It's a small metro station, mainly serving a number of large hotels and a residential area. The station is fairly close to the bridge to De Pijp, if you don't have access to a convenient direct metro or tram, you could consider stopping here and walking. The station itself is in good condition, having been fairly recently renovated. It is served by 3 metro lines, all of which go north to the central station, before diverging to the south to head either south, south east, or circling all the way round the edge of the city connecting to Sloterdijk station. There are lifts from the platform to street level. Onward connections are limited. The tram stop nearby is a short walk. The station itself is quite small. There are a few small kiosks and automated ticket machines.

Estació sense ascensor operatiu (per obres) i sense oferir alternativa a gent amb mobilitat reduïda o cotxets de nadons. El personal del taulell d'informació, molt poc disposat a fer la seva feina. Aquesta poca predisposició a informar al viatger, l'hem trobat en diversos punts de la xarxa de transport públic d'Amsterdam i rodalies.

Spent a year refurbishing the place causing delays to travel and it looks no different. Ticket machine is always broken and no staff on site to offer any advice or help.

Bankjes type lanceerinrichting en nare verblindende ledlampen in de vloer. Kaartautomaat zuid lIEt erg lang op zich wachten, toch een kilometer (buiten) omlopen.

Great location, exits were handy for the Student Hotel and supermarket. Always very clean and had a Metro representative there most of the time during the days.

Ignorant and rude. The rest of GVB around Amsterdam seems great. But this one driver at this station was completely without any customer service skills at all.

Easy to access. Affordable. Clean and safe surrounding. The metro is everywhere in the city, get the all day pass, you can literally get anywhere.
