Wholly moly! Unbelievable how unprofessional this business is! Way too long to get the job done... Normally this wouldn't matter if only communicated properly. Poor receptionists are great and have to put up with the frustration of the customers while they need to ask the management for answers after breaking their own time frame over 4 times in a week and the management are to gutless to call the customer to explain, they really couldn't organise a fire in a match factory. I didn't write a review for the abysmal repair made to my car last time and the poorly communicated issues then but obviously nothing has changed and this is the straw that broke the camel's back. The employees I'm sure work hard and are only doing what they are instructed to do so this is purely aimed at the management!!! Problems always stem from the top. After waiting 2 hours for a call on what time I could finally pick up my car I rang and was told it's ready, I Picked up my car, no one bothered to come and take me through it nobody appoligised for my inconvenience due to their own incompetence just felt like here you go, get out of here, just no customer service at all. This will be the last time I ever come back, When I was told by the insurer to take it here I wasn't thrilled but thought I would give you a second chance, well you failed. If you want to blame anyone for these reviews you need only look into a mirror. Next time I will be asking for an alternative. A business whom does not care about is customers doesn't deserve any. Unfortunately you haven't figured out that customer service and experience doesn't cost anything to your business. If you want to be treated like a customer do not go here!

Was referred from my insurance company, was sceptical after reading some of the reviews. I’m completely surprised with the negative reviews I read. From the moment I had contact with them, they were polite, prompt, accomodating and extremely pleasant. It made for a lovely change as I have found customer service doesn’t seem to be of importance in business of late. My car was repaired promptly and I’m hoping professionally, all the while I was kept updated of the progress via text message. I was given a loaner vehicle which just made things that but easier as I didn’t need to chase it up through my insurance company . I must say that I was truly impressed with the professionalism of the reception staff at all times. I felt very comfortable and trusting in this company and would recommend them to repair your vehicle.

The team at Westwood Automotive are impeccable. From communication to the quality of service, I was impressed throughout my entire time with them. Front staff gave consistent updates and notified me of their progress with my repairs. It did take a while for the repairs to be done but I can't fault them, as repairs commenced just prior to the Christmas/holiday period. Having received my car, it was in great condition. The repairs team had even cleaned the car, from wiping and vacuuming the interiors to even making sure the exterior was spotless. Thought it would have been a nightmare dealing with insurance and the repairs company but Westwood Automotive took care of it all. Can't praise them enough for their quality work. Would highly recommend them and their services.

I can’t believe these guys are certified repairers! Initial work - only panel, reassured no internal problems. Picked up after 4 weeks(!) Car over heated within 20 km from workshop Also could feel vibration in the under carriage at speed- this was ignored Replaces my battery - But didn’t replace it with the right battery that supports the cars electronics Vibration was due to a bent wheel axel and loose ball bearings rendering the car not roadworthy Also found out now that they removed hose connecting wiper fluid container to controls and duct taped the 2 ends to cap them off. You would be better served trying to fix your car yourself than to go through the pain and hassle of shoddy workmanship. Extremely unhappy.

Through insurance i had booked my car for slight damage repairs on the front bumper, in which i was told it would take a week to complete. After that week had elapsed i had to chase up the situation as communication was very poor and only at this point i was told there were parts delays. Another 4 days later and I’ve received my car back and the repair was done fairly well, however my car now smells like mold as someone has accessed the boot and not closed it properly (no idea why you’d need to get in the boot when damages were on the front bar). Receptionists were lovely however overall experience was poor and negligent

Over a month to replace a rear bumper, wasnt ready at the time they said. Had to wait nearly an hour in the office. Waiting area was dirty, tv didnt work. Several staff walked past before even asking if we needed help. Attempted to return the vehicle with misaligned rear bumper, we told them we wont accept it like this. Upon returning a 2nd time the bumper is still misaligned and hanging out noticeably by about an inch from the passenger side. They told us they will glue it back together in a bid to solve the problem. Luckily the insurance is paying!

Well I was referred to thus company by my insurance comkany after an accident. They are thoroughly professional people. Even in the Covid lockdown they did it in time and most importantly I was updated at every single work done to my car. There custoner service is exceptional and Kudos to Natalie for her very courteous and prompt phone manners. Work dibe was amazing. They even cleaned the car inside out. My car was brand new again. Well done team Westwood to take care of my Red Hyundai Elantra in July 2020. Thanks

I would highly recommend this business based on my recent experience in dealing with the team. They're honest, professional, great after-repair customer service. I followed up with them twice after the initial major repair for some minor and cosmetic issues - unlike some repair centres, their can-do attribute and warm service really impressed me. Had the front bumber replaced through them as was told through insurance. Got the car back 1 week later and the fit and finish was shocking. Was told a new bumber was fitted but had chips and marks on it, still can see sanding marks, the bumber does not line up at all and it went through final inspection like that? Never go there again or recommend anyone else to go there. Workmanship rubbish

Have nothing but good things to say about Lynne and the crew at Westwood Automotive who went that extra mile to get my car fixed and back to me in time to get me on the ship to Tassie to see my family whom I hadn’t seen for so long (Covid grrr). ‘Lost’ my car. When I said that towie had delivered, receptionist didn’t even worry. Wouldn’t look, just said that the towies always say they delivered, which they had. If I hadn’t gone in, who knows when they would find car. Wouldn’t recommend, no apology when car was ‘found’ out the back.

Not having a very good experience with westwood. My repairs are still ongoing , it's been like a month, & just needed a new door & mirror. They repair something but then wreck something else, and they just glued my broken sidemirror. We'll see....... hasn't ended yet

Poor quality paint and finish, items missing, final inspection not done properly yet was told car was finished and ready! Do yourself a favour and RUN dont WALK and if your insurance company sends your car to them REFUSE to agree to use them.

Took my car in for repairs to a door. Had to wait over 2 months for repairs to commence. After all that wait the repairs did eventually start and the door was "fixed" in about 8 days. But now the door won't open or close properly.

I do not know what the fuss is about bad service and negative reviews with these guys Crystal clear communication regarding timelines, really good execution of repairs and my car runs better than before. Kudos to the team!!!

Awesome service, our Peugeot car was fixed perfectly after an accident. So satisfied we just gave our car there for a service. If you are not satisfied with anything, just be nice and they will be nice back and fix it.

This place is very good. Brought my car in through insurance, they were extremely quick and communicated efficiently and frequently. They fixed my car well and my car was clean when i got it back.

Wouldn't even put a multimeter on my cigarette lighter to check if it's putting out 12v. Receptionist told me "sorry our mechanic is on holiday, meanwhile about 4 boys working in the shop.

Stay away from Westwood, they are full of s@&?. Took over a month to fix front bumper. Ask your insurance for any other but Westwood Automotive for fixing your car.
