Loved walking first through to see the butterflies and then the beautiful gardens! Every time I walk the gardens I notice something new! Definitely great to visit when the fountains are on and a great place for kids to visit. Love the gardens!! Make sure to be gentle with the butterflies, too.
This is a really nice indoor and outdoor garden. We went after we went to the zoo and it was a nice way to wind down. The butterfly garden is really cool. The outdoor area is really awesome. It feels like an old fashioned British outdoor garden. You get in free with zoo tickets I think.
Absolutely beautiful! Little piece of heaven right here in the city. My baby adored the butterflies. Even though I took dozens of pictures they don't do justice! this is one of those things you have to go see for yourself to really enjoy the beauty of it.
Pretty small, but admission is included with Zoo admision so it's more than worth it to walk around for 30-45 minutes to take in the sights. The butterfly exhibit was pretty cool to see as well! Most of the outdoor flowers were either not
If you are going to the Zoo then a must stop is White River Gardens. At very least the outside portion that is free to explore. There is awesome gardens, sculptures, and exhibits to explore. It is much less busy than the zoo beside it.
What a neat spot for the family with a little magic fun for everyone. There's a spread out playground that fearless kids will absolutely love as they slide, dive, climb, and sing as they swing amidst the meticulous, sprawling
This is such a beautiful place! I think if you wanted to get some nice family portraits taken, this would be a really nice setting for that. Everything was very clean and well manicured. I wish we had more time to spend here.
The kids loved getting to see the butterflies! While in the garden we got to see a lot of natural wild life. It's a nice break from the zoo and a fun place for the kids to be kids. Tons of great photo spots too
enjoyed a saturday afternoon w a few friend.... only observations is that ir closed early during summer @7pm while thrre was over 2 hours of sunlight left....didn't get to walk through the garden's
Absolutely gorgeous gardens to spend some time in. Give yourself a good two hours to walk around the grounds and make a top at the beer garden for a drink while you peruse the gardens!
Beautiful Gardens attached right in the zoo! We really enjoyed ourselves. Zoo admission covered the entrance so it didn't cost anything! The butterfly cocoons were really cool to see!
I love this place, especially in the winter. It's so nice to just walk around warm plants in a quiet, peaceful place. The bonsai trees are a perfect addition at this time, also
Been to the zoo so many times, and never saw the gardens until recently. Omg, so beautiful. Will definitely go back. Very tranquil. The Lego exhibit along the walk is so cool.
I enjoyed the indoor garden. The outside garden did not look in a great shape. Maybe because it was around Christmas time and some of the plants were dead/in a bad shape!
A wonderful visit! The flowers are starting to bloom beautifully, and the butterflies are a sight to see! I can't wait until they have the water features up and running.
Such a lovely beautiful place at the zoo. They hold events for weddings and various other things. A MUST SEE when visiting the zoo. My daughter and I love coming here.
Beautiful garden! Well worth a quick stop after visiting the zoo. It's quiet, peaceful, and the crowds didn't seem to follow us over. Great spot for a quiet break.
Ive been going here since it opened. I love White River Gardens. The butterflies are beautiful. The gardens have matured wonderfully over the years.
I didn't go in the actual gardens or zoo. Just wandered around in the green spaces along the river. Very pleasant. Not enough shade for a hot day.
Beautiful for a stroll on a warm day. The butterfly conservatory was the highlight of the day. Admission is included with the zoo.
So amazing to see all the butterflies, and the plants are beautiful. Highly recommend this for all ages. Disability friendly.
