Didn’t get what I paid for. Realized when I was home about to eat and called and asked them to remake as it was already going cold on a freezing night. Got there and they refused to remake and said it was still ‘warm’ (not hot). They added what was missing and I was extremely unhappy saying that they said on the phone they would remake. I sat in the car an extra 10 mins giving them time to remake for mucking up my $35 order. I was given dirty looks and just stared at for their mistake. I said I wouldn’t come back again. I went out to my car and told my partner and he went in and demanded they make us new ones as it was almost an hour since I originally ordered. My partner sat in there while they remade the food and happily gave him new ones and was apologetic and kind. I’m absolutely appalled at they way they treated me though. Why couldn’t they give me a new one, I had to send my partner in when I was quite firm in the first place. I’ve been here several times and I always have to specifically ask for peas (even tho that’s what you get). Didn’t think I’d have to specify to receive gravy on a pack. What a joke of an hour bcos they didn’t put gravy on my food and such a hassle to come 10 mins each way. Very rude to me. I wouldn’t even give 1 star.

Absolutely brilliant place to get dinner, staff super friendly very reasonably priced, ring for pick up available, chickens do run out early though chips are fantastic cooked in fresh oil regularly.

I went to this take away as it was close to us, and we haven't been there for a while so thought would give it another go, I was very disappointed, the chips weren't cooked enough, could still taste the raw potato, the potato fritters were awful the potatoes were still raw, the calamari rings were stringy and still raw the same with the fish, this was very off putting, gave it all to the chooks, won't be going back!

We love this place for a quick takeaway because the owners/workers are lovely. Food is done quickly and is what you'd expect for a takeaway shop. Chips are great - crispy and tasty as long as you don't keep them sweating in the bag as with any chips

I searched high and low for good hot chips, and finally have found, consistent, and fantastic hot chips. Be if for a small packet or $50 worth (yes, I got $50 for a party) and they where hot, fast, and perfect! The steak sandwich (with the lot + potato fritter) is the new best thing you'll ever eat. The AB's are HUGE and worthy of two people, the shnitty packs are fantastic! All the salads are fresh and really full of flavor, the rice pudding is so sweet and I couldn't be happier with them.

Quite a busy place for fish and chips etc. Staff are nice, food is always fresh & tasty.

Good points: -Fish, calamari and prawn sticks were crumbed well. -Price is suitable for meal size. Bad points: -Found two hairs in meal. -When I asked if they had fries (thin cut), they told me chips (thick cut) are the same thing and I recieved chips, which are not what I wanted. -No pepper and salting was very minimal. Note: In the end, your experience may very well be different from mine.

Nice quiet friendly old school fish and chip shop tucked away on Winston st. The staff are friendly, food is made quickly, prices are reasonable. The chips are the best fresh hot not too salty and a good color and crunch. The staff are the friendliest my chips were done and he brought them out to me. A good variety of take out from chicken to burgers and everything in between. 10/10

It's been there forever. Their chippery is hot & delicious, with just the right amount of salt from the chicken aka chicken salt. Good value, large bag o chips overflowed from the paper bag. 5 stars!

These guys make their own potato fritters. Freshly battered, well cooked, soft on the inside, crunchy on the outside. Absolutely delicious! I also had a plain hamburger. The burger patty was ok, could have been a bit meatier as it seemed to have additives in it either breadcrumbs or some kind of filler, but was tasty. Patty couldnhave also been bigger honestly.

We come from Kingswood just for their fish, chips and burgers, family owned and operated they’re always friendly, fabulous salads and shop is very clean.

Great fish and chip shop clean tidy, good service and really enjoyed the lovely fresh salads and grilled fish , you can always tell when the oil is fresh , dad had the battered butter fish , we shared the crisp chips , and potato fritters cooked to perfection. Ordered fish n chip. It was too oily, the tartare sauce was of really cheap quality. And they give only one fish??? My friend has chicken and chips, and the gravy was just disgusting. Overall cheap price but I’d rather spend more at another place and get quality food. Not coming back here.

This place is hidden i never knew this place was here. Glad i found it the foods are amazing and the price is so much cheaper other then the other place i went to. Great foods and the price is worth the trip for this place support the little guys. Nice work will be coming back again.

Greeted with a friendly smile and good customer service. The food is not bad but I wouldn't recommend the chips or the gravy. Chips were very dry, even with the gravy and the gravy tasted quite sweet. I will go again but avoid the chips. More

I felt like a steak and onion roll with bbq sauce...it was exactly as I'd been thinking...simple but fab and I can also highly recommend the battered butterfish salads and chips. Yummm

The take away was very clean and the staff were friendly. We had a burger chips and a chicko roll. The food was very good I would reckon mend this take away shop if you're in the area.
