People are quick to complain and write bad reviews. HONESTLY, I am SUPER PICKY. I rarely write reviews, but I HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Winford Funeral Home, the floral shop on site, and the friendly staff. My Dad had passed away suddenly and peacefully. My brother and I had to make funeral arrangements ASAP. We are so glad that we chose Winford Funeral. The STAFF were so APPROACHABLE, UNDERSTANDING, and KNOWLEDGABLE while they provided our needs by giving us options, advices, etc. according to the deceased's funeral wishes. The floral shop employees made BEAUTIFUL FLORAL ARRANGEMENTS as pictured in the photos. The Korean florist who took our floral orders was PATIENT & QUICK with the sentimental messages & the different sender names on the ribbons for each arrangement !!!!! Hung Le clarified and explained various options in Lehman's terms according to my Dad's funeral wishes, I DID NOT FEEL RUSHED. Hung was VERY PATIENT, PROFESSIONAL, and ACCOMADATING to our needs even with abrupt sudden changes since some of our family members from other states came early before our Dad's funeral services. With Hung's help, we decided to have a Full Creamation with 2 days viewing for my Dad to allow family, relatives, and friends some closure to say goodbye to my Dad. DAD'S FUNERAL SERVICE WENT WELL. I cannot put in words the support John and his team gave us in the past 2 weeks. My younger brother passed away untimely at the age of 30 due to leukemia at MD Anderson hospital. Being Hindu and to respect my parents wishes I was looking for a funeral place which performs the rituals. Team Aid volunteer gave me the number of John. After talking to him he provided a list of hindu priests, explained how the rituals are performed in the funeral home along with the cremation. Since this was my first time navigating a hindu cremation and it being my own baby brothers the support and kindness provided my John is something I will be grateful for my life. Incase you are in Houston and looking for a place cremation + hindu rituals for your passed loved one, please pick winford. There are some things in life which are beyond what money can buy. Winford John and their team are compassionate, emphatetic and go way beyond for making these first difficult days as seamless as possible. A couple of weeks before my 92 year old father passed away, Mr. Reyna came to my mom’s house as we had not made any funeral arrangements and knew the end was coming. Mr. Reyna was very compassionate, helpful, and patient answering all our questions and texts. They did a wonderful job with my Dad. They were very accommodating with us and our desires for the funeral service. I highly recommend Winford Funeral home….they made our mourning and grief as we prepared for the funeral stress free on their end and walked us through every step of the way. Is open for many hours, that way you can stay with you love one more time(spend more time). You decide how many days do you want to let you love one in the funeral home and is optional how many hours you share. That means that if you want to stay visiting you love one since 9am to 7pm , for 2 or 3 or 5 days (every single day, before he or she are cremated or whatever you decide) you can do it!!! Is amazing, because others funerals homes only allow you to stay 2 hours and day after another 2 hours. This funeral home is wonderful, people help you a lot(employers and the owner working together to made this difficult time for you a lot softer.

Hung and the staff at Winford funeral home did an excellent job taking care of my uncle who passed recently. We were patiently guided throughout the process. Hung made sure all parties felt respected and honored. Most importantly, I was extremely impressed with how Hung and the team treated my uncle. From the proper care of his body to the delivery of his remains, I can’t thank them enough for the compassion, love, and kindness shown throughout the process.

It’s difficult to loose a loved one but John R. and the staff at Winford made the process easier to bare. They were there from beginning to end and displayed the upmost respect, care, compassion, and honesty. The team, especially John, went above and beyond answering any questions we had and gave us a world of knowledge to allow us to make informed decisions for our loved one. Mr Tang has been a very good friend of mine for many years now, I recommend this gentleman to family's when in time of need, Mr Tang will always show respect and he does care and he is a very caring and loving person, I love the Asian people and I will all ways have respect and care for them, There like family to me. We had a funeral and a cremation service at Winford on Tybor Rd. last week. It was very satisfying experience working with Victor and Wei Wei and the attending staff on the day of service. I had to send flowers at the last minute and needed to confirm that the family received it on time and your response to my many email questions were very quick and the family received.

The staff is always ready for any support even during the going on function. They are offering live event streaming and spiritual music playing. We’ve been here many times. The staff is very nice. Mr. Shu Tang and Mr. Tonio Loh are professional and knowledgeable and understanding. The crematory is on-site making it very convenient. Besides attending funerals, we also signed pre-paid cremation contracts as well. One service they can add is a dining hall for post funeral gatherings for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Hung went above and beyond our family’s expectation. He treated us with such compassion, empathy, and respect during the toughest time of our lives. He made it possible for us to plan a funeral for our loved one with as much ease as possible. I’m forever grateful for Hung and his professionalism!
