i came to this pet store it has very unfriendly staff i was holding my shopping and the lady saw i was struggling to carry it but didn't offer to help just told me to go put my stuff down i went to the fish almost all of them were dead RIDICULOUS the worst part is that everywhere i went there was this lady there right behind me following me i felt so stalked that everywhere i looked there was someones eyes on me they pretended that they were just looking around and i went upstairs FIVE times to see if they will follow me up and every time i went upstairs they followed me the reason i am giving this pet store at least 2 stars is because they have a lot of stock and are very cheap if your reading this please try do better im not sure ill be coming her again!

The place has healthy fish and quality products along with extremely helpful employees. The prices are cheap and more than reasonable. They offer quality suet and bird products. I have bought guppies from them last year and they are happy and breading lots. The guppies even survived a night in winter outside with a power outages and no filter. My family has bought hamsters here which lived more than 4 years each. The fish are quarantined and disease free as my guppies have not shown any sign of illness. I have been in the fish hobby for about three years and this shop has helped me through my hobbies journey. And after all the fish shops I have visited so far this is the only one I trust to buy fish from.

This is honestly one of the best stores I have visited for pet fish. The staff are extremely honest and knowledgeable, you can definitely see that they care about the fish and their well being. As a newbie to the hobbie, I always receive great advice and never feel forced to take multiple products. All my livestock from this store have been healthy and happy. I thoroughly enjoy every visit to this store and the staff are always welcoming, even if I am just there to look around. The variety of stock is impressive and everything is so reasonably priced. Keep up the brilliant work.

This is a great shop, especially for Tropical Fish. Bryn the owner is really helpful and knowledgable and has helped me out numerous times with great advice. The fish they sell are top quality and at a very reasonable price. They will always give you the correct advice about what fish you should buy and any other things you may need regarding your fish tank setup. I would highly recommend going here first for all your tropical and marine fish needs, stay away from that larger aquarium shop in Boksburg and go see Wild on Pets.

You won't easily catch me here again. They are selling simese fighters to people with goldfish and putting them together in a little fish bowl. This will be a murder within 5 minutes and then the simese fighter will die soon after due to lack of filtration and temperature. I'm sorry, but if R45 means that much to them, then they certainly won't see my money again. The people there know exactly what they are doing and honestly don't care at all. All I got when I told them was a smile and a shrug!

Huge selection of fish from fresh water to sea water fish including living coral etc. Prices are a bit higher then other shops but the variety of fish you can choose from is mind blowing. Accessories and tank decorations are also a bit pricey when compared to shops close by but again they have a massive selection. My only concern is the one staff member I did ask for assistance from was more interested in his phone and was very abrupt with answers.

Would have given them a higher rating but very disappointing when u buy for more than R 15000, especially in these times and they are not even interested to give u a discount which all other places do. The lady at the tills with the short hair is un interested and unfriendly. No customer care manners or even a thank u for your purchase. The other staff is friendly and helpful but why should I spend my money there again.

Bought 3 goldfish when we got home we saw a parasite attached to one of the fish after we put them in the tank! Went back to the shop, they are not interested in remedying the situation, only selling us treatment at an additional cost! Not even sorry Quite honestly I have never found the owner or his wife to be even slightly friendly. They are in fact extremely sour unfriendly people. Won't be back

You don’t even deserve 1 star. Don’t buy marine fish from this store! I have bought multiple different fish and every single one has died. They are infested with Ich and Flukes, I put them through quarantine for month and treat them but they don’t make it. I’ve never had a problem with any other livestock from other shops. Staff isn’t helpful at all when you ask for advice or help on any matter

I have seen the managers wife is always bullying the staff almost every week and she doesn't let them go on lunch breaks. One of the workers terrorizes the hamster and the owners don't care. There are roaches running around the shop and doesn't seem hygienic at all. The owners and managers wife is very unfriendly and always has an attitude I wouldn't suggest going here. It's very unfriendly.

Amazing variety of fish both freshwater and saltwater. Friendly staff that know about the animals and the various other products available. Also the staff treat the fish well when transferring them into the bags you take them home in. Most other stores are fairly rough with them, which I'm sure causes the fish unnecessary trauma and shortens their life but here they are so gentle.

Good choice of fish and all equipment for acquarium. plants is another story.... just a few and not in good condition and this is almost always the case.... for therest of animals stuff more or else a good choice even for rabit and cats. but definitely more a place for acquarium than anything else. covid rules are ok

The aquarium fish are always healthy and in good condition. Unlike some other pet shops that usually have white spots etc after you take them home. Variety varies, they do not many exiting new species but they have the usual common fish. Purchased a bunch of white clouds for the pond outside which are doing well.

This is a REAL pet shop! They sell everything you need for ALL your pets....from sand to seeds, cages and tanks, toys and treats, food and grooming kits. They have a wide variety of fresh and saltwater fish. Friendly staff that always put effort into assisting you with whatever it is you need.

Superb selection of all pet requirements with a vast range of Tropical and Seawater fish avaliable! Prices are relatively comparable to competitors, being slightly on the higher end however. Staff are decently helpful, however the range and selection of fish is a must for any aquarium lover!

I went to buy a doggie jacket and the sales lady at the front was so rude and unfriendly , you would think in this economy we are in people would want your business . Fortunately there are lots of pet shops around that I would rather support . Thank you for the none service lady !!

A great little shop, competitive prices, and a great place to get fresh water and marine livestock, and a large marine section, the staff are very knowledgeable and they stock a large variety of medications, foods and livestock, a all round great shop truly a hidden gem

Have been going to Wild on Pets for years, it's a great shop. A bit expensive but what isn't? I have recently decided to have a koi pond & the staff knowledge has been fantastic! He knows his stuff & hasn't steered me wrong. Staff are always friendly & helpful

Brilliant service, I highly reccomend them as a regylar pet shop to visit. Their pricing is decent and they do have a wide variety of pet products and pets to choose from. They also give great advice regarding animals if they are able to.

I have been frequenting this shop for over 10 years. Well priced equipment and fish. Knowledgeable staff that are helpful. They will not sell you stuff that you shouldn't have because they care about their livestock. Also keep good tanks.

Excellent variety of fish, and absolutely anything for pets, from dog tags stamped/printed while you wait to food for all pets, pet toe nail clippers, toys, raw hide bones, excellent, knowledgeable and friendly people working there.

Marine fish section is well stocked. Prices on livestock are very high. Been there a few times, and only couple of times did staff offer to help. The livestock is quite healthy. African Cichlid stock could be worked on.

It was quiet on Tuesday about three pm. All the staff were talking amongst themselves. Was able to browse without interruptions. Nice variety of tetras on sale. Even got 10% off the marked price on a bag of fish food.

Variety and range of pet accessories and animals is very good. Unfortunately the owners were the most unfriendly and disinterested people around. Don't know how they still around based on their poor PR skills.

Decently priced store, helpful staff. They have a modest collection of tropical fish, a small collection of marine and a tiny selection of cold. Best place to be when looking for water treatments and tests.

The selection is amazing and they have most things, however, the staff are unhelpful and it feels like you're irritating them when you ask them something. A big sigh before answering. Unpleasant experience.

They have a good range of products for all pets including chinchillas, hamsters, birds, cats, dogs and fish. I do not condone them selling gineapigs and hamsters as their conditions aren't always great.

Although they have a great variety of pet and product offerings, the managers/owners don't know how to treat customers properly. Clearly retaining customers and repeat purchases isn't a worry of yours.

Recently bought crickets for my chameleon, disgusted by the state that they are in. They charge a fortune, and half of them are dead in the container. The staff are also not the friendliest.
