welcoming and helpful. And then my man Francisco for doing a great work and answering bunch of my questions and concern. He took his time test driving with me before and after the work is done. I don’t get everyone else’s names, but all of them are nice, friendly, professional and helpful as business should be. I left with great satisfaction and would recommend anyone I know to this place. I'm super excited to write this review to tell everyone how awesome these guys are. Unfortunately, I had some minor damage from a collision and Westchase Auto Repair Center took my car in right away and repaired it. (Faster than I anticipated) My first interaction was with Chad over a phone call because I was anxious about bringing my car to any repair shop and he reassured me that they would be able to take a look at it and determine whether they could repair it or not. After dropping my car off to be repaired I was less anxious as I spoke to Brian the shops manager and he reassured me as well that they will do their best. And when I tell you, they did just that. My car repairs were completed in less than 4 business days and the work they did looked as if I had not gotten into an accident! (That's what your looking for right?) Overall my experience from start to finish was great. I highly recommend these gentlemen as they are professional, efficient and knowledgeable.

I went in to get my spark plugs replaced for maintenance purposes since I hit 100,000+ miles. I spoke with Brian on the phone before coming in and he was very kind and informative. When I went in I worked with Chad and he also displayed the same courteous behavior. All the staff were friendly and informative. They informed me of other possible issues with my car but did not try to up charge me for them or pressure me into getting it fixed right then and there although they seemed trustworthy enough to take serious heed to their advice. They completed the work faster than they mentioned and even cleaned one of my sensors for free!!!! The positive reviews for this place are definitely not a fluke! I will certainly be returning back here in the future.

12 28/22 I took my 2017 Prius in at 9 am for a State Inspection and was told they were very busy and could I leave the car for 2 hours. I said, No, so i was asked if I could come back at 3 pm. I said, "I called yesterday and was told to come in this morning between 8 and 11". The gentleman said he now remembered and that he would honor his word and do the inspection himself immediately. He finished in 10 or 15 minutes while I visited with another person waiting who has a 2007 car with over 200,000 miles that has needed a lot of maintenance and Westchase has always been honest in their work for him. I said I would write a good recommendation so I am keeping my word.

Chad, the owner and John, the office manager, will greet you warmly. They are genuine and treat their customers as people. I was homeless living in a hotel but I had to get my breaks replaced. Chad didn't think twice and worked out a plan for me. I was so thankful! Their head mechanic was professional and very efficient. I have 100% confidence in his work. John keeps you informed of the status of your car. My favorite part is the lobby. You can enjoy reading the walls that are filled with words to live by. I have taken my car to this shop for the last 5 years, and I have always had a good experience with Chad and his team. I’m very grateful for all they do to help me with my car repairs. They are very knowledgeable, and I always feel that I can trust them. I recently had an issue with the cooling system, and they quickly detected it and fixed it. For some reason, I thought I had the same problem again (weeks after they repaired it), and brought the car back to the shop. But I was wrong, the car was fine and they double-checked the entire system again at no additional cost. They care about customers’ peace of mind. Give them a try, you won’t regret it.

Edit September 2023 Unfortunately the service has really gone downhill since about December 2022. I can no longer trust the mechanics to do what is necessary to fix the problem. I had to go back several times for repairs to be worked on again. Apart from that, I was made to feel that my concerns were not valid. I had previously given them five stars but in my opinion, they no longer deserve that. ————— Chad was incredibly professional and informative. He made me feel that he really wanted to help me figure out what was wrong with my car, and let me know what the more pressing repairs were. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Been taking all of my vehicles here throughout the years and have always gotten prompt and professional service. The manager is auch a sweetheart. I came in this morning for an oil change, state inspection and air filter change. I got the oil change and inspection but he respected my time and told me the air filter wouldn't be there until 9am so he gave the the option of coming back after 9 or another day. When I came back after 9am not only did the mechanic work on my car immediately, the manager told me the service was free! Much appreciated I will continue to trust my ride with Westchase Auto Repair.

My first time here as my car overheated near there. Chad was very clear and upfront about the process of finding out what was wrong with the car and after a while his manager Brian came out and did his absolute best to answer my highly technical questions about my car’s problem. Having answered my questions to my satisfaction I gave him the go ahead to do the repairs. I even accompanied Chad‘s dad on the run to AutoZone to get the hoses that my car needed. The car was fixed in no time, at the price quoted, and Brian threw in an oil change for free. Such good service, I came out of there feeling really good!

I originally went to this auto repair a few months ago to get a diagnostic because it was so close to where I lived. Since then, I have taken my car to this location a few more times. Their customer service is second to none. Chad and Brian are very honest about your car's condition and they will not charge you a penny extra for hidden repairs. They will run everything by you before they proceed. I live about a half hour away from the shop now, but I will not hesitate to make the drive again, should I need to. Very friendly check in. Got a pretty good price for breaks, axle and power steering issues. They gave me a ride home (I don’t live far) and I thought that was super cool. The work was done fast and quality of work was awesome. I only knocked a star off because they were aware that the tire pressure light was on and didn’t put air in them. West-chase Auto Repair Shop hands down is the best shop in Houston. Not only are they efficient, extremely attentive, really good mechanics but their customer service is like no other. I highly recommend them. They're extremely close to my residence so the convenience factor puts them over the top for me. I own an older Toyota 4runner that's clearly had issues before I bought it used so they've been there for every crisis. I've usually dealt with Chad, a friendly, straight talker who gives honest quotes and actually answers questions. They're not cheap, but they also don't do cheap work, and have handled every job to where I've never had to come back for the same issue.

Westchase Auto Repair Center always does an amazing job on my car. I was having an issue with it recently and took it right in to the shop. They were able to identify the issue, let me know how long the job would take, provided a loaner car and kept me updated on the status of the job through text. They went above and beyond by checking in with me to make sure that my car is running as good as new. I’ve been to Westchase Auto several times and will be back in the future.

I came here for my annual vehicle inspection yesterday and was very pleased at the timeliness and professionalism at Westchase Auto Repair. The owner was friendly and respectful of my time. I was in and out in 20 minutes! My technician, Brian, was equally friendly and knowledgeable. I overheard him greeting other customers who came in while I was awaiting and he was super nice to them. This is a great shop full of kind people and I'll definitely return!

These guys are my go to place for auto repairs. Super professional, genuine, straight forward, and honest. Every time I've visited them, I never felt like I was being scammed or overcharged. They're primarily the reason why I haven't had to submit to these crazy car prices over the past couple of years. Chad and his team did another great job for me. They diagnosed and fixed several issues, while keeping me informed in every step of the process with my old Caddy, and fast too. He even saved me money suggesting a universal part which made no difference to my vehicle's performance. This was my second time taking my vehicle to Chad, and they did great work for me at a fair price and fast.

First time coming in, they didn't have the tire I needed, they stopped by a different shop to pick one up and did the work for me same day.
