Prices are ok but the service is painfully slow almost every time I walk in. Yet again I walked in and there were people waiting as yet another person ties up the only person at the counter. If the guy in back ever comes out to help I'll faint from shock. My brother and I walked in just before one other person, only to find yet another waiting while this blow hard yapped about everything but a purchase. Seriously, he went on about how he taught his buddy how to program and how he found out his problem was because the mice were chewing on his wires and yadda yadda yadda. Finally I made a comment and left, the blow hard shot a remark back but I laughed as the others walked out as well. I wanted a case,hd and cpu. My brother was interested in their refurb laptops and the video card on the wall that was on sale. I don't know what the others wanted but they lost $$$ and return customers. I can wait my turn but I will not tolerate time wasters who think their banal banter is more important than everybody else. I work as a clerk and sympathize with the guy behind the counter, but they need to politely shut down the yappers and move on when the line keeps getting longer and everybody else is clearly pissed. -------Rebuttal------- It was not my opinion but a fact, I finally grabbed a case and walked over to the counter and asked the price. After he told me I said I needed something cheaper and a few other things. Yet the clerk went back to talking to the yapper despite other customers clearly getting annoyed with the situation. Obviously the other customers who walked out felt the same thing, so we either shared this alleged opinion or its fact. Besides my brother and I there were two others waiting before us that also walked out. Am I to believe we were all wrong ?. I work as a clerk and yappers are common, but you have to shut them down with a polite "sorry but I have to help the others" when you have more and more customers waiting and clearly getting agitated. So if your not busy then by all means indulge in this "customer service" to your hearts content. But don't call it that when you had multiple people walking out your door. Secondly I never said the guy in back did nothing, but if your that busy an extra hand is need from time to time. So please do try and refrain from putting words in my mouth if it's not to difficult for you and defending poor service while your at it. This wasn't the first time this has happened but after what you just said I can ensure it's the last. Seriously, I came back to pull the review because I cooled down. But after putting words in my mouth, attacking my claim as an "opinion" and defending what happened .... wow, and you even had the gall to open with a "sorry". Anyway say what you want as I shan't return here or to yon store. Clearly you don't want our business and I'm fine with that.

I've bought from this place a few times never having a problem, its only when I've had to have my pc fixed and my tablet fixed that I ran into poor business relations. First off when I put my pc in to get fixed I asked the guy please don't do any work after the diagnoses until he'd called me to let me know the price as Im on disability and maybe couldn't afford to get it fixed, I was fully prepared to pay for the diagnoses but he went ahead anyway and did the work that needed to be done without consulting me first as I asked him to do. Second incident was with my tablet, I brought it in to have a full reset and software reinstalled, he told me if I couldn't use the tablet after he had done the work that I wouldn't be charged. When I got it back after 2.5 days, it required me to remember an email and password I used when I first got the tablet to which I couldn't remember, so it was rendered useless. He specifically said I would be able to use the tablet when he was finished doing what he needed to do or else I wouldn't have been billed for his services, it was supposed to be set back to a clean slate. He never warned me that I might have to remember anything to get the tablet running or else I would've refused the work knowing I didn't remember anything about the hookup since I was in the hospital recovering from spine surgery when the tablet was bought and set up. So now after paying wintronics $58 I have to pay someone else $60 to bring the tablet to the clean slate that wintronics said they'd bring it to. I couldve bought a brand new tablet for a few more dollars that I was basically forced to pay to fix this one

Scammers. I brought my phone to have the charging port replaced since it will only charge if I held the cord to the side. I tried different cords all had the same issue. I left it with them for a day and came back the next. The phone would not even turn on. I took it to Best Buy and had a real tech savy person take a look at it and was told the motherboard was physically damaged which is why it would no longer turn on. I went back and asked for them to pay for the damages they caused. I spoke to the individual who I had seen working on the phone and was told that he didn't do it which was a blatant lie. After asked for just a refund and not even for them to pay to get it fixed I was told no. I do NOT recommend this place. Go somewhere else for your tech needs. We had a pop spill over our brand new laptop and brought it in to be cleaned and fixed if possible. They had it for over 3 weeks and then told us it was unfixable due to them not being able to get parts and having replaced one chip three times deemed it non fixable. Once we got it back it was torn down again and the person who tore it down (in front of us I should add) found a whole bunch of pop and corrosion still in the components. From what the second repair person said, it looks like they didn't even take it apart to clean it, so of course it doesn't work. We paid for a service and did not receive it.

I've dealt with Hamilton wintronics for several years and have bought two servers, three desktop machines, a laptop, and various other hardware. The people here know their stuff and are very friendly and helpful. My most recent experience was with a laptop I bought 6 months ago that developed a problem with the power chip by the battery. After trying a replacement battery and exchanging the power cord they simply replaced the laptop without hesitation. This kind of service sets them apart and is why I will keep going back. Thank you, keep up the good product selection and awesome service.

I went and bought a new "modem".. There was writing all in the manual and the plastic was ripped. I brought it back they gave me a "new" one. Constantly getting dropped. I have three small kids doing home schooling. Every device in the house gets dropped at least a dozen times a day. It's so frustrating. The second one I got from them. The power cord wasn't wrapped. Doesn't look new to me. I'm assuming they are wrapping these items themselves and selling as new. Waiting on a response from them. Will update. OK they won't answer me. Can I return it

They don't care for the customer just want your money I went and drop my I Pad 2 for replacement of a glass open the box look and everything look find did not touch the screen me or the employee arrive home toke it out of the box but my finger and window crake call next morning and don't want to replace said I abuse my glass really bad service will NEVER NEVER recommend this store

Went in for a new monitor, was given undivided attention to help me find the perfect product for my specifications. When I had an issue with getting the right cord, they agreed to swap the cables at no extra cost and then gave me a discounted extra part to ensure I was able to use my monitor. I'll definitely go back next time I need something computer-related! A+ service.

You can grab a great deal here, and I pop in once and awhile. Staff is always friendly, not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I don't need repair service or pre-built computers though since I just do it myself, so I can't speak on that. I just drop by when I see a good price for parts, and that experience has always been top-notch!

Great Service and Great Price I recently purchased computer memory and IPTV box from Wintronic. They were really helpful in finding the right memory for my computer and they even helped install it. The IPTV box i got is awesome. The pricing was great - not too many places can beat these guys. My goto place going forward.

I am a senior and had great help from Kash. I had an older computer that he repaired for me as I didn’t have the funds to purchase a new one. He also repaired a notebook that I was told couldn’t be repaired by another repair company. Very friendly, patient with me and informative. Would totally recommend him.
