Pretty nice park with an ok sized dog park with separate areas for older and or disabled dogs. Lots of sports rec for basketball and soccer or just working out. There's a a sizable homeless population most days, but they tend to keep to themselves. I'd be more worried about tripping on one of the many gopher holes.

There is an increase in homeless population hanging around the veterans park area. There are tents lined up along the north side but otherwise it is a very nice park for a walk in the park. Parking can be found along veteran avenue pretty easily.

I just love this park, their space age restrooms, its an experience you have to try to capture. Great place for camping, swimming or just observing great ⚽ soccer games. I didn't take any pictures, more for relaxation with husband. …

I've driven passed this park 1000 times, and who knew such a nice park was tucked away in this heavily metropolitan area. There's a beautiful artificial turf soccer field, tennis courts, asphalt basketball courts, and a few resistance based

Dogs are lovely for the most part. A couple of years ago, the campers kept the park nice and clean for the most part. However, since the nice couple that was in the far Corner in the back have left the whole park is gone to Hell the people

Westwoof Dog Park on Veteran Avenue has been my fave dog park since their opening back in January 2018. Overall most dog owners pay attention to their 4-legged kids, however there have been a few owners who been bringing large (~ 100#'s)

I went there to practice soccer since they have two pretty excellent soccer fields with synthetic grass and one of them has a fence around it. The only drawback to the soccer field is that I've seen that when dog owners walk their dogs,

Pretty extensive park with 4 basketball courts, a soccer field, a couple of tennis courts, and plenty of grass along with BBQ areas and picnic tables. Lots of options for any kind of exercise and I noticed they keep upgrading the place.

Who knew the dog park here would be a great place to meet fellow pet parents. Epic soccer fields and fun eye candy, if you can deal with the scattered and sometimes loud homeless individuals, it should be a fun family time.

Nice place for physical exercises, play soccer, basketball and other field games. Best to visit either early morning at 7am or in the evening at 6pm. You can sometimes find me playing soccer there at the times mentioned

The dog park is honestly not qell.kept and usually fairly dirty. I've def heard people complain of their dogs getting sick. We visit occasionally because its nearby but tend not to let him drink from the fountain, etc.

This park is totally trashed by the over populated homeless people plus meth heads and bike thiefs. You can smell strong odd smell even across the street. Do not bring you children to this park. Not safe, not clean.

  • Josh Moffett

Lots of homeless but instead of looking at them with distain put yourself in their shoes, remember to practice empathy it says alot about yourself. Other than that tennis courts and typical park stuff.

Nice park...upgraded soccer and sports facilities. It feels a little sketchy at dusk with a lot of homeless and vagabonds hanging about in the shadows. Not a lot of parking on the east side of park.

  • Mike Wilson

Its beautiful, and green! Also its a very clean park. Great playground, also has a small homeless grouping. But they don't bother anyone. Its also fun to watch the squirrels play

Lots of camps throughout the park these days, but it’s still a nice place to hang and relax. Tennis and basketball courts, jungle gym and play structure for the kids nearby.

  • Nicole Gil

Unfortunately, this park has become largely uninviting. While the fenced in dog park is still nice, an overwhelming number of homeless have taken refuge here.

Beautiful park. Courts to play tennis, basket, and soccer (futbol). Parking is free. Big playground for kids, but under renovation now!!! Nice for dogs...

Went to the dog park with our puppy. Great location love that it has a separate park for big and small dogs great for every dog type and over very happy!

  • Annette Flores

I and my dog enjoyed it. My dog actually aged with another dog which was nice to see. Unfortunely it was hot not alot of shade for the dogs to play.

This park had a very... "Westwood" feel to it, which I like. Different sections for activities/vibes, and pull up/parallel bars which is a big +

  • TIAN XIA

Big park divided into several sections, basketball and tennis courts, dog park, soccer pitch, children playground, and homeless camp ground.

  • Ray Chang

Nice park with tennis courts, two soccer fields, a dog park, a playground, outdoor basketball, and community center with indoor basketball.

  • Sal Olivares

Beautiful little park but there’s lots of homeless people spread about . It was hard to find a spot to picnic. …
