I should tell you that I am 77 and beginning to struggle with a deterioration that happens when you’re a senior. Five months ago one of my teeth busted and had to be taken out so I’m walking around with a missing tooth trying to decide if I want to get a denture or an implant. Then two weeks ago another tooth right next to it broke off, so now I have two teeth missing. With some hesitation I’m looking on the web to get a good deal on implants with someone who has a lot of experience at it. I’m a little apprehensive at this point. I had seen ads for Whittier Dental, and decided to check them out. They seem to have lots of experience for many years. So I arranged for a consultation. When I got there I met Dr. Mosie, the founder of Whittier Dental. He’s a great guy who immediately put me at ease and explained everything. I was so impressed with him that I decided to go ahead. I must tell you the experience was so pleasant and easy. The doctor that did my implants was very professional, and obviously very experienced. The whole operation was painless and quick. Now I’m not apprehensive at all. I am sold on Whittier Dental and you will be too. Sure, you can go to Beverly Hills and spend $4000 on an implant, go ahead if that makes you feel good. But I can tell you from my own experience at Whittier Dental you’ll pay less than half of that and their dental dental surgeons are just as good if not better. They certainly have more experience. they’ve done thousands of implants at Whittier Dental and really know what they’re doing.

Today I had a appointment at Whittier dental group staff was super friendly but when I talked to do the dentist I told her about my situation I'm here to get a dental implant.. So you starts talking to about me getting a bridge and I brought up the conversation at least 3 or 4 times about a dental implant and she kept bringing up the bridge so I gave up and listened to what she had to say mind you that from the beginning I started the conversation that I dont have dental insurance I'm paying cash so in other words I have money but not alot I priced dental implants here where I live in riverside they go from 1200 to 2000 I priced them in orange county they run for 600 to 1000 dollars Whittier dental group advertises them for 399 so was I trying to save money with the holidays around the corner yes . To make this long story short I said ok to the bridge i asked how much they said 3000 dollars so i said no the dentist really should listen to the customer and while i was waiting in the background i overheard another dentist trying to sell a bridge to another customer that's when i felt like she was trying to hustle me I left immediately took a day off from work wasted have a tank of gas and most important my time but made another appointment at a dentist in Huntington beach there gonna do it for 700 dollars flate at beach side dental group check them out I'll give them 2 stars because there staff was friendly no 1 star cause the dentist was a horrible used car saleswoman......

If you are disabled, avoid this place like the plague. Honestly, everyone should. I am autistic with OCD & severe anxiety. I desperately need a wisdom tooth extraction, under sedation as I’ve already been fixating and having horrible nightmares and intrusive thoughts of the teeth extractions. This nightmare place kept trying to schedule me AWAKE with no sedation. When we fought for it, the insurance approved it within a week but they took almost two to actually do anything. Cut to removal day, we called because it was suspicious that they didn’t say not to eat. The girl says full belly and I knew something was up. You need an empty tummy for anesthesia. Come to find out they were just going to do the surgery because they don’t actually have an anesthesiologist at the practice and they were not going to inform us of this and took our insurance for the sedation and it seems like they were perfectly content to charge my insurance for visitation but they don’t actually offer and never actually explained this to us in the two weeks waiting and never said that to Denti-Cal itself. It’s shady, and it’s really disrespectful to mentally ill People. Take us seriously. Just because I’m disabled doesn’t mean you can manipulate me to do what you want.

These guys are wonderful. I travel from Hawthorne to Whittier so they can do my work. It's a long drive but I believe they are worth it. My doctor is a little Asian woman, speaks English better than I and I'm born and raised in this country. I love her bedside manner. I hate going to the dentist where the doctor tells you what he or she is going to do, whether you want that right then or not, or even can afford it. I've got nothing but good to say about these guys. The parking is terrible, however. The only drawback, is this office is busy. Very busy. Therefore, you could be there 2 or 3 hours to complete a job that shouldn't have taken more than an hour. Because the doctor has to go between patients. While my mouth is numbing up, the dr is off to help another patient. Well, she can't stop just because my mouth is now numb. No! She has to finish whatever she's doing with the other patient. So, it makes for a very long stay whenever I go. They have a TV in each cubical/room for the patient's convenience. I always take my cell to play games. Overall, I love the work they do. Everyone is so very friendly and courteous. If you're in the area, or not, you can't go wrong with these guys.

If I could give zero I would.. this place is absolutely incompetent... On my first visit I asked them to file down the molars that they were working on because it happens that they tend to rub on my tongue and give me a wound. They couldn't do it ,on my second visit I asked him on three separate occasions on that visit alone" please sand down the molars you're working on because they rub on my tongue" they couldn't do it... So if you don't mind walking around with a tear on your tongue that turns into infection because they're incompetent then go ahead walk right up come to this place get infected.. they're all about the money the shysters they don't mind tricking you theyre all about the money.. they have too few dentist working musical chairs jumping from room to room I can't give good service to anyone patient because they got too many people there trying to jam down their throat... This is the place you need to stay away from if you want good service terrible service here below-par dentist and the and the money lady Will fleece you... I wish I could give a zero I would... Stay away from here at the staff is incompetent

In the past month I've been receiving some of the best care this dentistry has to offer. They've been caring, efficient and honest in their work both in and out of the chair. I can honestly say that the services offered here may be some of the best I've received thus far. As for the dental work itself, it's solid work and the process is very well explained to you. I've neglected to ask the name of the doctor who I see regularly, but she's vocal about what she's doing, always asking if you're comfortable and makes little notes to let you know anything else about your dental hygiene. Confidently I can say that Whittier Dental Group is an excellent dentistry, and the best here in Boyle Heights. Keep up the good work!

The receptionists at the front are very rude, no sense of customer service. It feels that you are at an auto parts instead of at a dentist office. I had an appointment an they didn't bring me in until 45 min later. What's the point of making an appointment. This is a primary Latino community thereby, nobody complains to social channels. They should improve their services all around, I don't recommend this office period. You are welcome to go if don't mind to be ignore and not to get treated as patient. All they care is about profiting, their form as new patient they ask for your spouse social security. They asked financial questions before you go in, they should evaluate you first and then ask those questions.

Completely disrespectful of people’s times. You won’t even be seen til an hour plus after your appointment time. I asked multiple times if my insurance would be taken for braces and was never given an answer after the first time the dentist said they would check. And then I had to call back and ask if they checked and was told I had to make a consult for braces appointment. I then waited an hour and half for the front desk lady to come tell me the price of the braces and I had to ask again if my insurance covered it and after all of that she immediately knew my insurance wouldn’t. Not sure why I wasn’t told the FIRST time I asked that my insurance wouldn’t cover it. What a waste of time.

I can only say awesome things about this place. Lupe, Tiff, Carlos, Jenn and Dr. David to name a few :) they are great people always making you feel like family not just another customer, very professional and always answering questions when you have one, I have been a customer for a while now and I'm bringing my whole family here, if any body asks for a referral they are the only ones on my mind. From clean ups to fillings and implants , (not too proud to admit it but I have been through all) painless, always on my schedule and they always get the job done right, no painful comebacks. What else can I say, looking for a dentist?, look no more.

At first i was scared to go to the dentist due to Covid-19 and also because i had bad experiences going to the dentist in the past. But due to an emergency i had to go. I honestly want to thank to the staff that made me feel safe and welcomed am very thankful to be a patient at that clinic. It been a pleasure to see all the good work and attention that the staff gives you. You guys are amazing keep up the good work. I have been a loyal patient for about 19 years now and every time I go into the office it is an amazing experience. The whole staff is very welcoming and they know what they are doing. It does not matter what dentist you see they are all great. They are professionals and are very caring. I always recommend friends and family without any hesitation. My sister, husband and I got our braces with the orthodontist Dr. Shawn at the office as well and he is just the best. He pays attention to you and I personally enjoyed that he is such a perfectionist. If you are looking for a dentist office trust me you are going to be in great hands.

I feel very grateful for having found this office! I’ve had three appointments already at Whittier Dental Group, and I know I’m in good hands. I needed some major work done fast, and it was a bit tricky finding an office that could handle my needs during Covid-19...this included an extraction and a very visible crown that has broken off! Luckily Jen and Tiffany got me right in, and Dr. Lee, Mindy, and Cerisa took care of my broken crown and extraction. Dr. David and Luz then handled my fillings and even filled a loose root canal that a previous dentist had left only partially filled. Thank you guys very much!!!

I came here through out my youth. I thought they were great back then but a couple years ago I went for a consult and they said i needed a bunch of work done and were charging me for things that my insurance covered. I went to another dentist and only paid 200 out of pocket which is 80% less than what they were charging me for a root canal treatment and a porcelain tooth. Now I hear they're doing the same thing with other patients and that's really messed up. I highly suggest you look elsewhere unless you want to pay for things that your insurance covers. p.s. the receptionists are terrible...

I just finished with my visit and there customer service is great. Throughout the visit the staff have been very nice and helpful my doctor was Dr.Vaide she was great in explaining what she going to do today. My family and I only came in for a our 6 month check up. My brother says that he likes the doctor because she was very funny and nice and so does my mom (we all had the same doctors).when it came to cleaning my teeth I had the most nice doctors helping me and my family she was nice and explained each step as she was doing it. All the doctors names, haide Jenn, tiff, lupe, and Dr.vaide

I went in for a cleaning this past week. Covid protocols were in place including an unexpected double rinse with hydrogen peroxide. My hygienist did a thorough job of cleaning and scaling my teeth. She was pleasant and informative and guided me to focus my brushing a bit more in certain areas.This was followed with a polishing by another staff member, who finished it with an antibiotic rinse. I actually look forward to my dental appts because of the quality of their work and the courtesy and time afforded to their patients. I highly recommend this dental office.

How can a business office manager not know the law. The client has a legal right to request a breakdown of all services rendered. Heidi continues to refuse to give my mother a breakdown of what they did and how much it cost. She was very quick to have her get a care credit account for a specific amount without checking if her insurance covered for any procedures first. But now she is "too busy" to print records that should easily be available when requested. I will be reporting this office. I wonder how many other elderly people they have taken advantage of.

Not sure what kind of customer service they run at this place, but who would have the audacity to schedule you for a 9am appointment when they don't open the doors for patients until 10am. Do they think people are on free time basis, and have time to waste. People have jobs this is not right. Plus I had a not so good experience with my little boy, they took my money before performing the service, this is shady. I ended up not wanting to proceed with this office and was quite an ordeal to get my money refunded as if they were avoiding it.

I was hesitant to have any non-emergency work done during the COVID-19 pandemic, but decided to fix my chipped tooth, while I still had the time. Everyone was friendly as always, but most importantly the staff made me feel safe by the precautions they were taking. The entire staff was wearing a mask, which immediately put me at ease. In addition, I had my temperature checked and asked to sanitize my hands before entering the work area. Lastly, Dr. Sean did an incredible job fixing my cracked tooth so I'm able to smile confidently again!

You guys!!!!! I had an appointment on Monday becaue I was having so much pain. *Mind you I have not gone to the dentist in years) I also had problems with my insurance and 2 of the girls in the front desk helped me and I am so appreciative of them because I was so close on resceduling my appointment. I had my root canal done and the dentist that seen me was amazing- also the nice lady that helped him with my procedure. I wish I could have gotten all you names. Thank you, so much for all your help. Promise next time...no tears lol :)

customer service is horrible (yes Whittier dental in front of YMCA) rude receptionist, i am not the type to review things but this really got me going they charge for cleanings absurd i have never been charged and prices are way tooo high. the dentist are really nice and the girls inside but receptionist have to gooo both girls are really bad at their job I just changed my kids to another dentist because they were lazy to call and do the transfer yet at Altamed they gladly did it on first visit dont waste your time here people

I am so grateful to have found Whittier Dental Group. The staff is incredibly helpful, transparent, and welcoming. I am even more grateful for Dr. Nathan who hands down is the best dentist I have ever been to in my life. He is so patient, gentle, and kind. Despite my worries, he made sure to take care of every issue I had with the upmost professionalism and care. A special shout out to Brenda and Carlos who took such amazing care of me from Day 1! I wish I could give this team more than 5 stars!

Came to Wittier Dental Group for the first time. They had me fill out paperwork and brought me back. The staff here at Whittier Dental are amazing and truly care about their patients. Carlos, Haide and Dr. Laaly made sure I was taken care of. They explained everything to me during the x-rays, cleaning and exam. Everything was done in a timely manner and didn't have to wait long. Really happy to have found Whittier Dental and am happy to have them and Dr. Laaly as my new dentist!

I'm so happy with this place. The dentists were friendly professional and it was very clean. The consultation was very thorough and it was free. What I liked most of all was that they took my insurance into consideration and advised me on several options telling me the cost for each. I predicted I would be paying $3000 for one tooth, instead I'm getting 3 done for much less than that and less time. They also gave the option to pay the full amount in several installments!

Worst experience ever! I had an Appointment at 9, end up seeing the doctor at 12:00 and that's because I had to asked them, I've been waiting in the room. It was a less than 10 minutes just to let me know I need to pay cash, they really push you to pay out of pocket or apply for credit, when they don't even try to get authorization for insurance/or medical they just assume they wont pay. They are completely shady. If I could give a minus 10 I would.

The staff at the dentist is very good and friendly they made me feel comfortable has I got nervous the staff clam me down always ask if I was good the Doctor I had was very wonderful and made me feel very wonderful his name is doctor David. The staff Luz Lupe those 2 are the best made me feel very comfortable Mindy Carlos Jen Haide Tiff The staff there very good I recommend this dentis very highly and I recommend Dr David he the best

I've been coming to this clinic for many years . i like the professional Drs. Specialy Dr Paik and Dr Laaly but the only reason why i dont give 5 stars is because was way better when Brenda was taking care of the patients. She was very friendly and polite, the girl who took her place doesn't even know what is she doing, i have no idea how Dr David could hire her. He made a big mistake, she is not the right person for that position.

I'm here to report yet again another great visit to Whittier Dental Group! I had to finish up a crown and it fit perfectly and now my smile is back to normal! The process was quick, and all the staff I interacted with were very professional: Jenn, Luis, and Tiff. Haide and Dr. Lee spent some extra time going over my options for future work, and Haide helped me with some home care recommendations! I'm totally coming back here!

I have been coming to this dental office since last year and I have had a great experience with both dentists and dental assistant. The assistants are very kind and answered all my questions. Don't come to this place! They have horrible staff who will not be direct about the procedures and their costs. You will go in for one procedure and once there, they will bs you and tell you that they forgot to mention about additional procedures and that they will need you to pay extra on the spot. And to not sound overdramatic , their own staff is aware that this is wrong. And play along with the whole scam.

I’ve been coming here ever since I had teeth and I absolutely love it !!! The staff treat me like family and are always here to help. Some people that I would really like to thank are Haide, Denn, Tiff, and Carlitos cause no matter what their customer service always comes first!!! I am VERY afraid of the dentist but Dr. Lee & Mindy took such great care of me. Jenn, Tiff and Haide were also very sweet and caring with me. This was by far the best dentist visit I’ve ever had - lol and I had to get a root canal. They numb you really well if you feel ANY pain and are super patient and understanding. They were also really great with payment issues. 5 stars!

I must admit we waited quiet a bit but it was worth every second because the doctor and her assistants were stellar. The manager, Heidi, beyond professional. She went out of her way to help my daughter get out of pain. We left the clinic happier than any place we ever been. Impossible to beat these folks. They're bilingual, helpful and best of all they're human.

This is unacceptable, I’ve been waiting two hours!!!!!!! what are appointments for? Not only that, but parking is very limited inside the plaza, I had to park on the street. I’m on the chair waiting for the doctor, but now I can’t stop thinking I can possibly get a ticket since it’s a one hour limit. Hayde (manager) need a to better organize her team ASAP.

Jen was polite and super helpful when I checked in made the process super easy. Dr.David was direct and extremely informative regarding my teeth explained the options I had. Lupe was the most sweetest person ever. Helped me relax while my anxiety was getting high reminding me to breath and everything would be okay. Tiff was super helpful going my insurance.

The staff is pleasant and so nice. Prices are awesome compared to other competitive dental offices that offer implants. They allow payments as u get the work done which takes a huge financial burden off you. I'm very happy with the finished product they also listen and take the time to explain and finally, they dont waste your time.

First visit went in for cleaning and exam, ended up having a rear tooth in need of repairing. They handled it quick and efficiently. Even though I was in pain the girls made me feel secure and taken care of. I think diane was one. Reassured me I would be taken care of, they were quite adorable aswell, would reccomend to family.

I've been coming to the dental office for over a year they have been nothing but helpful, informative, and Sweet. The whole staff is just awesome, I've had an implant and a couple crowns done over the year and I've had no problems nor have they left me with unanswered questions. The staff is very friendly and always make you feel welcomed! I'm so glad they open on Saturdays. I can't remember ever waiting long enough to complaint, to be honest. Their dental work really worked wonders for my son. So, I switched to Whittier Dental Group for myself, and can't wait to get some work done as well!

Out of all my 27 years I’ve never met such nice people like I have at Whittier dental Everyone from front seat to dental assistant my wonderful dentist Dr. Valde is so attentive and put me at ease during my whole procedure checking to make sure I was okay every few minutes or so and it was such a seamless process.

Everyone at this office is so nice and professional. I love all the doctors that have treated me. Dr. Rosa is the best of the best as is doctor Olga, Nourian and Moshe. I have and will continue recommending Whittier Dental Group to all my friends and family. I live far from this office but it is worth the drive.

Awsome service! They have friendly and quality staff here. The doctors and nurses are nice, patient, and gentle. My tooth stills bothering me they MAX OUT my insurance they can't do anything about it they just said if its still bothering you need to go to especially how! I have no more insurance i had to go back a bunch of time they couldn't get it right im never going back again. The staff is awesome period

Best excellent experience! :) Had 4 wisdoms teeth removed all staff was very nice friendly. My doctor was Frank, my nurse i forgot her name :( but the entire time they were talking me through what they were doing making me feel comfortable, i had local anesthetic felt absolute no pain!

Making a appointment was easy but the visit wasnt . There is no AC in the waiting room. My kids were frustrated & sweating . They requested forms that I feel they should have been requested prior to the visit so that I went prepared . It was just a hassle over all and very hot inside .

The front end Haide was very helpful and gave me the appointment on the spot. Jen and Tiff were my dentist’s assistant were very nice and really calmed my nerves down while waiting and even after. Even my dentist took his time to explain things to me. Highly recommend this place !

They tried to charge for free cleaning I get from insurance and didn't provide it. But charged my insurance provider for oral exam I didn't ask for and that I could get for free without insurance anywhere else. I just noticed most of 5 star reviews are written on the same day.

Dr Mosie consulted with my sister Carmen Kassouf, did x-rays, and gave an exceptional/extensive evaluation on her dental condition. He spent a good hour with her and referred her to an oral surgeon prior to getting an implant. Hats off to Dr Mosie... a true professional!

Great service!!! Everyone is kind and they treat you with respect, place is very clean, they take good care of you. Carlos and Ana always try to make you feel comfortable and explain everything to you in a way you can understand. Thank you guys keep up the good work!!!

Worst place ever. Each time I went a different dentist did work on me. All they care about is taking money from the insurance. Never broke down the expenses to me. What I’d pay out of pocket until I got the bill at my home address. Wouldn’t go here again. Staff is ok.

I needed to get a tooth pulled and an implant. I went in on Friday and found that WDG provided the service that I saw on the advertisement. Their staff was very friendly and professional. I go back this Friday to get the work done. I highly recommend this group.

This place is great. With great people in the front desk like Jenny, Tiff, and Luis who are always there to give your appointments also help me check out and check in. And help with any questions you may have, they are very friendly people and very professional.

I definitely recommend Whittier Dental Group. I am happy that I made the change to this location. The staff is welcoming, reassuring and honest. They are also very flexible with scheduling. You don't have to wait a month to see a doctor or to reschedule.

Bad service. hayde n diana are the worst i always have to do their job and call my insurance.good thing i finally told my insurances to change me.. but the doctor and other staff are good . It just them that make the dentist with bad customer service.

Staff are very polite! As soon as you walk in they have smiles on there faces and greet you. They make sure you understand what you need done. I've been looking for a dentist and I'm sure I will keep coming to Whittier Dental Group.

New to this location had 2 visits so far and already love it they are great the staff is friendly and the service is great as well im super sensitive when it comes down to my dental care so far they have been amazing.

great staff. mindy, lupe, and carlos helped me out. they were all super friendly, fun, and helpful. also they were playing great music in the background which surprisingly helped a lot.

Don’t come here if you can’t wait 3+hours. This is ridiculous. No type of communication. Even with an appointment they claim to be squeezing you in.

People were really nice in the front ,real fast about their work too. Lupe was really cool and she knows what shes doing so i like going here.
