My daughter and I have been shopping at Capilano winners for many years, I have a lot of positive experiences with the cashiers and the store staff in general. I found the store well stocked, well displayed and clean. I received excellent customer service from an employee on the floor by the name Nissa, from another southside winners, an employee in the fitting room, a cashier by the name Aisha .both employees from Capilano winners. These employees are polite, knowledgeable, professional and hardworking. In general, I noticed all employees of winner stores are well trained, honest and walking extra miles each day to provide the best service to their customers. We Canadians are proud and blessed to have Winners to buy quality products and appreciate their customer service day in and day out. Wishing all winners employees ( including Capilano staff), managers, and directors the best in 2022. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Minla and I are Nellie and very proud to be regular and loyal customers of the Winners .

Do not come to this location if you are a woman, have children, or are a human that needs to relieve themselves in general. There is no public washroom. There is no change table. If you are in the middle of shopping and need to use amenities, you are out of luck. If your child needs to use the amenities or you need to change a diaper- too bad for you. The answer to why they no longer have a washroom is not logical in any way, considering their neighbouring stores have managed to keep theirs open. It is simply disrespect and disregard for you as a customer at best and at worst, a lack of initiative to find a solution. I will no longer be spending my money at this location and I would be remiss to spend my money at this franchise if I find that other locations have followed suit. Your customers deserve better Winners.

My shopping experience at Winners was very very good. The sales staff member that I met there was most helpful to ensure that I selected a hair care product that I could use without the risk of coating my hair and scalp with harsh chemicals that attract all of the pollutants from the atmosphere. I find that with all of the construction going on here in Edmonton Alberta there are a lot dust and smoke particles that cling to ones hair and skin. The Ben Sherman Products that they stock at Winners works great for people who have a sensitive body type. I'm sure that my female friends would find these products to help remove any of the smog particals and phyisical compounds from there hair as well. But don't take my word for it. Has anybody purchased an online giftcard from winners/homesense and had them actually work? I was sadly scammed out of $50 after buying one through their website online. The giftcard was supposed to be texted to my friend who I was buying it for, and after 3 attempts to have it re-sent to her, I asked for a refund. They offered to send the gift card to somebody else (which no thanks, this was not for somebody else), and refused to give me a refund. I am out $50, and have no gift card. Thankfully, they apologized for the "inconvenience" aka stealing my money.

Winners is actually a decent store, however, the inside reminds me of the old SAAN stores, or rather looks like The Value Village of the first time buyers program. Not saying anything is used just has thay feel like half the items will return to a store mirroring winners (ahem value village). Lol. Good prices on new products, from adult winter coats to children's socks, toys and games, a quality selection of beauty supplies, and gifts for that special occasion. When you shop at Winners, you leave feeling like a winner !!

I don't agree with the negative comments. The store is bright and well laid out so Wheelchairs and Walkers are not hindered. The variety of apparel and household items frequently changes so it is worth visiting often. Prices are way below those downtown and of equal quality and the same brand names sold in local malls. Definitely worth a visit and I found the staff friendly and helpful. It must be nightmare constantly bringing in new lines and having to modify the store shelving. Hope this is helpful, Jenni.

I always like winners but I had an experience this time that was no good. I bought a knit sweater and as I was paying, a worker came out of nowhere and jumped in front of my cashier trying to removing a magnetic tag. She ended up punching a hole in my sweater. I had to go find another...I was lucky there actually was another in my size...then when I returned to pay...she didn't even apologize! People if customer service isn't your jam...go work in a factory or something. Geeze.

When I was pregnant in the pandemic they shut bathrooms. If only they had bushes outside for me to pee in. Now again, I wish for them bushes, cause they have put staff only signs and you aren't allowed to use bathrooms. I won't be likely shopping here unless they change that. When I'm out with my baby I won't have the luxury it now apparently is to use a bathroom or change a diaper. So disappointed. I love winners and frequent them. But I'll take this one off my list.

If I can give zero stars to this location I would. It appears the Manager at this location is the worse in all of Canada. The manager Locked the bathrooms during the 2020 lockdown era. I avoided shopping there. I went back today and decided to take my baby for a diaper change. The bathrooms now have “associates only”. I put back all the stuff I was going to purchase and walked out. I am going to pursue making a formal complaint to the head office about this location.

Love going there in Capilano. There are always something new and sometimes different to see. Like I have found some very warm sock for my tired feet they're also thick and for walking in the Winter Weather. Good pots, decorations, clothes for the summer is there. And I had gotten 2 dresses for two girls. And the Girls loved the dresses. You can pretty much find little of everything of necessity there. For Human and your little friends your pets. Check it out.

Racist behaviour is not acceptable in this beautiful country! So how come one of your employees is a hardcore following ignorant and racist behaviour with the customer(s) who generate revenue for their pay checks? Such people actually have no right to be here who make others feel bad for no reason. Shame on You! Location- 5055 101 ave Edmonton, Alberta. Been a customer of this store from years but from now it’s doesn’t even exist for me.

I got bounced from staff member to staff member asking a pretty simple question and getting no help until I got helped with someone who actually had mastery over the English language. Customer service is important and in a predominantly English speaking location, it is important to at least be able to direct me the first time to someone who can speak English well. The prices are very high and selection is pretty poor.

There are some things that Winners does very well. I like their shoes, for instance, although if you are looking for one thing, specifically, then good luck. I also like their cookware, which is very varied, and some of it mildly exotic. I have also had good luck finding hats, because where does a man get a hat these days -- a hat store? Find yourself a Winners, and see what it has, or has not, got for you.

One of the employees was extremely rude,And was beyond rasist towards a women with color I think it is unbelievable how a employee would treat a PAYING costumer like that, The employee also followed her out and accused her of stealing she had a small purse and leggings how is she supposed to steal. Then told the Manager that she was swearing? I think this is outrageous and ridiculous.

Like all Winners, there are great deals to be had if you have the time to look through stuff and find the gems. Lots of interesting stuff at this store and it’s generally fairly tidy. It’s slightly smaller compared to other Winners in Edmonton but still pretty decent selection. We found lots of inexpensive Christmas cards and wrapping, their seasonal section is very good.

The store looks like a lot of work. I mean that in a good sense though. They have a lot of goods. A cloth section, a shoe section, body products section and so on and so forth. The fitting rooms seem to have a lot of clothes going in and coming out of them. I think the staffs work hard, it would be difficult to maintain a busy store, with lots of goods.

This Winners is brightly lit and fairly well laid out — it's definitely not as crowded with racks as some stores can be! I find that although it has a smaller selection than some of the larger Winners stores, they usually have some pretty solid goods, particular in the shoe and kitchen sections. The cashier staff are friendly and efficient.

As usual, I found thing i liked for really cheap! Winners is a good place to go, whether you are looking for cheaper clothes or interesting knick knacks and snacks! I found a really beautiful Adidas watch for 69.99, and a japanese cooking knife for 29.99, and some dried coconut chips! All in all very fun and quality products as usual!

Since they are refusing customer access to their washrooms, I am refusing to shop there. I hope many more customers follow suit. It is ridiculous for them to tell their shoppers to go to Walmart because they don’t want the responsibility of providing the service to their customers. The store’s overall cleanliness is lacking.

makes me mad when they closed public bathroom to the public.,and then Choose whom they let in to their bathroom. I use to love coming here but after that will not be going back and Discourageany one else too as well . If you are choosing to closed public bathroom then do so for every one not to just choose to let in.

They have lovely and beautiful home accessories from door mates ,bed stands,bathroom and bedroom items and home decors also. They have kids ,men and women cloths among others ,I would really recommend this place to anyone that wants to purchase home accessories. Just make sure your wallets and cards are loaded .

When you go to Winners many locations, this one and the one in Brewery District you get a great selection of odds and sods on sale or clearance. I generally go for discount food items. Yes food items not including fresh stuff. But getting organic Hemp seeds and British chocolate treats is a no brainer.

Nice location but not as big as other locations. The kids clothes section is limited. You can find nice things here if you go at the right time and day. The cosmetic section is ok. The ladies handbag section does not have a lot of selection like other winners in the city. It’s a small nice store.

Always find something here and then leave with more stuff then I intended (and less money). There were lots of sales associates milling about but not really helping. Long line up at cash as the 2 associates there were calling for help and it took quite awhile for some to come.

Clean, well kept store and friendly staff. It's unfortunate they got rid of their jewelry counter but understandable with lower sales in that department. I almost always find what I'm looking for - just wish they had a bigger selection of t-shirts (men's wear) once fall hits.

They have a variety things, although its stock it's limited. For example they different model of shoes for different sizes. I found a shoes that I loved but they were 8 and that was the only pair they had, and it's the same for all models. The prices are fair though.

Clean store, easy to navigate. Great prices on household items, games and holiday decor. Staff is not pushy but always available to help. This store does have a limited capacity right now due to 19.

Even after Black Friday, Grey Cup Weekend and now Cyber Monday the store is still very organized and clean! Even after all that weekend pressure the girl at the checkout couldn't have been sweeter.

Having the washrooms not in service for customers is insulting. I'm over 70 and when I have to pee I don't have time to run to Walmart. I'll shop at another winners.

Smaller location but has everything most winners have to offer. Tucked away in the corner of a strip mall it can be hard to miss. Good department store.

Good place for Hott Sauces. Need more skin care products for men. They do need bigger t-shirts for men (like XXL), not much variety in that section.
