We hosted a bachelorette weekend here and the owner was a tremendous help with the planning. We had several changes going back and forth and all were handled with extreme patience. Laura was able to book a cocktail making class for us, which was so much fun! We did have a mixup on parking. We had originally booked 3 spaces for two nights earlier in the week and the day before changed it to 1 car the day prior to our stay, Friday and was not charged for the other two cars. Very late Thursday night added another car to Friday and was assured that extra spot and that it was no problem. Upon checkin, that spot was being utilized and was told that some spots were rented out during the week and would have to wait until the car moved to use it, sometime after the work day ended. She said there were no other available parking spots and we would just have to wait for the other car to move to use it. Luckily, we were able to find free street parking but would not be back to the Inn until later that evening. No one was in condition to move the car to the assigned space and therefore unable to utilize it. Some spots are not available at checkin time, which didn't help us at all and which we were not informed of prior. We were still charged the $35 for that spot even though we brought it up at checkin that we were unable to use the spot. I was very concerned for the other guests, as this was a bachelorette weekend party and the walls and floors are thin. I am hoping we didn't disturb the other guests too much. I wouldn't recommend for large groups unless you plan on renting all the rooms at the Wicker Park Inn. Again, Laura was a huge help and worked with all our room changes, planning of our cocktail mixing class and giving us suggestions on where to go for different activities we had planned. The breakfast was amazing as well. The party had a great weekend. Just be careful about the parking situation if you need it. EDIT: I did email you to verify that the spot was not used after being charged for it when I saw that it was on my receipt when I got home. Your response was: "My apologies about that. We had designated three parking spaces for your group when the reservation was initially placed. We removed all but one. Then added a second parking spot for just Friday night. By the time we added the last parking space, we only had a Friday/Saturday night spots available. Glad you were able to find parking nearby. It’s difficult to find one that doesn’t require a permit and overnight parking is not allowed on Milwaukee Avenue during the weekend." We were not told at time of booking that it would only be available in the evening hours, I would not have booked it. The refund only came after my review and after the person being charged called once again about it. I really do appreciate your efforts, but I also appreciate honesty. I gave an honest review and an honest account of what transpired with regards to parking. When I first came and told you there was a car parked there you seemed confused and said you would look for another spot. I said I will come back in a couple hours and check back. When I came back to get the parking pass, you were in a meeting with someone and were very short with me and said, "well, that's all we have. Sometimes those spots are rented out Monday through Friday and you will have to wait till the work day is over." I told you we would not be able to park there because of that. We would be out and back to the Inn very late. No comment from you so I walked away.

The Inn is perfectly located for easy play time in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood. Just walk out the door. It is also beautifully decorated, bright and comfortable (we slept like babies). We also chose the place/room BECAUSE it is next to the train tracks, which is a feature we love. A cup of coffee on the patio and the El. Chicago! BUT...two stars. Here's why: The staff at check in were wonderful, friendly, helpful, as one might expect when checking into a $250+/night B&B. The staff the next morning however (Fri, July 19th) ..not so much. When I made the reservation, I was prompted to detail dietary preferences, which I was surprised by, but thought it was cool that they'd go extra step, since they already offered "breakfast included" in price, and it was touted as actual breakfast, not continental as on some other sites. Turns out the breakfast was a small quiche and berries and bagels, with no vegan options, except for berries. I went down to office to ask about this and the staff person just sort of blew me off. Saying "yeah we can't always accomodate" and told me me bagels probably weren't vegan, since they're from Costco. That's it. My party had planned to eat at the Inn, and enjoy the patio off our room, but needed to pack up early to have time for breakfast elsewhere before we had to leave Chicago. This aside, the thing that really bothers me is the attitude of the staff person and that my concerns weren't addressed very professionally. Don't ask about dietary preferences or tout an in house breakfast if you can't accommodate all of your guests. Also, the check out process was confusing. One couple came down to office when I was looking for staff as well, and said they really needed to leave, but weren't sure what to do with their keys. Rooms were wide open for cleaning and office wasn't locked, so as a guest it feels uncomfortable leaving room keys without checking out officially. AND, when I did speak to staff (same person from earlier) and dropped off keys, there was no "thanks for staying" or "how was your stay". They just seemed distracted and/or indifferent. Maybe upset because I asked about breakfast? Anyway, the place is cute, there's parking, and location is great, but the attitude put a damper on the experience. I rarely take vacations, so I'll spend my money elsewhere, next time, in hope of a better experience.

My partner and I stayed at Wicker Park Inn during our minimony wedding weekend. Our wedding planner had worked with Laura before and came highly recommended. Laura was fantastic and so sweet throughout the entire process. She made the reservation process so easy, even though we needed to book a couple of rooms and make requests during our stay there. The no contact checking in process went smoothly and we LOVED our room. We stayed in the Wolcott King and it was beautifully decorated and perfect for taking some of our wedding photos in! Laura allowed us to use the kitchen/dining room area for our rehearsal dinner with our friends and family who were also staying at the Inn. The day of the wedding, Laura reserved the dining room for our wedding party to enjoy breakfast together, which was incredibly delicious and filling! We enjoyed a variety of drinks, such as coffee, water, and mimosas (we added on a mimosa package for everyone that day). She also allowed us to use kitchen/dining room as our getting ready area when our makeup artist and hair stylist arrived. During our first look, Laura gave our wedding planner access to the backyard across the street. It was the perfect area to have our first look! The morning after our wedding, Laura had sweetly offered us the option of having another group breakfast in the kitchen. We opted to have breakfast in bed for us and our guests as planned. Breakfast was once again phenomenal and Laura had brought my partner and I more mimosas to enjoy! During our final day, Laura allowed us and two of our other guests to have a later checkout. Laura truly went above and beyond to make our stay so perfect and special! We are incredibly grateful for her kindness and for making our minimony wedding weekend one that we will never forget. We are planning on staying again next year! Do not hesitate to book a stay at Wicker Park Inn! Laura is truly the best!

We've stayed at a number of properties in Chicago and this is our favorite yet! (The Peninsula was quite nice in a very different way, but without the personal touch and neighborhood experience.) The whole place is beautifully designed with great attention to detail, and the room was very comfortable and quiet. Parking for a reasonable fee was convenient, and the location fantastic--a quiet and charming neighborhood just a very short walk to either Division or Milwaukee, so perfect for exploring local restaurants etc., and Wicker Park is our new favorite neighborhood in Chicago. Laura was very helpful before our visit on the phone and we only had a brief chat while checking out the kitchen, as everything is contactless and quite safe, but she certainly makes you feel at home. Laura had excellent advice for local restaurants and pointed us to several great options, and we ended up at an outstanding spot for dinner (The Perch) with safe outdoor seating that was still comfortable in January Chicago weather (admittedly not the coldest night!). It was the sort of neighborhood restaurant you don't usually find out about on the foodie sites but all around a great experience. In case we decided on takeout, which we did for breakfast, she set out dishes in the lovely kitchen/dining area which isn't being used much due to the pandemic, and we had the room to ourselves. An excellent value, and very highly recommended.

The Paulina room directly faces a train track that is within 15 feet of the window that passes by several times an hour. The noise is unbearable. When I asked to switch to a street facing room I was told that since I booked through hotel tonight I had to pay an additional $20 if I wanted a quieter room. The woman on the phone whom I assume is the owner told us to turn on the white noise machine on our alarm clock when I asked if they at least provided ear plugs. This woman on the phone was very rude and not willing to accommodate us without a fee. She told us that we shouldn’t expect an upgrade without paying for it. Very insulting, we have no problem paying $20 but the fact that we were treated so poorly and given the worst room in the hotel because we booked through Hotel Tonight was outrageous. Our bathroom sink was also clogged, we didn’t learn that until after one of us brushed our teeth and the water would not go down leaving the other to brush their teeth over the shower drain so as not to flood the bathroom. When we called again for help with this, no one answered our calls. To top it off, our room had a giant fly in the room buzzing around when we walked it, possibly from the train tracks or the fact that it is right next to their kitchen and food prep area—disgusting. BEWARE. Don’t book this hotel unless you want to feel like you are sleeping on subway or train tracks

I’m giving two stars instead of one because the employees were very kind and the place was beautiful. However, the owner is not kind like her employees and I’m seeing that in another review she does not handle uncomfortable situations well. My friend and I stayed here and my friend accidentally broke a glass table, mind you up against a brick wall. People are clumsy and people make mistakes. My friend went next morning and fessed up to breaking the table and the owner, Laura, threw a fit. She was freaking out about replacing the table because the following guests were getting married or whatever. She wrote up her own document saying we’d comply to pay some made up incidental fee considering she had no official documents or policy to follow up with in neither my reservation nor the website. My friend was in tears, embarrassed and shook with the amount I had to pay. It wasn’t until we signed and agreed to this number she pulled out of thin air that she then asked if we were okay. Absolutely no consideration to our safety. It could have been a hazard. And so much for freaking out over the table because she didn’t even replace it the same day. I would not recommend this place because god forbid you upset the owner.

We were totally charmed by this B & B just a few minutes' walk from the Davenport Piano Bar, where we had tickets to see a friend's recital. The Inn was impeccably clean, modern, and was beautifully appointed, with thoughtful attention to details. WIFI was steady and strong. Plenty of restaurant choices are within walking distance nearby. Wicker Park Inn arranged parking for us (extra charge) in a convenient lot, with in and out privileges, about a block away. There was a very handy guidebook in our room with useful information and detailed travel directions to major attractions. Great for sight-seeing! The check-in person was gracious and helpful, and we were surprised that our comfy room also included a continental breakfast in the communal kitchen - not stale pastries, but fresh coffeecakes, overnight oatmeal, yogurt, fresh juice, and fresh pot of coffee. (There may have been fresh fruit - I don't remember.) Granted, the "L" does zoom by right next to the building (it was fun to watch from the kitchen window), but our room was on the street side, and the "L" did not disrupt us in the night in the slightest. We are looking for another excuse to stay there again.

This past summer / fall I had to travel to Chicago for work and had the opportunity to stay at the Wicker Park Inn for a total of 7 WEEKS on and off (July-Sept 2022). This was not 7 weeks in a row, but rather sporadic throughout the last few months. This place was perfect every single time I came! From communication prior to check-in to the excellent customer service any time I needed something - the team was always there to help. I very much appreciated the comfy beds and bedding (I even emailed to ask what brand it was so I could buy it myself). The rooms are so clean and well decorated. The pastries and coffee in the morning were always so yummy and fresh! I would have a cup of coffee in the cute communal kitchen area or the patio out front. It was comfortable and a nice relaxing area to start the day. It's also in a great location in Wicker Park. I was able to walk to so many restaurants, bars, and even the nearby gym (all less than a 5 minute walk). I absolutely LOVE the neighborhood! I would 100% recommend this place to anyone coming to Chicago. Thank you to the Wicker Park Inn team - I will definitely stay here again any time I'm in town!

We booked the full inn and 2 apartments across the street for the weekend of our wedding on 11/1-11/3/19. It was PERFECT! It was so convenient to have family/wedding party all in one place and it was the perfect place for the wedding party to get ready. Guys got ready on the first floor, girls on the second in the large kitchen/dining area. Laura, the owner, was super kind and responsive to questions as we were planning the weekend. She first had me and my husband tour the Inn and then my parents toured later - she was so kind and welcoming. The breakfast the Inn made both mornings was so good, and they were also able to accommodate dietary restrictions (vegan, gluten free). They let us host a small dinner on Friday night in the dining area with people who weren’t staying at the Inn- we ordered take out and they set up larger tables for the whole weekend. Staff were really kind and accommodating. When our photographer arrived they re-cleaned my room so the photographer could take pictures of me getting ready. This was an incredible space for a big group/wedding weekend, highly recommend!

We bought out the Wicker Park Inn for our wedding in early August and it was the best decision we made. The Inn proved to be the absolute perfect place for us to host our guests all weekend long. The charm of the rooms made our guests feel at home, the cleanliness of the facilities put everyone at ease and the effortless coordinate of the staff made this experience better than we could have expected. The Innkeeper, Laura, was a gracious host working with us every step of the way to ensure that all of the details of our buyout weekend was as perfect as it could be. With the buyout came breakfast provided and it was more than enough food (not to mention homecooked and absolutely delicious)!! Picture don’t do it justice and this review doesn’t fully articulate just how spectacular the WPI really is. If you are considering a wedding in the Wicker Park area, you will NOT go wrong with a full buyout.

Laura and the team at Wicker Park Inn have been incredibly lovely people to work with for our micro-wedding this fall! Leading up the wedding, Laura answered all of my questions in a timely and professional manner and I greatly appreciated her patience as we figured out logistics and any last-minute changes. This was the perfect place for our venue-- the location in Wicker Park was near many cool restaurants and bars while being nestled in a quiet residential area. It was convenient for our family to stay at the Inn while renting the kitchen space for the ceremony, and the rooms themselves were very clean, modern, and stylish. Whether it's for a stylish staycation or a magical micro-wedding, I highly recommend this venue!

I cannot speak more highly of our experience at the Wicker Park Inn. We decided to do a stay-cation (Covid tests & bubble) for my birthday and we rented out the entire space. The rooms are amazing and we had a chef (masked and all) come in for a pasta-making class as well as a massage therapist for individual (masked) massages. The kitchen is perfect for these safe, small gatherings and the attention to detail in each room made the stay feel luxurious. We played games, drank copious amounts of wine, laughed, cooked and recharged in our own city. We also walked around Wicker Park and infused some $$ into some local, small businesses. It was a perfect weekend and I recommend any type of stay - the rooms are unbelievably comfortable and gorgeous.

I wonder if your experience depends on the room you stay in? The Damen room itself was okay, but it shares a wall with the kitchen where everyone goes for breakfast, so there's a lot of noise when other guests are in there talking, doing dishes, etc. The window is also right next to the train tracks so light sleepers beware. The breakfast was okay, bagels every day we stayed there and overnight oats, with some baked items that ran out each morning unless I went early. Note basically everything is no contact so if you're someone who likes being checked in and able to talk to a front desk, that doesn't exist here. In general the location was great, but I think the price was a bit high for the room and amenities.

This place is absolutely adorable. It feels so quaint while still being modern and meeting all your needs. The room was decorated just fabulously and felt so cozy. In addition to the great room itself, the staff are so incredibly friendly. The front desk person I spoke with and the owner were both so happy to help with everything and so very kind. In addition they have a really cute kitchen with food for breakfast and also for snacking throughout the day if you need it. It's also in a great part of town with everything you could need within walking distance. Overall a wonderful experience and if I ever need a hotel in Chicago again I will be staying at the Wicker Park Inn again.

Chose this Inn when in town for a conference because of its close proximity to the conference location. Only a 20 min walk in a very nice neighborhood!! However, due to maintenance issues, I was upgraded to the Chicago room for 1 night at no charge. They also included breakfast for the inconvenience. When I exchanged the keys for the blue line room, they explained that they would be in to install a new bed during the day. I returned around 5pm and the bed had not been brought by the delivery company. They ended up arriving around 7:30, while I was at dinner. This inn is located very close to the train tracks, so if you are a soft sleeper, I would not recommend. There are a lot of restaurants very close to the inn, so I never needed to drive after parking the day of check in!

Bravo, Wicker Park Inn! My daughter and I stayed for two nights while apartment hunting in Wicker Park. The Inn checks every box there is: perfect location for walking the neighborhood and all businesses especially on Division Street. Easy to roll luggage to the Inn from the Damon Blue Line stop. Quiet, safe. Gorgeous room!! Loved the coffee and continental breakfast, and that kitchen access was clutch -- so helpful to be able to store leftovers in the fridge for use later. Thanks for letting us store our luggage both before and after checkin, AND for letting my daughter do a last-minute Zoom job interview from the kitchen. Y'all were tremendous, and we thank you. Can't wait to come back!

Excellent location. Near by shops, restaurants and bars. This is the place to be for entreatment. The hotel was very clean and quiet. It is very charming. The hotel room was clean and with a lot of character. The SkyView was a nice touch. Breakfast in the morning get you going for the day. The kitchen is very spacious. Cooking classes are offered, can’t wait to come back and try the cooking classes in this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful upon arrival and check out. Definitely, no the average hotel but it is totally worthy. The access by public transportation is very convenían. Just take the train from O’Hare to Damen and walk about 7 minutes to the hotel. Totally recommend this place and I would definitely come back for a longer stay.

This stay was so nice! It was very comfy and homey. I had never been there before and called when we were close asking for parking directions and where to enter. The gal on the phone was very helpful and nice. The workers and atmosphere put us at complete ease. The breakfast was enjoyable and they had a very cute kitchen/eating area. I stayed in the Ellen suite that warned about the noise from the train. They provided a noise machine and items to help, but I didn’t think the train was disturbing at all. The sound from the train coming by was muffled and I found it kind of soothing, but that could just be me. I wouldn’t worry about it at all. I loved the area and walking distance to things. Will definitely recommend and stay again!

Great accommodation in a cool Chicago neighbourhood. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. The rooms facing the street were quiet and we had no issues with noise disrupting our sleep. We stayed during the winter, but we were never cold in the room and the heated floors in the bathroom were great. There is a kitchen with coffee, tea, bread, bagels, pastries, etc available in the morning. Location is unbeatable, with loads of cool restaurants, cafes, and bars nearby. Would definitely recommend Wicker Park Inn to anyone visiting Chicago. It's only a few rooms, so think it would be a cool option for groups to book out the whole place as well.

The location is fantastic. There are restaurants everywhere in the area, there are Blue Line stations a couple of blocks away, and there's free parking nearby. An Uber downtown only costs around $11 on a Saturday night. The staff are very pleasant. As for the actual rooms, there's nothing notable about them. I was a bit disappointed by the breakfast, however. The place advertises itself as a bed and breakfast, so I expected a cooked meal and full spread for breakfast. What you get is a below-average continental breakfast: fruit, toast, bagels, pastries, cereal, and tiny round quiches that were more finger food than breakfast entree. For $150 / night, I had expected more than that.

I have been coming to Chicago for work a ton this year and tried weekly stays at different hotels from ORD to Wicker Park to the South Loop. This was by far my favorite lodging and location. It was the first time I referred to a place as "going home". It has my choice of restaurants (and other things to get into) nearby and was a 10 minute (much needed) walk to the train in the morning. I never tried the gym but if I make it back, I will. In my room, I heard noise from the train but it was no worse than anywhere else I stayed (with cars, planes and trains nearby) and actually felt like white noise. I loved Wicker Park Inn and hope to stay again soon.

  • Rachel Check

The Wicker Park Inn was a perfect place for a weekend stay. Mid-pandemic, the inn was clean, everyone wore masks and I felt very much a part of community trying to stay safe and healthy. Outside of that, it's a lovely BnB with super comfy beds, lovely bathrooms, an owner who is really and truly invested in her customers having the best time they can, and all in the heart of one of the coolest neighborhoods in Chicago. If you're looking for a place to stay in Chicago that will allow you to get a feel of the city while also treating yourself...seriously look no further.

My room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. I paid for a parking spot in the garage, which was nice and reasonably priced for overnight parking;, although getting to the garage by car and from my room were minorly inconvenient. I arrived in the evening, in the dark, and the inn was a little difficult to find. A photo of the front of the inn would be helpful online and/or in the email confirmation, for a simple frame of reference of what to look for. The breakfast room is beautifully decorated and the breakfast served looked very good (I didn't have time to enjoy it). Overall, it was a very lovely stay and I would recommend!

At the time of booking it says deposit due is zero, have screenshotted this and attempted to email a picture of this website glitch to the staff. Owner laura refuses to even let us get a sentence out and is forcing us to dispute this with through the bank. She wouldn't even provide a contact email for us to try and send her a picture of her poorly setup website. Thanks for really stressing me out Laura, I will pass this info along to the local healer that refers his patients to you to make sure you don't put any of his patients through this again! This was an interesting experience. I pulled up to this small building and couldn't find parking for a while. I picked my key out of a lockbox hanging on a fence and let myself into the small house that held our room. Going up the stairs we saw a large kitchen stocked with breakfast staples and a variety of teas and coffee. Somewhat interested somewhat nervous we entered into our room just off of the kitchen and were happy to see a nicely laid out bedroom with all the things you need. The bed was comfortable and the small breakfast was all we needed to continue our road trip. Good job, just would like easier parking.

I have stayed here on two separate occasions. Most rooms are updated and well appointed; there may be one room that has not gone through the renovation process yet. Everyone that works at the B&B is extremely accommodating and friendly. I felt very safe here. It is an excellent part of Wicker Park with access to just about everything you need within walking distance. Two things to note: they are updating a few things, and it is right beside the train. I considered the train to be white noise and loved it. They provide earplugs and a sound machine. My mother slept in one of the front rooms and didn’t hear it at all.

  • Linda Hau

The Inn was located in a quiet street but with train track right next to it. It didn't bother us after we got used to it. The room was clean, comfortable, very nice king size bed, and spacious bathroom. However, the lighting was too dark for our taste. The window cover ing had blackout curtain but no sheer for privacy during the day. We couldn't open the curtain since it was facing directly to the street. We wished that they had told us that there is no daily clean up due to Covid 19 beforehand. Other than that, we enjoyed our three day stay very much.

Absolutely incredible! My now husband and I had a small, intimate wedding at the inn and it was everything we wanted! Laura is a great host and super accommodating. The outdoor and indoor space are so beautiful and the rooms…wow. So clean and modern. Check inn is super easy, she brought our breakfast to our room and she had a beautiful breakfast set up the morning after our wedding for us to enjoy. The inn is located just outside of downtown so it is quiet and has the nicest people as neighbors! We will definitely be back!

This B&B was perfect for our intimate wedding! We rented out the entire house for our family to stay at for the weekend and they LOVED IT! The location is perfect (about 7 minute walk to Damen blue line stop) and within walking distance to all of the wicker park businesses/bars. Also, breakfast served each morning was great and they even prepared gluten free food for one of our guests. Laura (owner) is such a great owner and went above and beyond to make sure our wedding weekend went smoothly. Be sure to stay here if you’re looking for a Chicago neighborhood vibe!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Wicker Park Inn! Very convenient check in process and the entire inn is modern and clean. We loved the chic decor in our room and the bathroom was very spa like. We took advantage of the on-site parking - covered and secured in a 2-car garage. We were given a garage door opener so we could come and go as we pleased. Super easy and well worth it. It is a tight spot off of a narrow ally so a smaller sedan/SUV fits best. We also took advantage of the kitchen and refrigerator for leftovers. Highly recommend this conveniently located inn!

The Wicker Park Inn is a beautiful brick "2 Flat" style building transformed into a boutique hotel. The room was lovely with windows overlooking the quiet, tree lined residential street. The bed and linens were quite comfortable. Everything was perfectly clean. The L runs right behind the building and can be heard, but in the front of the building it just sounded like the hum of an air conditioner and I didn't notice it at all after the first day. Everything was perfect during my stay. I will definitely return.

Wow - I cannot say enough great things about the Wicker Park Inn. My room was beautiful - recently renovated with a walk-in shower, all new tile, and beautifully decorated. Thoughtful amenities as well. Breakfast in the new kitchen/common area was excellent as well. Perfect location for experiencing the neighborhood - restaurants, bars, coffee shops, all in walking distance. The "L" train stop is close by - making it easy to get downtown and to the airport as well. If you're into cocktails - don't miss The Violet Hour which is close by. Highly recommended!

Beautiful, clean Inn with a great location in the Wicker Park neighborhood. The bed was very comfortable and cozy with multiple pillows provided. The kitchen was gorgeous and our Sunday morning breakfast was delicious. Every staff member was friendly and informative. There's a wide variety of cafes, bars, and restaurants within walking distance of the Inn. The same goes for shopping. We enjoyed our Saturday evening shopping, dining, and out for drinks all throughout the neighborhood. I definitely recommend staying at the Wicker Park Inn!

Awesome location! I live in the neighborhood and this is where I send all 4 of my parents when they come to visit. It's just enough of the city life without being downtown and actually gives a taste of apartment living. It's close enough to public trans and cabs and all of the great dining on Milwaukee Ave that Mom and Dad won't have to walk far to meet up with you. For the price, much better than one of the giant hotels downtown or in River North. Book early though, as this place fills up in the summer and around the holidays!

  • Alicia Hutzler

Beautiful space, comfy bed, spacious room, friendly staff. This is a great alternative to a hotel or AirBnb and I would recommend it to anyone. I traveled for work and found the WiFi to be fast and reliable. The heated bathroom floor was an unexpected touch of luxury! Location is perfect - just off of Milwaukee and close to everything Wicker Park has to offer. Would stay here again!

The room was very nice, and the bed was comfortable. The staff person who I interacted with was also very friendly and helpful. I would give a better rating except that there was a very loud private event that went until 10:00 p.m. with guests treating the upstairs like it was a house party. I was told the event would end by 9:00p.m., but it went about an hour over that and was very loud the entire time.

This is really a great gem in the city. The owner is very involved in all aspects of the property and it shows. She's also continually making upgrades to address issues and challenges. She's very open about which rooms are good for light sleepers, and which aren't. The breakfast is very nice, and wifi is fast and reliable, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Will definitely continue to stay there. Also great neighbourhood access to amenities.

  • Tucker Stapleton

Great hotel, very cute, the innkeeper shared that they would be remodeling soon. It's a little close to the train, and depending on the room choice it can be a little loud with other guests. We stayed in the Wicker room and it was nice. The breakfast was good but a little lackluster with some fresh fruit, hot and cold cereal, and on Saturday they have a spinach quiche which wasn't really that good. I've got my eye on a bagel next time.

  • Ed Goldstein

We stayed at the Wicker Park Inn because it was only blocks from our son's apartment. We found it to be very nicely decorated, well kept and clean and everything about our room was for our comfort. The breakfast was well made each morning. Our room was in the back and so was close to the Blue Line train. Once we had been in the room a while it was barely noticeable, but someone super sensitive to sound might have had a problem.

  • Stephanie VanOss

I hate to leave a review bc I don’t want anyone to know about this hidden gem! So incredibly cute and charming. Everyone was so friendly and helpful which at times in Chicago can be hard to come by. Clean and very nice location. Breakfast was so lovely and delicious.

WOW! It is all we can sum it up with. This is perhaps one of the most unique, comfortable, convenient, safe places we have stayed. I was here for a 1 week medical conference and did not want to leave. Historic, fun, it had it all. We will be back. We also have family in the city area and visited the Inn. They have added it to their "have too" stay for friends and family when visiting this great Windy City!!!

  • Larry Paluch

Nice Place for a short stay! Shower head water pressure is poor, better count of 5 minutes to get soap out of your hair! Small front stairway to 2nd floor. Quiet except for passing trains on the L! lots of stuff in walking distance! good closet space and nice amenities in the room. the use of a level is needed as room decor was crooked to include the TV..

During the COVID-19 pandemic we needed to have some work done to our house and wasn’t able to go to our offices. The Wicker Park Inn gave us day-rates so we could work from home at their home. They were so hospitable and it was a lively experience. Will definitely be recommending the WP Inn!

My wife and I stayed here for a night while we were in town to attend a Cubs' game. We both appreciated the decor and the modern design. The staff were friendly. Parking could be a concern but there was a spot on the street when we arrived and the staff gave us an overnight parking sticker so there'd be no hassle. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this establishment.

I have stayed at Wicker Park Inn for two business trips now and I could not be happier with my experiences here! The rooms are amazing, the location is lovely and the hospitality is top notch! There is no where else that I would rather stay when I come to Chicago!

If you're looking for thee most adorable and home like bed and breakfast; this is it! Such a beatifully well kept secret in the blooming town of Wicker Park. I absolutely love the intricate detail that went into the decor. Gives off a Victorian theme and the reception cafe where breakfast is served makes you desire to cook in it! You won't be sorry you booked here!

  • David Turman

Great Space! Great Venue! Great Event! The management was extremely accommodating and the owner, Laura, even stopped by to make sure everything was Christmas perfect for our work holiday gathering. From booking the location, catering and the mixologist - we had a blast! Happy New Year & Thank You Wicker Park Inn!

Pros: Fantastic location, beautiful building, charming decor, and very convenient parking. Cons: Rowdy hotel guests the first night made noise until 4am. Our room also had no coffee maker, which was sorely needed due to covid restrictions and lack of any coffee in the common area.

Loved our stay! From the great location to the amazing staff. I love the curb appeal of the building! The entire interior has been remodeled and is very modern, while still maintaining some of its character. The room was spacious enough for the two of us and the bed was very comfortable! Next time I stay in Chicago I will look to book here first!

  • Rgerber

This place is beautiful, very clean, a great caring staff, very accommodating. The rooms are very spacious with nice bathrooms, and a large closet. The kitchen was huge and also very nice. Honestly Wicker Park Inn was way nicer than I expected. I'm so grateful I found it. The Wicker Park area was nice and felt very safe. I would stay here again!

cute room, comfy bed, great area in trendy arty chicago, very bnb style. wasn’t loud and the rooms were clean. they have breakfast options that you can eat in a sun filled common room or take back to your room- hard boiled eggs, handmade overnight oats in little jars, bagels coffee, tea, non-dairy milk options, oj, good stuff!

  • Andy Suarez

This place has amazing staff and an amazing kitchen you can rent out for events. Definitely worth staying there since it's close to transportation and restaurants/bars. The rooms were also amazing and would definitely go back. I highly recommend. They also do private dinners for guests staying there and other things.

  • Madeline Gibson

This is literally the only place I'll stay in Chicago! Seriously. Quaint, but high-end; classic, yet historic; peaceful, yet close to the action. Laura has a fantastic staff that are constantly available, and with a smile on their faces. It has become quite the home-away-from-home for my business trips.

  • Elizabeth Schlick

I just discovered the Wicker Park Inn and loved it. It's in a tucked away spot yet very close some main streets that will take you where you need to go. Very friendly staff, quiet building (the trains don't bother me at all), and my room was extremely comfortable. I will definitely stay there again.
