"I was blown away by my experience at this clinic"
"Amazing vets! I didn’t even have to go in to get professional assistance and advice for my reptile, they provided it over the phone! Super polite and nice people and great customer service! Definitely reliable and would come here again! 100% recommended to those seeking veterinary advice! This was the one place that picked up the phone right away, answered all my questions, and was super polite and professional! Thank you Wildwood Veterinary Hospital!"
"I really love bringing my cats here"
"Wildwood Vet is an awesome and trustworthy place for my most valuable babies! My furry kids are in good hands when they are tended to"
"Thank you to Wildwood Veterinary Hospital for taking care of my precious bird"
I was blown away by my experience at this clinic. I’m writing this review 2+ years after my visit as I’m still extremely thankful for my experience. One of my rabbits, Robin had an eye abscess and needed emergency surgery. The dr. Made sure to remind me the risk of surgery for rabbits especially since mine was an old man but he did great and pulled through and I got updates throughout the surgery. Unfortunately other health issues which were unrelated arose a while later but the dr. Helped give me comfort in knowing I did everything I could to save him. The prices are reasonable, there is great communication of risks/options and everyone there is educated on exotics. I highly recommend this clinic if you have the opportunity.

I really love bringing my cats here. The doctor and staff are great, I trust them. There is a very personal feel, not cookie cutter like some of the veterinary chains. I also like how calm the office is, which is really important for cats, meaning there are only one or two other animals coming through while we are there. Another place I went had about 8 dogs in the waiting room and my kitten was totally freaked out. Overall I highly recommend.
Wildwood Vet is an awesome and trustworthy place for my most valuable babies! My furry kids are in good hands when they are tended to. When dealing with Wildwoodvet there are no questions left unanswered. They are attentive and compassionate. Very professional and patient. I went to them as a referral and will continue using them for all my kids. I highly recommend their services. Pat and Gary Miller of San Jose
Thank you to Wildwood Veterinary Hospital for taking care of my precious bird. She broke the tip of her beak and was bleeding. I called all night to various vet places and to no avail was I able to get help for her until this morning. I had to bandage her beak with some flour on wound last night so that she didn’t continue bleeding. Thank you specially to Dr Azevedo! And, to her team!
Dr. Diana Welsh and the staff at Wildwood Veterinary Hospital are the best! They treat your pets like members of your family, and I take my whole non-human family there, both furry and scaled. Their prices are reasonable, and it's the personal touch that matters. You are included there in your pets treatment.
Dr. Azevedo is absolutely amazing. I have a senior bun and she as well as the staff take great care of her :) I believe if you have a bun they're only available Monday or Tuesday but that's ok, just be sure to schedule in advance. Thank you for taking such good care of my bun we thank you so much! …
When my regular vet stopped taking g appointments and the hospital could not see my cockatiel with an eye injury, a friend recommended Wildwood. They got me in the same day and my bird's injury was treated right away. Let's just say...I have a new, more responsive veterinarian. Thank you Wildwood.
I didn’t even visit, just called for some advice for my tortoise. They couldn’t get me in but Monica was SO kind and emailed me a list of resources. She went out of her way to help me and I wasn’t even a patient. To me it shows that they really care about animals. Thank you Monica!
I actually take my parrots to see Dr. Sanders in the Redwood City clinic, but whenever I need medicine refills, he coordinates with the San Jose clinic and I am able to pick them up closer to home. Dr. Sanders and staff at both clinics are incredible.
If you're looking for an excellent Avian vet, I highly recommend Dr. Diana Welsh. Her knowledge, expertise, and sensitivity to birds is outstanding. My Amazon parrot, Roscoe, actually loves going to see her; the staff are wonderful, too!!!
Dr. Diana Welsh is a very good veterinarian. She's very thorough, meticulous, patient, and kind. Prices are similar to others in the area and less for some things. Love that we can bring our cats, bird, and turtle all to the same vet.
Not the place to go. If your animal needs to be seen quickly. I called with a sick bird, fever and intense itching. Was worried that he might have an infection. The soonest they could get us in was two and a half weeks later.
If you have a bird you must go to Dr Welsh. She and her husband are one of the few avian vets in SF South Bay. She has taken care of my conure for over a decade and I am very happy with the service.
Do not take your pets here!!!! THEY KILLED MY BIRD ON ACCIDENT and showed no sympathy. The doctor wanted to charge me 1,500 JUST to do an X-ray and a blood test. An absolute ripoff. Terrible vet!
Good small animal vet. Very expensive — meds for a rodent (!) were $100 for common antibiotics that I thought should’ve been like $5-10. On the plus side, they were able to see me quickly.
They were very helpful when I called with questions. As a result, was able to avoid an expensive procedure for my bird. Glad to have a good bird vet in the area.
Prompt service, reasonable prices, attention to detail for my parrot, exceptional knowledge, calls concerning results. Doctor owns 4 parrots.
The best veterinary hospital, have taken all of our family animals for years and always have been great to work with staff to care for them.
We've been talking our pets here dog and reptiles, for over 16 years. Very trustworthy vet and staff, who really care about the animals.
Nice staff. Though the whole place really only has one vet that seems to be in charge so it's not a place for emergencies.
Very caring staff and services for dogs, cats, and other small animals and birds, as well as acupuncture and chiropractic.
The bird vet saved my parrots life from somthing she ate. She is very well informed and generous with answering questions
The staff was patient and kind to my bird who bites. I got my health check and my bird was able to fly with me.
Thank you for helping Echo! It was scary during covid times and I'm glad you were open and could help save him.
These guys took care of our tortoise without having to cut into his shell. Saved him. Can't thank them enough.
Very friendly staff who all absolutely love animals. Quite pricy though. $1,700+ for a broken leg???
We took our dogs and bird to Dr. Welsh for years. She took great care of us. Great staff.
Staff is very friend. Kind to pets :) my mom has been going here for her parrot forever.
Very caring and gentle with my mice. Felt they were just as concerned as I was.
