Stumbled across this brilliant bakery up an arcade off Toorak Rd. The freshest and best range ever. From fresh pies, neenish tarts, chocolate brownies, savoury rolls, scones, and so much more. All lovingly homemade. The very best chicken and vegetable pastie I have ever eaten...no chunks of hard carrot, loaded full of fresh chicken and fresh vegetables. The outline of the place is so good. I love how the customers can see how they are cutting up the bread & doing all the bakers stuff. The tray selection has all you can need. They have a great taste & the best sensation. They are very close to me which is great. The sausage rolls are FABULOUS!!! There is a woman who worked there who was really friendly with me

Watched the custard being poured into the tarts. That was delicious and the custard actually had flavour unlike most bakeries where I find they taste like unflavoured panna cotta. I also had a cinnamon donut which had a very slight crisp to the outer layer and then a soft pillowy inside. For a cheap local bakery it’s pretty freaking good.

I stumbled across this place while waiting for a tram. Got a pie and the vanilla slice. I loved the pepper and steak pie. Filling and pastry were great. The flaky pastry and biscuit for the vanilla slice was good, so was the top layer. The middle custard (?) portion didn’t have any taste though.

I don’t go here to support local businesses. I go here because they offer a superior product and service. Our family love the fresh hot bread, croissants and pies. It’s service with a smile and its fun having a chat with Les. Skip the supermarket and the fake bread and spend your dough here.

I have been getting sausage rolls from here for a while and they are tasty, however I have found the last few times, the pastry on sausage rolls has not been cooked properly and not crispy. I have had to put them in the oven when I got home to cook them properly.

Omg obsessed with their coffee scrolls here. Eat so much of it, I'm turning into one. Lol But it's worth it. Small bakery, easy access parking. Nice staff.
