I found the staff to be friendly and accommodating, however not informed well enough with regards to where one should be i.e. which court room. The facilities where less than expected e.g. there aren't any water tower drinking facilities and a witness room was dirty and had a pungent smell later found to be an old shoe next to the bin. The out come of the case to which I was a witness, but not called, went in the favour of the prosecution, the judges decision. This was, in my opinion, a gross error and sad day for the British judicial system. Where a women who terrorized and psychologically abused their husband and then assaulted them and cried out because their husband defends themselves and they have a small bruise which they then commanded the police to arrest them and consequently get them charged with domestic violence# wins the case and the poor husband unable to see his daughter or even speak to his wife through any means is left in bits. Because the IDIOT JUDGEMENT of the ruling person in charge.....!!!!! has no concept or, again in my opinion, ability to have such power intrusted to them to determine another persons life future. I'm extremely disgusted and ashamed that this breach of trust to be fairly treated by those we have in place and pass judgement has been dealt with like a parking ticket.

It really bad this place takes over 30 mins to answer the phone, it's getting closer and closer to thier absurdly early closing time still no answer. It's disgusting this place is such a shambles the fact they are making decisions affecting people's futures here and they can't even pick up the phone. Needs to be thoroughly turned around. Why do my taxes pay for this? Edit: I have been hung up on twice after waiting 30 minutes each time. This place needs a staff overhaul.

They never answer the phone, each time I am on hold for at least 35 minutes before the call ends. The one time someone picked up the phone she gave me minimal information, refused to send me an email outlining some details. She then hung up on me. How professional

I've been trying to find information about the ownership of the Magistrates Court and there's no receptionist or anyone to talk to about this just a mechanical service which doesn't offer much help. It would probably pay to get a human receptionist!

Really really bad service. Just to make an enquiry I have been waiting 2.5 hours on hold (done my washing up and mopped the floor and went shops and back).it's now 4:27pm and they close @ 04:30pm lol Really really bad management !!

quite an unreal service, no answer for over an hour, called at least 4 times and its the same, have sent an email, i doubt i will get a response, its like an abandoned court house. would of given it zero stars if i could have.

Below standard services, the worst i have ever experienced, you can try getting hold of them but the odds of winning the euromillions lotto is far higher than having a chance they should answer the phone to you

I overheard the other day the staff there moaning and the place is run on tory budget meaning its probably not even cleaned and therr is covid outbreaks. The managers are bad here and the staff look miserable.

Old n outdated looking. Dirty chairs. Very helpful staff n security tho. Needs a renovation. Overall not a bad experience in court. Happy to say I beat the police in court found NOT GUILTY for traffic offence!

Magistrates seem to not care for victims that have their court cases here its unfair, had mine here and the system was rigged and the opposition was declared not guilty!! Plus the amount of hours of waiting…

I had a positive experience with this court. They were fair, I felt heard, and accommodated me with time since I had to return to work after my trial. All of the staff were lovely.

Dont even deserve 1star. Never pick up phones. Slow and poor at communicating. Judges are and admin team are non exist. This court needs an audit for the way it operate. Shocking

They are paid 100K+ a year to sit and play solitaire. You need to be related with the queen in order to be able to contact them. They are not available for the ordinary peasants!

Absolutely terrible, i have tried to call them many times and it just rings, i need to urgently speak to them and it has been ringing for 45 minutes
